The first plumber we called, (located within 3 miles of us) dismissed our concerns re: a newly leaking pipe connected to our water heater as ""I don't know why it's doing that but it's nothing to bother about. " Obviously , we remained concerned so we utilized Angie's list for the second plumber call and read the reviews for Claudio at Carvaggio Plumbing. The reviews were right on the mark. He responded quickly, told me over the phone what he thought the problem most likely was and came out the next morning. Upon checking thoroughly, he identified 2 problems and installed one part that day. He came back within the week , with the regulator, which he had to order. He gave me estimates in advance, and cost came within his estimates. On the days he was coming out, he called in advance to confirm his arrival time and kept me apprised of his schedule when the previous job ran a little later. He cleaned everything up when he was finished to boot! Claudio was the consummate professional: reliable, VERY knowledgeable and a great troubleshooter. And to top it all off, he was a pleasure to work with! Claudio at Carvaggio is now our "official" plumber of choice and we will be calling them for all of our needs in the future! We highly recommend!

Caravaggio Plumbing was great. Even though he was running late from another job which took him much longer than he planned for he came after hours and helped fix my 86-year old's mother garbage disposal. Great guy, great work ethic and very honest. Would highly recommend and will definitely call again if we need a reliable plumber.

This is the second time I have used Caravaggio Plumbing. Claudio is meticulous; prompt in answering calls to set up an appointment; fairly priced and easy to get along with. I am one of those people who asks a lot of questions and requires detailed answers. Claudio does not seem to mind and is always willing to put up with my inquiries. Claudio pays particular attention to the area he works in and always, always leaves it in a clean and tidy condition, so very much appreciated. I called and spoke with Claudio who listened to me relate the situation over the phone. He knew immediately what the problem was and how to fix it. Initially he said he was booked up until next week, but called back and said he could fit me into his schedule the next day. He gave me an estimate for parts and service over the phone. Claudio called an hour before he arrived. He was prompt, professional and courteous. He examined the valve and determined that he could save me some money by not replacing the entire part and replaced only the portion that was worn out. He worked quickly and completed the work, checked out the system and assured me that it was now working fine. His final bill was below the amount he had initially quoted me. I am very pleased with the service I received and would not hesitate to have him do work for us again. I recommend him highly.

He arrived promptly, spent a lot of time checking the problem. Opening the pipes was difficult, took a long time. I don't think he expected to spend as much time as he did, but he was very gracious about it. Easy to talk to, good listener, has a sense of humor. The ultimate compliment I can pay Claudio is the fact I am writing this report 2 -1/2 mo. after the work was completed. I had problems with my right hand, but I can type (slowly) now. I would not let myself forget to write this positive feedback.

I purchased a new refrigerator with icemaker. My kitchen had never previously had a water connection for a refrigerator. I intend to remodel my kitchen in the next 1-2 years and I am less concerned with perfection than I am with functionality and price. Claudio was the first plumber to come out to give me a free estimate. I explained the situation and he gave me a creative and cost-effective solution to my problem by taking the water from the hose bib outside, and giving me an easy-to-access shutoff right at the hose bib. He then planned to run the water line through the attic and into the area where I intended to place my new refrigerator. I consulted other plumbers and they presented me with fancy-priced estimates for fancy work. No one else thought "outside the box." I called Claudio and gave him the job. He arrived promptly with Sam, his assistant. They worked efficiently and well. The job took a little less than 3 hours. They were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. The job took a little longer than Claudio had anticipated, but he honored his original estimate without even mentioning it. Job done. Simple. The appliance store delivered my new refrigerator today and installed it. There were no problems with the water line. I am a happy customer. Thanks, Claudio!

Claudio installed shut off valves under our sink for our wall mounted kitchen sink faucet. This involved breaking out a section of wall at the back of the under sink cabinet and rerouting a section of both the hot and cold water lines into the cabinet. He set up the valves so they are easily accessible and don't take up much cabinet space.

Called a large plumbing outfit out when our toilet clogged up. Was a little suspicious when they started talking about ripping out our bathroom floor at an estimated cost of 2800.00. I called Claudio, who fixed the problem for 300.00. Took time to explain everything, professional, and honest. Would highly recommend!

We discovered a hot water leak under our slab due to the heat build up in the floor, lack of water pressure in some fixtures and what sounded like a faucet running somewhere in the house. Claudio came to the house and reviewed the situation. He was very thorough about reviewing our options and the pros and cons of each and giving me some ideas for budget. It was evening and even though it was after normal business hours and we hadn't decided to use him yet, he immediately started calling a leak detector he works with to get him out to the house to locate the leak, the location of pipes under the slab and a manifold. Once we had selected him, he gave me a written estimate via email and was able to come to the house and complete the work within 48 business hours (it was close to the weekend when all this occurred and the timing worked for us). He stayed until 9:00 pm making sure the job was done right.

I read a review on Angies list from a person who had a similar problem so I thought I would call him and ask a few questions about my situation. He was very pleasant on the phone and we established a game plan.He gave me some potential solutions and said he would start with the simplest and work from there. The worst case scenario would have involved changing out the vertical pipes in the kitchen. Lucky for me he got the pressure way up with changing the supply hoses and a shut off valve in an hour and a half. He took the time to explain what the problem was and I am confident that the pressure will continue to be great. I would definitely recommend Claudio and will call him again when i need plumbing work.

Claudio and I spoke on the phone several times before he came out to the house. He seems to ask good questions before he comes out so he can give you a better idea on cost and a better idea of what the issues are with the repair. I was working with him on some plumbing issues on my home when I had a water heater leak at a rental property. I called him on Sunday morning and he returned my call Sunday night, when he came back into town. We arranged for him to go out to the rental property the next day and he promptly went out and recommended a new water heater which he installed that afternoon. He came back the next day to my home and unplugged 3 drains and made some recommendations to my wife about a couple of other repairs.

It was fine. I somehow trust the guy. He is very professional, and seems fair and honest. He gave me $10 discount. I think the price is a standard house call rate.

I have used other plumber and handyman, and after using the services offered by Claudio, I will never use anyone one else again. I called him and he responded right away and we arranged an appointment date, as my availability is sort of limited. He accommodated my request and on the day we met, he was very much on time. I showed him the problem and he diagnosed it right away and brought in the necessary parts and tools. He also discovered that the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly by the previous plumber. What amazed me, is that he was fast, clean and did a quality job. He also was able to diagnose the reason for the clogged basin and resolved the problem in not time.

It went great. They took care of the problems promptly and thoroughly at a reasonable price.

Once again Claudio solved the problem AND installed a clean out so if it ever happens again the job will be simple to fix. He saved me from having to rip them out and re-plumb them back in. Claudio is the best plumber I've ever used. He's on time, courteous, polite, reasonably priced, cleans up, but best of all you're getting the owner! He's smart and has solved many complicated plumbing issues at my 1968 home.

Caravaggio got the pipes late at 6 PM and he said he could do the work then but I told him to come in the morning. Caravaggio came sharply at 8 AM and finished by 9 AM. He is great and has been my plumber for 12 years.

Our expensive Kohler Forte faucet was leaking badly under the handle. Kohler's customer service was great about sending out the needed valve kit, diverter, o-rings, etc. Claudio installed the new valve and switched the faucet's escutcheon for a different model. He determined that the leak was caused by a faulty o-ring. The whole job took about an hour. Claudio Caravaggio is my go-to plumber. He's responsive, punctual, neat, and meticulous.

This was the third time I've used Caravaggio Plumbing. I've always been happy with Claudio's responsiveness, punctuality, and craftsmanship. I also appreciate his easygoing manner and his attentiveness to my questions and concerns. My experience with contractors has been mixed--too many have been sloppy, inexperienced, rushed--but I can heartily recommend Caravaggio Plumbing.
