I have always been very pleased with Pete's Plumbing's responsiveness and efficiency. I know that I can depend on them. They respond quickly to emergency situations and show up at the time they estimate they will come. They are always professional and courteous. They recently did a more extensive job for me and I was very happy with the work that was done. I believe their prices are very reasonable. Pete's Plumbing was recommended to me by neighbors after I had bad experiences with 2 other companies. I would now never call anyone else.

Due to incompetence of one of the plumbers it took numerous attempts to determine if there was a gas leak in the line. The first plumber determined there was no leak (three separate service calls). When city checked the meter it was determined a leak may be in the line. Pete's sent a second plumber who determined there were several leaks in our line and a quote of several thousand dollars. When I got a second opinion from another company, they found zero leaks and it passed the city inspection. Finally, Pete's charged me for all service calls even though it was the plumbers incompetence that required him to make several service calls.

It went very well. They office called to ask if they could come earlier than the appointment time, and two plumbers were sent out. They were very polite and helpful. The sink was fixed by tightening a loose connection. They thoroughly tested to be sure it was not leaking anymore. They removed some metal that was stuck in the garbage disposal. They showed me where the reset switch is located.

Pete's is a wonderful example of a local business that provides great service.

Pete's Plumbing was recommended to me by my neighbor. I had a clogged sewer line and was looking for a plumber that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg.... I spoke to a wonderful office representative named Rochelle. She was extremely nice and was able to accommodate sending someone out that day, she also quoted their price for doing the work over the phone. .very reasonable pricing. Around the time of my appointment It was pouring rain; however and I received a call from a representative of Pete's plumbing stating that due to safety reasons their technician would be out as soon as it stopped raining.. When their rep Joshua did come he was extremely friendly and professional. The job was completed in less than 1 hour. The whole experience definitely exceeded my expectations. I am a very happy customer of Pete's Plumbing.

The estimate was never performed but the reason I'm writing this review is to comment on the receptionist Pat who answered. Based on their reviews, I'm sure the plumbers themselves do good work and maybe that is why this receptionist was so cocky and believes that she can insult the intelligence of potential customers, and try to make them look like idiots because business is apparently so good at Pete's Plumbing. Having called 4 previous plumbers for estimates, I was pretty aware of how a job like this worked but Pat apparently thought she would educate me and tell me that Pete's Plumbing could dig up the concrete but we, the owners, would have to repave. After all, she explained, they were PLUMBERS (her emphasis) not construction workers. After a passive-aggressive back and forth from her that I will spare you, I decided to just to move on but the impression was set and long-lasting as evidenced by this delayed review. I went ahead with the other 4 plumbers who apparently are better connected with actual construction workers that could do the paving part, but I did make a point of letting them know, that they have a leg up on Pete's Plumbing because while the 4 other plumbing companies provide complete solutions to their customers, Pete's Plumbing will just dig up your concrete and leave you to repave yourself....

"NO BUBA's HERE!" either. Anthony showed up on time and completed the job and held to the estimate. He did an excellent job, and we'll be using them again.

The service went pretty well. This is a pretty good company and they are professional. They got it done and got out quickly.

Frank, Miguel and staff were incredible, efficient and performed over and above ... Many of the things they worked on we're in our 3 bathrooms, garage utility room ... And more. We have used Pete's Plumbing for 17 years. They are an awesome family business ... They care and do sterling work!

Technician was on time. Did a great job with new water lines, gas line, to code overflow line, all included in price quote. No surprises. My wife was so happy that she immediately added contact info for Pete's to her phone. We found our new plumber.

Excellent job ... very pleasant, efficient. Listens to each issue and writes everything down. Refurbishing home ... needed to update, repair and or install new faucets... Need proposal re: this work. Want 2 tankless water heaters, Frank, said a separate proposal needed ... need to expand on gas line, piping increase, to accommodate our needs. Proposal to follow. Proposal has been received and approved for all above work; need to coordinate with our Contractor .. 3 bathrooms, 1 utility room, and 2 tankless water heaters ... to commence in March. We will let you know how it goes. I can already tell you it will be great! We have used Pete's Plumbing since 1997 ... Love these guys. I really liked the resourcefullness. They did a fantastic job! We had a problem with a diverter in our guest bath/shower. Pete's came out and saw it was an unusual brand, bt somehow located the manufacturer, found out it was covered by warranty, got the parts and installed it for only $170. This was an amazing feat. Their attention to detail and attentiveness was amazing. They are our new go to plumber. Total trust.

We called at 8:15 am because our water heater was leaking at the bottom. An appointment was set up for next morning at 8. AT 3:30 they called and said they could come over now and they were here 15minutes later. Water heater had to be replaced, owner brought new one over within 15 minutes. It was installed with 2 earthquake restraints. They was completely done by 6pm. My husband was very impressed with the work Taylor did. Very professional. We will use again.

Pete's plumbers were on time and did a great job. We discussed cost saving options and they were very accommodating. The job was done within the time frame they set. Their plumbers were friendly, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again.

Appointment was first of the day (8am - 11am) and it took a while for the company to send out their service staff. I had to call at 8am to make sure they had not forgotten. Plumber took the time to explain the common causes of leaks. I had purchased the parts to replace the entire shower valve, but he only needed the charger. He advised that I could save a lot of money and that I should return the part, order only the part I needed and he would come back once the part had arrived. I wanted the leak fixed immediately and had to convince him that each day the leak continued was money down the drain and getting only the charger would take at least 2 weeks to arrive. He finally agreed and it only took 5 minutes to fix. I like that he explained everything well enough so that I can fix the leak myself should the problem return.

Smooth. These guys (They sent two!) were courteous and my wife said they were very nice and helpful, even sliding the washer and dryer into place.

It went great.............came out on time and did the work quickly and neatly. Very happy and would recommend them.

He worked on my three projects around 1 3/4 hours. He did a very professional and excellent job.

VERY PROFESSIONAL IN ATTITUDE AND QUALITY OF WORK.

While we were having our master bathroom redone - our contractor informed us that we had a small area of copper pipe that had split under our house and was leaking slowly. Our bathroom contractors told us that they could repair the copper pipe for $400.00. That price sounded high to us so we decided to get other bids for the repair. We called Pete's Plumbing on the Friday afternoon we were informed about the split pipe and they had someone out the following Monday. They examined the pipe and told us that they could come back later that same afternoon to repair the pipe for only $145.00 - almost 65% less than what our bathroom contractor, who was already on site, quoted us. We hired Pete's plumbing immediately and they came back, repaired the pipe and were as nice as any plumber we have EVER worked with! Later that week our recirculating hot water pump began to make loud squealing noises. We unplugged it and called Pete's again. They came out the day after we called them and they informed us that it was a simple issue of air being in the line and that our bathroom contractors had clearly not been turning off the pump when they had to turn the water off. They didn't even charge us for this short visit! If you want excellent customer service at a fair and honest price look no further than Pete's Plumbing - we would definitely use them again for any plumbing issues we have with our 1950's California ranch style home. Pete's Plumbing is simply the best plumbers we have ever worked with in the Long Beach area!

I have hired Pete's Pumbing twice. The first time I had a leak in the bathtub. they came out, were very pleasant and fixed it at a reasonable price (under $100). The second time I had a leak in the kitchen sink. That sink has a designer faucet--not unheard of, but not the standard either. The plumber came twice and ended up saying that he couldn't fix the leak, that everything was calcified into place, and that we should just get a new faucet (an expensive prospect). We had directions on how to replace the part from the manufacturer, but he tried to do it another way with the wrong tools, and with no success. I paid about $75.00 without getting any closer to fixing the leak. I finally hired another plumber who fixed the problem with the existing faucet in place. So if you have a simple problem these guys are pleasant and will probably be fine. For something more complicated I'll probably go elsewhere in future.

Pete's plumbers always are prompt, courteous, very professional, very knowledgeable, and polite. They work efficiently and get the job done. I've used them for several years and will continue to use them as needed.

From start to finish all worked out as planned, the technician went under my house and installed the water line and hooked it up to our new refrigerator. Literally, they were in and out within 2 hours.
