Wow, where do I start! I can't say anything more about Barry and his team that has not already been said. You just can't help but like these guys. Barry works right along with his crew, Mike and Randy, and instills the confidence that the job will be done right, and on time. As a home owner it was a pleasure working along side Barry, who was open to listening to the customer as well as offering quality input. They arrived on time and finished on time. They all performed impressively, and give me a beautiful stamped concrete walkway that would rival any other in the neighborhood. So many people have stopped by to express their approval and appreciation. I think this project has inspired many neighbors to consider stepping up their own game. Many many thanks Barry. Barry, Mike and Team provided us with not only a beautiful and solidly constructed driveway and sideyards, they were also the most friendliest, insightful, and proactive professionals I have worked with in a long time. The driveway was complicated with a lot of curves and unusual angles, which required careful and thoughtful consideration of the borders and lines. In addition, it was clear that the end product would turn out very well considering how much time went into the prep work of clearing, leveling, checking the substrate quality and depth, grade and etc. Furthermore, they checked on where all the utility lines, water, gas, cable, and telephone conduits were located to make sure that they were safe and that there were no surprises given the house was built in the 60s. On the day of the pour, Barry recruited extra hands to make sure that everything went smoothly for the stamping and coloring due to short time window to complete this step. To make things more challenging (and to show what a pro Barry was), we had several days of rain (unusual for SoCal) and wind, which had to be compensated for so as not to compromise the pour. As you can see in the 'before' and 'after' pictures, the new concrete transformed the house to a much cleaner and neater appearance, not to mention reducing the dust and dirt. As icing on the cake, Barry's bid came in as one of the lowest. I should be so lucky to have the opportunity to meet another gentleman like Barry.

Great !!!, Barry was patient and very professional and always addressed my questions. He came out several times because I could not make up my mind of what I wanted, that's great customer service. He listened to what I was looking for and made suggestions but never once tried to sell me more. Concrete pour day, all his workers on time and knocked it out. What I saw and liked was Barry and his son Mike where there working along with the others and very meticulous and ensured everything was perfect on my new driveway and walkway.

Barry and his crew did a great job on both the concrete slab and block wall work. The entire team was very personable. They even helped me pull some wire through a conduit I was having trouble with prior to pouring the concrete. Barry help secure the right color of the new blocks and caps to match the existing wall color. The masons were very skilled. The concrete driveway extension turned out excellent. All the work was done in a timely and efficient manner.

Barry and crew are awesome! Barry really guided us through this project and really worked with us to make informed decisions. The concrete work is beautiful. It may sound like an easy job but they hauled many loads of dirt out of the yard. I highly recommend Barry! We will be asking him to help us with some future projects. We can't say enough good things about Barry!

Barry and crew did an excellent job. Very friendly and professional. The job proceeded smoothly and wend faster than I expected. We pretty much doubled the size of our driveway approach, we had to work with local building inspectors which added an additional level of complexity but Barry handled all that so everything came off without a hitch. Overall we're very happy with the quality of work and the level of professionalism. I would highly recommend working with B.R. Sheldon Concrete. They did an excellent job and we will definitely call them again for future projects.

Very responsive and professional company. Answered calls and my multiple emails quickly and showed up on time for estimate. Extremely accommodating with my many questions. I chose to go with another company that better fit my budget, but would definitely recommend this company for concrete work.

This was an excellent experience. From the prompt response to my enquiry for an estimate, to arriving for the estimate, scheduling the job, and completing the job, it was seamless, without any hitches. The workmen arrived as scheduled, worked like crazy for the most part of two days, were careful of plantings and sprinklers, cleaned up after themselves so you'd never suspect they'd been there, and even divided their refuse into the proper recycling cans. The cement work is flawless, down to the splashes being cleaned up, and areas masked beforehand so no splashes would reach them. Barry even suggested a way around spending additional money on a drain down the side of the house. I cannot think of a better experience with a contractor. Everyone was polite, friendly, and quiet (as could possibly be expected). Highly recommend!

One of the nicest contractors we have dealt with. Very knowledgable regarding what was possible for our project. From the first contact with Barry, we felt we were dealing with a truly experienced concrete contractor. Barry listened closely to our requests and then provided many additional design ideas, most of which were incorporated into our project. His crew was also outstanding. The speed and efficiency of their work was impressive. We were very happy with the end result.

First let me thank Barry Sheldon ( owner ) and his son Mike for doing an outstanding job replacing my driveway. Barry responded to my requests or questions in a timely manner via email or phone. When Barry came out to see my job he was very professional / friendly, he took his time to answer all my questions and was thorough in explaining the job as a whole. Also giving me options that were available for the job. When the date was set Barry and his crew ( yes Barry was on the job site with tools in hand working alongside his crew. ) Barry went over the job details with each of crew so that everybody was on the same page. Day one they removed the old driveway / walkway and did the grade, day two the sub-base, rebar and forms were set, day three the concrete was poured there was nine people at this time, by 1:30 the driveway was complete. Throughout the day Barry was working and at the same time he making sure that the rest of his crew was doing their part of the job correctly. Barry's son Mike said that Barry is a perfectionist and will do certain parts of the job himself to be sure that it has the best possible outcome. Day four Mike came to remove the forms, the cleanup was very good each day worked. I had a small addition to the job the morning of the job start and Barry said that it would not be a problem. They did a fantastic job. First removing the old concrete. Then widening the forms for the new drive to accommodate 3 cars. Poured the new concrete, stamped a few areas for effect. Channeled the water flow away from the house. And as a bonus repaired a section of the sidewalk for me. Great job.
