The entire project would have taken 3 days to complete if the roofing supply company had sent all of the required materials. We had to wait for the correct ridge caps to arrive. I ordered the best warranty available for the Certainteed products, which required the upgraded ridge caps. The roofing supply company did not have these in stock thus the delay. Everything was completed in three days except for the ridge caps. August roofing was very attentive to my questions and specific requests. They were very helpful in describing the process and options available. When I found a few minor problems, they responded with timely corrections. August roofing has a well deserved reputation for quality work. The city inspector even told me I chose wisely when hiring August roofing. He sees all different kinds of roofing jobs and told me August roofing always does top notch work.

Excellent company! The crew was on time, efficient and pleasant every day. No surprises, delays and disappointments through out the job duration. I strongly recommend them.

August Roofing came out and provided a good quote to put a new cool roof layer on our flat roof. I received quotes all over the place for this work with various scopes to fix the older roof. August came in and provided a good quote, honored an angies list coupon, and started work almost immediately. I can only assume that there are no problems, that is until it rains, but their reputation and warranty gives me very good piece of mind. Time will tell, but so far I can easily recommend them to anyone with roofing needs.

Four very friendly, knowledgeable guys turned up on time and got straight on with the work. They answered any questions I had and obviously knew what they were doing. They were efficient, wasted no time and left the roof and my yard cleaner than it was when they arrived! To my surprise they also painted the bright shiny metal pipe that the furnace guys had installed a few months ago so it now matches the roof - so much better. As usual Angies list came through.

From the very start it went seamlessly. The crew arrived as scheduled, tore off old shake roof, made a few repairs (dry rot), then proceeded with the reroofing. Beautiful job, crew always very informative if we had questions - they were polite, punctual and professional. The job site was cleaned up each day. It was a pleasure doing business with August Roofing and would highly recommend them.

Great job! Professional, courteous, polite staff. We had many damaged ceramic tile - that were shown to us by Daniel in his estimate. Several roofers came to the job, and never bothered to take photos of the damage, so this was much appreciated. Also the staff that did the installation were honest enough to alert us to some minor damage they caused, but Chris is taking care of this at no charge. Again, thanks!

Went well as scheduled. I was very pleased to find there was no longer a leak into my house when it rained last week. I would have preferred if they cleaned up a little better and the wood they repaired the roof with inside was primmed so it will have to be sanded before it can be stained to match the rest of the ceiling.

From the first phone call to the end of the project, August roofing delivered a great service. Estimator came within a couple days of initial phone call and was right on time for appointment. Crew showed up exactly as scheduled and completed the job in 2 days just as promised. We had our first rain (1/2 inch) of the season just 5 hours after the crew completed job and happy to report, no issues!!! I highly recommend August roofing. Great service and great price..

The good people of August Roofing, Inc. are very professional and got right down to business. Making arrangements for an estimate were fast and convenient. In no time Daniel was over taking a survey. Luckily we didn't need a new roof; but some much needed repairs were in order: reseal vent flashing and replace missing/damaged shingles among other things. As scheduled the crew came and from what I hear, was very efficient. They did a magnificent job! They knew exactly what to do. While I didn't have an opportunity to speak with them, the results spoke for themselves.

They did an outstanding job! To start, they came out, spent about an hour taking pictures of the roof with a digital camera, so they could show me what needed to be done, which gave me confidence. They told me that I didn't need the full roof replaced, but only the section that had been leaking (with a tune up for the rest). I asked for quotes for both the partial reset and the full roof replacement and they provided both quotes, but again said that I really didn't need the full roof redone. Their prices were within $100 of the lowest quote from the other companies that provided estimates and their guarantee was better. They came when they said they would, did everything they said they would, and left my yard and everywhere clean. My neighbor, who was home while they were working on my house, was so impressed watching them work, that he hired them as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

They were available rather quickly. I had them give me an estimate and they were very thorough. They went up on the roof and took photos for me so that I could see what needed to be done. Be cause this is a matter of can it be repaired or do I need a whole roof. I talked to the owner about scheduling and he was very helpful. in all ways they were very good. I would recommend them.

In 2001 the upper roof on our 10-unit condo building was replaced, and within a few years it was leaking badly. It is a 30' X 40' flat roof, but poor engineering of the roof meant that it was covered by a 1-2 inch pond over half its area. We couldn't just replace the roof because the structural problem would remain, and we would just have to reroof again, and pay for more damage to the unit inside. Unfortunately, the existence of two large air conditioning units, plumbing, and a parapet wall prevented us from doing resloping. We contacted over 30(!) roofers and general contractors for estimates and none could give us an affordable solution for elevating the air conditioners, dealing with the plumbing, and resloping the deck. August Roofing was the only company we could find with the ability to put the whole project together. In the end, they acted as general contractors, organizing the entire project which included air conditioning, water plumbing, wood construction, interior drywall and painting, guttering, sheet metal work, welding and installation of new access ladders. We were thrilled with the project from beginning to end, starting with an exceedingly detailed and fair estimate from Jeff Wunderlich, to excellent project management from the owner Chris Dyck and supervisor Javier Carillo. They were available every day for meeting and discussion over what turned out to be a full two-week project. I would recommend August Roofing without hesitation, and if one needs anything else besides a simple roofing job, they are the only company around.

Had to come back to do a more complete job, but they did so willingly and now it is perfect.

Had ARI install a roof on a new carport. As with my past experiences, they worked fast and got the job done on time. They are not only the best priced, but they are also the most reliable. Jeff is great at responding to calls and questions. I would recommend them to other people and plan on using them again in the future.

My experience overall went very well. I was very pleased with the work provided. The staff was very friendly and professional. They were also punctual and highly knowledgeable in their field. I would recommend this company to others.

Great, detailed proposal. Showed up when they said they would and completed the job same day. Overall quality was good (but we'll see how the leak repair goes this winter). Two issues that I shared with them after the job (and they didn't respond so I am sharing them here). 1) Be more clear that new facia board was not going to be painted, especially if you are putting new roof caps on top of it. Fortunately, I was home and saw they were putting up bare wood so I quickly painted it. 2) Let customers know that they should cover their bathroom fans. There was roof debris covering both bathrooms when they were done

They were very professional, they cleaned up every day, and they never left any debris or trash out. They came every single day until the roof was finished, they didn’t miss a day or go somewhere else and come back and finish. When they started, they stayed on the job the entire time until it was finished, which is rare. They did a really good job. They were actually almost our lowest bid but they gave more for a lower price. All the other companies were really outrageous, right off the bat, they were $18000 and August Roofing came in at $16000 and did a lot more. They really went out of their way to fix my leaky roof. They were wonderful.

We called August Roofing late Friday afternoon. Whoever answered the phone (sorry-didn't catch his name) took a message and stated he would have someone call Monday morning. Monday morning we received a call from Neal Berry, who said he could be here in 15 minutes. And he was! My husband thought for sure that we needed a new roof. Neal checked the roof thorougly and said it still looked very good - good enough for at least 10 more years! We really appreciate working with a company that is honest (hard to find) and trustworthy. We would never hesitate to call on them again and would recommend them highly!

They were excellent. They had an excellent crew working here. They were always upfront about what the cost. The cost increased about almost $4000 because when these homes were built, they were outside of the city limit so they weren't according to code so we had to re-plywood the whole roof along with tearing them off. They explained that that might happen in this particular kind of home which it did happen. They cleaned up. We had several things that we needed repaired when they left and they immediately came back and did it. It was great. I think they were the most expensive but I felt confident with them that I got what I paid for.

They were timely with their estimate, and explained what was going on very well. They were knowledgable and made communication easy. They responded to all my questions thoroughly and provided a comprehensive estimate and laid out what to expect from start to finish with pictures. Through the whole project, they were professional, and prompt. They finished on time and on budget. I am pleased with their work.

I had 4 companies come out for bids after going through the vendors on Angie's List. I read reviews and looked for companies in my area. I compared reviews, estimates and listened to what each rep. had to say. I was most comfortable with Jeff from August Roofing. He did a thorough estimate with pictures and drawings and gave me the choice of a repair or full roofing. He brought out shingle samples when I wasn't sure how the colors would look. Chris worked with me on scheduling which I had to change a couple of times. The crew they sent out was on time, very nice and professional. They took care of everything mentioned in the contract and did a good clean-up. The job looks really good and the guys were very patient with all of my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend them.

After this past winter's rains, it was apparent that my roof was leaking in multiple places. I was hoping to repair my roof and not have to replace it, but there was simply too much damage. I didn't know any roofers, so I joined Angie's List to find a reputable roofer in my area. I found August Roofing on Angie's List, and it was the first company I contacted. After several other estimates, I selected August Roofing because of the thorough proposal they presented and their fair estimate. August Roofing was the ONLY company that took extensive photos to show me exactly where the damage was located and why a complete re-roof was recommended. Once I signed the contract, the job went off without a single glitch. It was as perfect as an expensive home repair could be. The roof was replaced, the workers were courteous and careful, and the cleanup was exceptional. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs any kind of roofing work.

I selected 3 roofing contractors using Angies List to provide an estimate for a reroof job for my home. The reasons I chose August roofing is as follows: The Estimator/Salesman, Neal Berry, made several suggestion such as upgrading my roof utilizing a "Batten System" and adding 5 O'Hagen vents. Neal was very patient and answered all my questions for several days after his initial visit. The estimate he provided was very competitive with the other 2 contractors, (one was slightly over the August estimate and the third was way higher). The job was originally scheduled for April 9th, but Chris let me reschedule to the 16th because of a better weather window. My roof looks better now than when my house was built in 1984. The crew arrived on Monday morning and went right to work removing and stacking the concrete tiles, removed much of the old underlayment material and finally removing the rain gutters, and all the facia and shiplap with dry rot. The crew worked all day with a 1 hour lunch break and cleaned up around the house before they left for the day. Day 2 involved replacing all the facia, shiplap with newly painted materials and replacing the rain gutter. Once this had beeen done, they were onto the roof again, rolling out the 2 layers of underlayment, replacing all the metal flashing and painting it to match my roof tiles and initiated the installation of the wooden battens. The back side of the house was completed first with four newly installed vents, which were painted to match. Again, the crew was here on time and cleaned up after their work Day 3 involved more underlayment, battens and laying down the old concrete tiles with the installation of the final vent over the garage. The crew once again was on time early in the morning and cleaned up after they were finished for the day. The crew finished on day 4, completing the job in only 3 and 1/2 days. And to think, another contractor wanted 10 days to complete the same job. I can't say enough about the quality of work they did which is outstanding. Many thanks to the supervisor, Javier, but especially to Jose and the crew who did the work. They were willing to work with me each day, accommodating all the suggestions I had throughout the job. I really appreciate all their hard work each and everyday. And finally, August Roofing did not require any money upfront, like so many others. I called August when the job was completed to thank everyone and when I asked how I should pay, Javier said they would send me an invoice in the mail. I will definitely used August again and have already referred my next door neighbor to August for his roof job.
