He called back in a timely manner and said he would be happy to do the job but he had a contact that he always uses for reverse osmosis installations and he highly recommended him. I said I would use his recommendation and he gave me the name. I called "The Water Guy" (Bill Hageman 818 489-3928) and this guy showed up the same day and did an amazing job at an excellent price.

All went smoothly. He had to do a little extra work because there was a furnace vent in the way which had to be temporarily removed to get the new heater in place. Also, the old heater did not have the pressure relief valve piped to the outside, which is a code requirement, so he did that also. I would certainly call them again for other plumbing needs!

An outstanding experience. My phone call was returned the same day and the water heater installed the very next day. Claudio was thoroughly processional and very friendly. It was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing. He thoroughly cleaned up after himself. I think that I have found my "plumber for life" and obviously wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

We called to set up the appointment and our call was returned promptly. Scheduling a time was also very straightforward. He's obviously a well organized person. He did an excellent job with the repairs and communicated well. I was very pleased with the entire experience. He performed clean, professional and tidy work. I would be very happy to call him again next time I need plumbing work.

Noticed a leak under our sink. They came out, replaced the disposal and left everything nice and neat.

I called contractor on Wed and he indicated that the day was busy, but he might be able to get to me the same day or the next morning. We set the appt for 7:30 - 8am the next day. I called at 7:30 am and again at 8am to make sure that he was still coming. At 8:30am, he called to expain that he had set the appt for the wrong time. He seemed like a nice person - very knowledgeable - and he provided info over the phone about the drain issue, possible causes. Unfortun, he missed the appt and I had to go to work and call another plumber. His quote of $129 to unclog a drain seemed a bit high as well.

I did some research on what the best replacement would be and then called Claudio on a weekend. He called back shortly and gave me his expert opinion on what to buy, as well as telling me what I would pay for the unit through him, giving me a couple of choices of hp etc. He said he was fine installing what ever I bought. I left him a vm late on Sunday and heard back from him within an hour confirming install price and time the next day and that he'd call me as soon as he knew the exact time he'd finish up with an earlier job. He also said he couldn't beat the price I'd gotten at Lowe's for the lower end unit. True to his word he called and showed up with an assistant when he said Mon. morning. Installation took 1/2 hr. He took his time explaining the use of the key to unjam the unit. Charged me exactly what he quoted on the phone incl. the Angie discount. Not only very professional but a really nice guy!

Claudio was prompt, communicated well, did an excellent job and charged a reasonable fee. The best plumber we've ever used.

We have a pedestal sink that needed new hardware. We knew that he job was too big for my husband so we called Claudio to help with the project. Well, to replace the hardware on a pedestal sink is not an easy task, they had spent several hours to complete the job. We were very happy on how clean and organized Claudio and his worker were. They came in with a smile and worked very hard.

Brett arrived Saturday evening and made short work of the hose bib. Then he managed to remove a stubborn broken sprinkler head for me, but accidentally broke the $5 tool doing it. No big deal, it was a bargain. He was very friendly and helpful, and we asked him to look at some additional problems around the house that would soon need attention. He made logical recommendations and also immediately diagnosed a problem created by our last plumber which no one else had figured out. Pretty impressive. He's a younger guy, about my age and I felt like we really were on the same page and communicated well. I have had a lot of experience with subcontractors being disrespectful or grumpy or not communicating well and all of those things are so unpleasant to deal with. Not this time though, I was very pleased. Highly recommended.

After we noticed a leak at the front of our house, we called the a plumber we found out of the phone book, Express Rooter. Express was punctual, but misdiagnosed the problem and gave us a bid of approximately $1,300 to complete the work. We rejected this bid, signed up for Angie's List and selected Carvaggio Plumbing. Carvaggio came out the same day and accurately diagnosed the problem. It turned out the leak was actually in a different location than Express Rooter stated. We removed a shrub in the location of the leak and Carvaggio came out the next day to repair the leak. While the initial estimate was approximately $300, the repair was more extensive and took longer than initially thought. The additional expense was due to a crowded pipe configuration that could only be seen after excavation. Repair was completed in about five hours.

Claudio responded to our Saturday morning call promptly. He was here less than 1 hour and his work was clean, neat, and very professional. He was able to clear the lines right away and then he installed the new piece of pipe, which will make things go more smoothly if this ever happens again. Not only that, he's smart, pleasant, and extremely easy to work with. We'd recommend him to anyone!

Mr. Carravagio examined my old faucet and agreed it should be replaced. He spent over an hour removing the old faucet--it was corroded and wouldn't budge so he had to saw it off. He installed the new faucet and recaulked the sink. Mr. Carravagio was very neat and professional. He called me in advance to tell me he was on his way and kept me apprised of his time frames (his earlier appointment ran late). I only have two complaints, and these are minor given my experience with other plumbers: Mr. Carravagio did not call me back when he said he would after we first spoke about the project (I had to call him again) and he forgot to tarp the area around my sink, which resulted in my having to clean metal shavings off of a lot of my bathroom items (bottles, combs, blow dryer, etc.). Mr. Carravagio apologized for this and offered to clean up a bit, but I told him it was ok. I mention it here only to suggest that others remove these types of items from their bathrooms when having work done.

I called late in the day on Wednesday and they called back first thing in the morning the next day. Excellent response. The work was done as requested and the area was cleaned up well after the work was completed. All in all I was very happy with the experience.

I found him to be a reliable contractor. I explained to him the nature of the work and he responed with timely service. The quality of work was excellent.

It took three times longer than predicted to complete the job. It was a difficult repair. Although they did a good job and cleaned up most of the mess, it would have taken less time (and less cost) had I used a plumber with more experience with slab leaks. It took two tries to fix the leak, and that added two unnecessary hours onto the bill. I really wish they hadn't charged me for the extra hours. I did not appreciate that. But they worked almost nonstop and did fix it.

Claudio is great. He called when he said he would and we weren't here to take the call. So, he followed up with another call the following morning to let me know when he could be here. He said that he would call when he was on his way, he did, and he was here early to boot. He is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Very pleased and I will use him again if the need unfortunately arises!

He did an excellent job, and cleaned up the work space to my statisfaction

Claudio did a good job for us last August. We were fixing up a long-neglected house and we needed a new water heater, toilets, plumbing fixtures, some drains, and among other things a garbage disposal. Last night a problem developed with the disposal. I called Claudio at 8 a.m.today, left a message, and he returned my call at 8:10 a.m. He came out to fix the problem at 10 a.m. I was very pleased at how quick he was to get back to me, even though he had other commitments that day. The problem was fixed, there was no charge, and it reaffirms my earlier enthusiastic recommendation for Caravaggio Plumbing.

My husband told him to call when he was ready to fix the leak as we were in no hurry because we won't use the pool until the summer. It took about 4 days. He had one helper.

The process took about an hour. He took apart the pipes, rebuilt the path with the included new valve and installed a support arm to secure the pipes to the house. He turned on the gas, trimmed and capped the support arm, re-lit the pilots in the water heater and furnace. He verified that gas was running through the stove and that the heater turned on and finished by squirting soapy water over all the fittings to ensure no leaks. He closed all required doors and gates, being sure that our dog didn't get out.
