My experience with August Roofing was great. I was impressed with the company's responsiveness to my request for a bid, their professionalism, the quality of their work, and the timeliness of the roof replacement. The crew cleaned up the site each day and completed the job within four days. I was very pleased.

They are very professional, efficient, prompt, and do what they say they will do. They were the only company able to fix an issue with our roof! The overall experience was very positive from the first phone call to the finished job!

Workers arrived on time and performed work as described in bid. Don't know for sure if leak is fixed since it has not rained since work completed.

They were quick and on time. Their price was reasonable. They were professional. I would use them in the future.

They came to me as a recommendation, which is the reason why I chose them. Their price was competitive. The technicians arrived on time and finished the work on time. They cleaned up after themselves. The quality of the roof is great. August Roofing did great work, and we’d use them again.

It was a few years ago, but the experience was very good. The technicians were very professional, and cleaned up every day during the process.

The work was done a few years ago, but I had to have another company come out and fix what they did and finish the work. They replaced the cracked tiles with the wrong colored tiles. There were also some other areas that they did not fix. I also thought August Roofing was pricey for what they did, since the other company’s price was lower. They never followed up with me, either.

They are fantastic to deal with! They’ve been super reliable, and I’m going to have them replace a roof for another home that I had just purchased. I live in Malibu, in a high wind area, and I have beams that come out of my home with copper protectors. Sometimes with the high winds, one of those protectors pops off, and they have come out to fix that over the years at no charge. I love them!

Overall, the experience was great. The technicians cleaned up everything and completed the job thoroughly within one day. I did some price comparison, and their price was great. They did a very good job. They also provide a warranty for the work. We are happy with their work, and I would definitely use their services again.

August Roofing, Inc was great. We ran into one problem during the process, but they made it right with no problems. We were very happy with them.

In 1997, they installed our roof when our home was built. Just recently, we had some leaking problems. The experience was horrible with August Roofing. The technician diagnosed our roof without even coming out to our home, and just came to the conclusion that we needed a full roof replacement. At one point, when he told us that a technician would be out to our home, he never showed up, and this happened twice. We hired somebody else.

The experience was great overall. The technicians were clean, professional, and courteous. We’ve had some pretty heavy rain, and the roof hasn’t leaked.

The work was done about 4 years ago, but it was good. Their price was very reasonable at that time. They installed a temporary patch on the roof during the rainy season, and that really saved us a lot, since it was leaking in the house at the time, and what they did stopped the leak. Overall, it was a good experience.

My roof has a few leaks, and I was looking to have it repaired before November. I called a couple roofing companies for estimates. Based on Angie's List review, I called August Roofing to schedule. Dave Bernstein from August Roofing was able to come to the house on Tuesday. Unfortunately it had started to drizzle a bit, Dave felt that it was unsafe to get on to the roof, and therefore only inspected the leaks from inside. I absolutely understand about the safety concerns, and agreed with him. He said that he would be able to come back to the house on his own, and give us feedback early the following week. In the meantime, another contractor thought it was safe, and was able to inspect the roof the same Tuesday afternoon. The other company also gave me an estimate that same day. A week passed, and I didn't hear back from Dave, so I called the following Monday to follow up. He said that he wasn't able to go out to the house all week, but would be able to go out there the next day (Tuesday), and will give us feedback after that. I was hoping to have all the estimates in so I can start the repair process before November when it's likely to rain. In the mean time, Tuesday came and went. Wednesday came and went. Nothing on Thursday, I called late Thursday to follow up again. Received a call back on Friday, Dave told me that he has not done the roof inspection yet, but said again like last time that he can do it the next day. He will be able to give me an estimate the following Tuesday, 2 weeks after the first visit. I declined at that point, I didn't want to delay the decision to wait for August Roofing, and I have lost faith that Dave will come out on the day that he said he would. I thought the experience was very unprofessional. My recommendation for August Roofing would be: 1. be upfront with scheduling difficulties. If you are very busy and your schedule is weeks out, be clear about that in the beginning, so the expectation on both August Roofing and customer's side are aligned. Worse, do not say you are going to do something by a certain day, and then not do them, not once, but twice. This is very unprofessional. 2. Better customer service with prompt customer follow up would be great. Even though August Roofing was not able to do the work he said he would, twice, I didn't get a call to reschedule. It was me, the customer, who have to call August Roofing twice to follow up, to find out the work was not done and have to be rescheduled.

I cannot say enough how about how highly I recommend August Roofing. I have had my new roof now for 3 years and it has changed our lives. The estimate was spot on. The materials were/are high quality. I am a person that prefers to spend a little more to get quality. August Roofing is definitely quality and the price was already comparable to other roofers in whom I had much less confidence. They truly back their work. One time that one of my copper protectors (don't know what to call them) popped off the beam as a result of the extremely high winds, Rob had one of the team come right out and make sure it was put back on properly. (No charge.) The insulation and the reflective white coating on the roof has reduced our need to use air conditioning vastly. In fact, from several weeks a year (we had no insulation to speak of), we now really only use the A/C maybe 7 days a year -- at the most.....I think the people at August Roofing are highly experienced, reliable, professional and enjoyable to deal with. I have recommended them to my neighbors who did a very simple repair job -- and they were happy as well. I love August Roofing!
