Great. They were very friendly, super efficient, and very careful with my piano. The receptionist that took my call for the appointment was just...average, maybe lacking in friendliness a smidgen. But the movers were aces. They can totally carry a friendly conversation while they exercise the greatest of care in navigating corners and stairs with your piano.

My experience could not have been better. On the day of the move they called me in the morning with a two-hour window of when I should expect them and then followed up with another call 30 minutes before actual arrival. Two very friendly and professional guys moved the piano onto their truck within minutes. The instrument was properly strapped to the truck using blankets to pad the straps. Minutes later at our house, the same smooth operation in reverse. The move presented no challenges as there were only a couple of porch steps to negotiate. Among the quotes I received from other top-rated piano movers ($368 and $183, respectively) P&O's was clearly the most competitive, so I was prepared for no more than average performance. Yet with no reservations, this was absolutely stellar service. This and the affordable price made all the difference in my tip! Thank you!

Because I am moving and have not yet finalized a new home for my piano, I called P&O to pick up and store my upright piano. Nichol in their office was very efficient and friendly and made everything very easy. She called to confirm the time window for pick up and then called again to say they were on their way. Excellent customer service The movers were so fast and efficient, they had my piano loaded in just a few minutes! I am also using them for storage - they have a temperature controlled facility - and will contact them for delivery to it's new home Overall, outstanding service - great company to deal with - highly recommend!

Everything went well! The price was great and the service excellent. They are very fair about stair pricing as our piano came from a home that had over 20 stairs in front. I highly recommend!

The house was built into a hill and it was difficult to move the piano from the basement to the truck. There was heavy landscaping in front and a lot of stairs so they had to move it up a hill and out a rear gate to the street above. It was not easy and many times they slipped in the dirt and had to readjust. The staff was very professional and I would use their services again.

I called to get an estimate on a Friday. The estimate was very reasonable, so I schedule the move for the following day. Nicole ,who was the only person I spoke to, told me she would call me around 8am on the day of delivery to give me a delivery window. At 8:10am I get her phone call and we agree on a delivery window. The Piano arrived about 20 minutes after the window started. We then figured out the best way to get it into my family room. Within 5 minutes the Piano was in its place. The two movers were prompt, courteous and professional. I would definitely use them again.

It went fairly well. I had the same scheduling experience as a previous reviewer- they called to give me an estimated time of pickup the day of the move, which wound up being 20 minutes from the time they called. So unfortunately, I had to scramble to get to the origin address and got there after they'd already left. Then I scrambled to get back to my house and they were standing there waiting for me. That part was stressful. However; the woman I spoke with on the phone was sweet and helpful, the movers were incredibly efficient, and the price was great. I would give them an A- if that were an option.

They would not give us an exact pickup time but said they would call us at 8am that morning. They starting calling at 7:30, called us 6 times between 7:30-8am. We called them at 8:10 and were told the drivers would be at the place to pick up our piano between 8:45-9:30 so we left to meet them there. They called again at 8:35 and said they were waiting but no one was there to unlock the gate so they were leaving. We told them it was not yet even 8:45 and we would be there by that time to open the gate. The dispatcher was simply rude and said the drivers could not wait and we could reschedule in two days time. We told her this is not how a professional business runs, calling us early, arriving early, and not even waiting until the time they told us they would be there at. Very lame, very rude, very unprofessional. They called back the next day to ask when we'd like to reschedule. Ha, like we'd want to go through that ordeal a second time. A friend who has used Pand L said that they've only dealt with the two male owners. We dealt with a rather uninformed girl who caused us time and gas and a big headache. We went with the company we'd used before, Paco's Piano Movers, (562) 861-1905. We should have used them from the beginning but Pand O had a better rate. We were so impressed with Paco's last time we used them to move both a grand piano and an organ, with their service and flexibility, but thought a savings of $30 would be worthy trying someone new. Boy, was I wrong. Paco's gave us specific information and times and called us to keep us informed. This is the 2nd time we have used Paco's Piano Movers and they are professional, flexible and very nice. The move took longer than expected and we were so happy with their attitudes that we voluntarily paid them extra. Good service should be awarded. Sorry we can't say the same for Pand L.

We needed a grand piano moved because our house was being carpeted. We received a phone call the morning of the move to let us know what time they would arrive. They were punctual and polite. We were impressed with how quickly they moved the piano and how careful they were. The following week they returned to move the piano back on top of the carpet, and again, they did an outstanding job. We were very impressed with the communication of the office staff and with the care of the movers.

Professional and prompt. I loved using these guys. (I believe) Jake and Ray were just a little quiet but opened up once we were moving. Both are sweet and genteel. Customer service and company's accommodations to emergencies: I had a last minute moving situation where my storage unit's lease was up on the 20th and I needed to move my (5ft) antique baby grand piano from storage into my apartment. After having a cancellation issue with the last mover, I found that there wasn't any "Hey! It's Saturday, so we're going to have to bump up the price a little since its our busiest day." No hidden fees and upfront.. Piano Type: The piano was a baby grand and an antique Henry F. Miller 1938, weighing a little over 400lbs. I got quoted at a flat rate of $143.00 to move it into my garage from the unit, about 6-7 miles away. Payment: Pay in either cash or personal check. One thing you may want to know: The only thing is they give you your rate based off of your starting point and destination's zipcode. Their base is the Signal Hill area, so they tend to lean towards local jobs. If your zip code fluctuates the prices may vary a little but not by much, maybe $15 or so depending. Care: I wasn't worried a bit. They were very careful. Experienced, timely, made things comfortable and were considerate. Quality piano movers. Procedure: I was given a call the previous day to let me know the mover's time frame. After the schedule is in stone, they give you a 2 hour window. I had a first call from Deanna, the secretary, at 8am letting me know it'd be about 8:45-10:45am. This was a nice a considerate option; she asked if I wanted a 30 minute reminder. So Deanna also called me 30 minutes prior to their arrival so I could leave the apartment to meet then without waiting. Worked perfectly. After I paid, they gave me a receipt to sign off on and gave me a carbon copy. Stairs: This was a big one for me. When I inquired about future services, such as moving it upstairs into my apartment(16 steps), I was quoted for $28.00 for every 7 steps. When I called affordable piano movers, I was informed it would be $15.00 per step..a little steep much? .. I'll let you do the math. Overall, transition and transaction were an easy, pleasant experience. I highly recommend using them.

The movers were polite and professional. There were special circumstances which required a timed move, which is unusual. I was very happy they could make it work. The office staff was very helpful and accommodating. It all went very well until the delivery, where they deviated from the apartment move-in instructions. Overall, the experience was a good one. The piano arrived in good shape and I would use P and O again.

They came back specifically to fix something. I noticed that the thing that goes over the keys did not go all the way down and they were going out to the truck. They came back in, looked at a part and removed a pencil-like thing and some other things. It obviously was not their fault, but they still did it. They did not charge me anything extra for it. They were very helpful. Theirs was the only price I got, so I don't really know whether it was good or not. However, I had an excellent experience with them. I would highly recommend them.
