+ -1 morecame on time. I said how much he said depends on what has to be done- wont know til I get into it. I said give me a Not to exceed amount- he said $600. I said make it $500. When he finished he said $500 and I said seems like a lot shouldn't it be less (given the 2.25 hrs of time and no material I'm aware of except string.) He said $495 and I gave him $500. He is personable and know his business. I thought the price was way to high for the work completed. Future repair work from another vendor will inform whether I'm mistaken.
Description of Work: repaired chords on 6 Hunter Douglas blinds on-site in 2.25 hrs and charged $500.

+ 0 moreI had two duette blinds with many different parts-some strings pulled up and some down and there were different blinds attached to the same strings. Anyway, not your usual up and down with one string blind. I broke them and Gary Hartman, the owner of AA Mobile Blind, came out the same day I called him, but because they were so complex, he had to take them to his place to repair them. He did a great job and reinstalled them two days later. They are perfect now. It may sound like a lot of money to repair two blinds, but these two blinds were not your usual blinds.
Description of Work: Repaired two expensive and complicated blinds.
