We just had Mark come out today.FANTASTIC! Let me step back a bit before sing LBHAC praises. We had a whole house remodel done. It included some duct redirects. We were not getting any air from vents we used to gets icicles from. So, we contacted another company. They climbed in the attic and determined the ducts were all just really old. Did not see any issues beyond age. They tested the A/C Unit and reported that due to it's age, we should probably think about replacement. Bottom line, new 4 ton A/C Unit plus all new duct work, $11,500. Fast forward to today. Mark from LBHAC came by. Went into the attic, came down and reported that one of the ducts went nowhere. Well, actually, it was keeping the attic nice a cool... Result? Mark sealed off the duct and now we have much cooler air in the house. He also checked out and replaced a filter. He looked at the A/C Unit and found it to be from Kohler. Very highly rated and generally not found in residential use. No issues with the A/C Unit at all. We will definitely use LBHAC again!

Three years ago we bought a new central heating system. The old one was very inefficient. We kept the ac unit because Tom indicated it had quite a few years left on it. I was so impressed by the service I received from both the workers and office staff. I purchased a three year maintenance agreement. I usually do not bother with this kind of option but I am sure glad I did. The office staff calls to remind me that it is time for the unit to be checked. This include cleaning the filter which is quite necessary. I mentioned to the tech that my large TV room does not get warm or cold as some of the bedrooms. He suggested I call and set up a appointment to have my dampers adjusted. Tech came right on schedule and spent some time doing the adjustments. He also mention I may be having an electrical problem with a junction box up in the attic. He suggested I call an electrician to check the safety hazard. I haven't had a need to check the adjustments made on the dampers. But I'm sure it will make a difference in the efficiency of my system.

My old furnace fan was making ugly noises, so I called LBHA to come out. They were so booked that they could not come until 6 days later. The furnace was quite old, and the fan was worn and wobbling, but more importantly they found that there was a crack in the heat exchanger. So, I needed a new furnace. Again, because they were heavily booked, and had to order the new equipment, the work could not be done until a week later. However, they were right on time for both appointments, and did an excellent job of installing the new furnace. The new one had a larger footprint, but was not nearly as tall, as the old one, so they had to do some cutting into the floor, and build up venting on top, for it to fit properly. They did a really nice job of both. They also rewired my programmable thermostat, to make the fan phases work more efficiently. They made sure everything was working correctly before they finished. They were neat, careful not to ding the walls when moving the furnaces, and cleaned up their work area when done. I will definitely use them in the future.

AC installation. Not a straightforward job either, because it was a new installation that had to be configured with my hydronic furnace (something you rarely see). The vast majority of HVAC guys I contacted didn't even know how to install an air conditioner that would work with a hydronic furnace and air handler. Not only did they do the job well, they did it for the best price. I especially want to give a shout out to their employee Mark, who went the extra mile by saving my drywall - instead of knocking out closet drywall to fix a broken air tube - Mark crawled up a very tiny space and was able to connect it without cutting open my wall. He was also extremely knowledgeable in everything. Highly recommend!

Everything went well. Very responsive and flexible/ accommodating. I would use them again in the future.

The heater in our new home was always iffy; the inducer on the motor was noted to be 'bad' by the inspector. However, with some fiddling we got it to work enough to get through the first year. After a year, it died completely. I recalled that LBHA did a reasonable job with the air conditioner install, so I called them. A tech came out and confirmed the motor was bad, and then we were sent a quote - for $570 + $80 for their agreement that the motor was bad. Note that we *already* knew the motor was bad - this $80 was just for the pleasure of them coming out to do business with us. I initially agreed to the price, and then I looked up the part on Amazon Prime. There it was for $180, free shipping. I then found a Youtube video showing how to install the item - the video was about ten minutes long (meaning, it is not a big deal). So I ordered the item and fixed it myself. I am not very mechanically inclined, and I have never worked on a heater before. With this non-knowledge, and armed with the helpful Youtube video, I was able to install this part in about 30 minutes. Thirty minutes - by someone with no experience! This company wanted to charge me a total of $650 for the trivial installation of a part that costs a fraction of that. This is beyond greedy. If I - someone who knows nothing - can buy a part for $180 and install it myself in 30 minutes, then professional company should be ashamed to quote this much money. They are now hounding me for the $80 "inspection" fee, where they did not tell me a single thing that I did not already know. I *knew* the motor was bad - it was on the home inspection report. This is definitely a bad company that is looking to prey upon consumers, and will try to bully you with fees and overpriced service. Do not use them, and look to do the work yourself or by someone more legitimate - doing so will save you a lot of money.

I was happy with their service. I would use them again if I need other conditioning service.

They came out to inspect after tenants reported a gas leak in existing floor heater. Evaluated existing system. Proposed replacement. Installed replacement within a matter of days. Our experience is that they are always quick, friendly, communicative.

It went great. They came on time, completed the work in a day, checked a few things that were not even on the estimate. Even replaced the Freon in my AC. They were wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone!

The service and installation went great! Tom was helpful through the entire process including scheduling the permit inspection. Crew was fairly prompt (arrived at the very end of the arrival window), but they were professional and got the work completed correctly and quickly.

They give really good service. We live in a condo and it has an old air conditioning system. They are very knowledgeable and they are always able to fix it. They do not just need to buy a new one. They give honest service.

I told them to order the board and make sure the control board was compatible with my system. Then again on the phone told them make sure it is compatible. Upon the technicians second visit, he replaced the board, but it was not compatible. I had him put the old ones back on. After going back into met attic where the work was performed, I find out he put the wires back in but in a way where I could not put the board covers back on and found that he had cut into the ducting to inspect the damper, but he never re-sealed the duct work. At this point I am done with this company. They had the nerve to send me a bill for the second visit, I kindly told them NO. Feb 2015 they are still trying to bill me for incompetent work.

Would have use them in a heartbeat had they been able to fit me in!

They did an excellent job. The installer was very professional and pleasant. He explained to me everything he was doing and what improvements he made over the previous ac. He Tested the unit and took temps of air going into and out of the system. The installer was very knowledgable and felt he was very honest with me. Also the young lady who made the phone calls and communicated with me was always pleasant and professional.

I sent message on 5/30. No response. Went with another company.

Called Long Beach heating and A/C because the fan on my outside compressor unit was failing. The two Gals I talked to were very pleasant and professional and made sure all my special requests were taken care of. They explained that they are very busy but set an appointment for them to come over in about a week. Which seemed reasonable since the weather is getting warmer and I am sure everyone wants their A/C working. Kristopher showed up and and I explained the problem. He went right to work and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He explained my options and replaced the faulty Capacitor. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He replaced the part and had the unit together in no time. I turned on the A/C and and it was blowing cold air in a few seconds. I am very satisfied with the work preformed and would recommend Long Beach A/C to anyone.

We used them twice. They were very good and punctual. they didn't leave a mess and were very professional.

Everything was done to my complete satisfaction.

Tom came out and evaluated the project and helped me decide it was not cost effective. A very Christian man. Would use him if I needed to another time.

These guys were great. Tom White explained everything thoroughly during initial consultation. The installers arrived on time, worked efficiently and their cleanup was above and beyond any I've ever seen done. They vacuumed up all debris in the home, even painted part of the door jam to the furnace area where a foot print had been left. Coordinated for HERS rater to come out and for city inspector to come out.

Inspected and diagnosed an air conditioner that would come on. Arrived on time found the problem...a fuse & did a summer clean out. Easy peasy.. These folks are a land lords best friend.

I got this company from Angie's List and I had a positive experience dealing with them. They adjusted things that I thought about that I may have needed there. They did a great job and I was really impressed. They did it in two days and everything was left clean.They didn't try to sell me anything more than I needed.

Business receptionist was very helpful and concerned. Contacted service person in the field immediately. Service person was very professional, punctual, was able to repair and get the heater going in less than an hour. Offered to replace the filter at cost of filter so that owner would not have to go out and purchase and install the filter. Very pleased with the service and will definitely use this company again when the need arises.
