Without a doubt, Bob and his crew are the best painters I have ever had! I chose Bob based on the reviews and they did not let me down. Even though Bob is the owner, he is also one of the painters. His price is very fair; the quality is excellent; he is very responsive to special requests; he is punctual (always here by 8am), and most of all professional. He gives suggestions and ideas for a better result. Jose has been with him for over 30 years and is the nicest guy. Junior rounds out this talented bunch. I usually get 3 bids for any project. Bob was the 2nd bid and after talking to him I had made up my mind. There was no need for a 3rd bid. My wife and I are very pleased with the end result and feel like we have a new home.

We got several estimates and Patterson's was somewhere in the middle but we read the Angie's List reviews and selected his outfit. We have a 1956 Cinderella tract home in Canoga Park. The paint was faded and the trim was peeling. We had an idea of the colors we wanted and at Bob's suggestion we went to the Dunn Edwards store and selected from their samples. We also wanted the front door stained and varnished and that was factored into our estimate. The guys showed up Monday morning and were done early Thursday. The work was fast and professional. The house looks fantastic. The garage door and front door look brand new. We are very pleased with the job and would highly recommend this company.

After doing a great job of painting the exterior of my house, I hired Bob and his crew to do an interior painting job in three rooms of my house: the kitchen, and bathrooms, one with a shower-tub combination and the other with a stall shower. As usual, Bob went beyond what he was expected to do, including re-gluing a loose board in a difficult-to-reach back corner of the bathroom. The workers applied two coats of paint, and the rooms look wonderful now. (I'm sorry I didn't have them done years ago.) They arrived on time, and the guys were all very friendly and helpful with any and all questions that I asked during the job. There are a few more interior areas that I'll probably have painted in the near future, and Bob is the guy I'll call.

Bob and his men arrived early every day, working tirelessly and barely taking time out even for lunch. They were all courteous and friendly. Bob himself is extremely knowledgeable, and a very pleasant guy to deal with. He explained everything in thorough, but easy to understand, terms. One initial issue that I had was the presence of over a dozen security screens, which needed to be removed to do the job properly. Bob went around and easily removed all the screens, numbered them, and later replaced them all perfectly. There was a piece of rotten wood along one side of the roof--Bob replaced it, and would not accept any additional payment. He also gave a facelift to my aging front door, and it now looks fabulous again. Because of this very positive experience, I have asked Bob to give me an estimate for doing an interior paint job on some rooms of my house--something I hadn't previously considered doing at this time.

A true professional job with attention to detail and taking pride in work. A very rare occurrence these days.

Bob and his team provided superior service at a competitive price. His team showed up on team and were polite and professional. Bob was more than happy to provide proof of Insurances requested by me and was easy to communicate with. The entire Job took 5 days as promised with minimal inconvenience. Clean up was fantastic and the house looks like new. I have no hesitation in recommending Bob to friends and family and look forward to using him again in the future.

We found Bob on Angie's list and he was very patient with us as we waited for the right time. When we did it was early December. our job was scheduled for the middle of the month, just prior to Christmas. Bob works directly with his crew and he and they all were very professional and easy to talk to. They did thorough prep work and even came over early when the opportunity arose. The repaired the stucco and trenched along the walls. I didn't know there was special paint for our deck, but this was included in the cost and looks great. The rod iron fence was a big part of our job. There is so much of it and it had been too many years since the fence was installed. What a world of difference and all this work is hand done. I think this paint job saved some spots from being vulnerable to rusting through. We took too long to post this review due to Christmas and work and then we sort of forgot. But, when we look at the paint job we are very happy we got the house painted. So, we had a daily reminder and finally it is time to give Bob and his crew their due. Thanks guys! John and Molly

Bob is great! He's a third generation painting contractor and it shows. Here's where he makes a big difference: he's punctual, he's responsive, and he was flexible enough to call and get the job done fast so I could get moved into my new house. He did an outstanding job and I'm glad to know I have a reliable painter I can call on for all my future painting needs.

Bob showed up everyday on time and called me every night to review the plans for the following work day. Everything looks amazing and I highly recommend Bob.

LOVED Bob Patterson Painting! I would highly recommend. Bob was very knowledgable, helpful and reliable with a quality of work that is first-rate. I am very particular and didn't have a single comment once the work was complete as Bob and his team paid attention to detail and ensured that everything was completed with the highest quality. The estimate was at the top end of the bids we received but we decided to go with Bob as he seemed to be the most thourogh. The price was more than fair given the end result and there was no up-selling. We will defintely use Bob Patterson Painting again for our next painting project!

I have used Bob Patterson before and he impressed me because then I asked him to paint a rental and he told me it didn't need a complete painting, just a touch up on the trim. He completed the work and the price was significantly reduced. I brought him back to paint my house and again, Bob was on time and always responsive to questions and messages. The week of the job he showed up on time. The prep work was done quickly and he cleaned up at the end of the day. He gave recommendations based on his experience and all were beneficial. I inspected the job as he finished and couldn't find a flaw in his work. He was willing to help all week and didn't leave until he knew I was happy.

Bob Patterson is the most professional and consciences home painter I have every hired. His attention to detail and followthrough is what all contractors should strive for. Always on time and always does a great job. In the past he has painted the entire exterior of our house as well as numerous rooms and special projects always with the same results?FANTASTIC! If you hire Bob, you will not have to worry about the job being done right. He is honest and professional and does great work?he is the guy you want painting your house.

Everything went perfectly, starting with showing up exactly on time every day. All the work and clean-up was done professionally and efficiently. Bob had excellent suggestions for paint and stain choices. They even went the extra mile and painted the front doors which are to be replaced in the next week or 2. And they made friends with our dogs first thing, so that the dogs were perfectly comfortable having them work in and around the house.

Bob and his team are awesome! I cannot think of one thing that they could do better throughout the process. He prepared a fair bid promptly. His team showed up on time every day. Bob personally worked with his team and supervised the process. He helped me to make decisions about paints and details on trim colors, even suggesting a substitution late in the process that worked out great. His team is very experienced. His main assistant has worked with him for around 20 years. The quality of the work was fantastic. They did not cut corners. They caulked joints and repaired stucco. Their paint coverage was good. Their trim work had precise lines, and they went over the whole house at the end of the job to perform touch ups as needed. They also worked cleanly - they cleaned up their tools each afternoon and did not spill anything or paint over any plantings close to the house. Best yet, they were all personable and nice to work with!

Bob Patterson painted the exterior of our home. I found him very professional, knowledgeable and dependable. He met with us several times to discuss all the details of the job, offered suggestions and met with us at the end of the job to make sure we were happy with the results (and we were very happy with the results). We even added extra painting tasks to the job and he was still finished early. We used his services at a later date to patch drywall and paint the interior and he was always very professional and did excellent work. He is easy to contact and easy to work with and does excellent work. I would highly recommend his painting company for any of your painting needs.

It took them about a day to do the work. The staff that came out were excellent. They're reliable and honest.

In preparation for moving out of our condo, we knew we?d have to paint the kitchen and bathrooms in our home. In addition we had some water damage a few years back that created some unsightly stains on the ceiling of the bottom floor. I contacted Bob Patterson for an estimate. He came out right away and reviewed the situation. Our kitchen was painted a dark blue and we were looking to paint it a lighter yellow color. Obviously this would require a number of coats and primer. Bob explained the process he and his team would take to tackle the kitchen and the bathrooms. Originally I wasn?t even considering the ceiling as part of the job, and thought I could tackle it myself. But Bob added some insight into what his team could do to make it look great. His final quote was within our budget (and actually came in lowest of the estimates I had). He said he could get the whole thing done in a single day and earlier in the month than I expected. On the day of the job his team arrived on time and got right to work. These guys were professionals, asking me specific questions, and answering any questions I had. They didn?t waste any time, always working hard and moving from room to room like a well-oiled machine. They did their best to keep everything covered during the ceiling painting process and the amount of work they pulled off in that single day was astounding. The results were impressive. Our kitchen looks great, the ceiling looks new, the bathrooms never looked this good. Bob and his team even touched up a few areas where the previous painters (my wife and I) had lost control of the rollers. These guys blew me away. They were true to their word and got the whole thing done in a single day. Bob and his team are at the top of my list now for any painting we need to have done in our future home and I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Bob and his team did a fantastic job!! I would highly recommend him. The paint on many of the surfaces was badly cracked and peeling. Bob scraped, sanded and filled all of these areas to ensure a smooth finish. Every surface was sanded and primer applied to most prior to painting the top coats. He patiently worked with me to match the colors. The job was completed in 2 days with SUPERB results! He and his crew were careful when moving outside furniture/items to not damage anything and everything was carefully replaced. He is very trustworthy and you can tell he takes pride in doing a great job. I would definitely call him again for my painting needs. I got other quotes and his was the best price too.
