The plumber arrived 2 hours late, and at the end of the work day. Without going into the crawl space to look at the leak, he explained that my pipes were damaged by a continuously running circulating pump, that there were probably multiple pinpoint leaks (probably in the walls) and that all the PEX piping would need to be replaced. He diagnosed this without looking at the leak, which had already been diagnosed by another plumber who was unavailable to do the job. I told him I was not going to repipe my kitchen and just needed a straightforward leak repaired (and for him to physically look at it). Furthermore, Acrown then reported this ‘diagnosis’ to my home warranty company resulting in denial of the repair claim.
