He was really good about looking at the work every day and if it needed fixed, he tore it apart and did fixed it himself. I felt he was very honest, very professional, and he did really good work. If he was going to be running late, he always called; he kept us in the loop which is very good. If my husband came home from work and saw something he didn’t like or it wasn’t what we wanted, he would call Carlos on the phone and tell him about it and Carlos would come out the next day to correct it. Any changes that we wanted made, he always made them. We redesigned some things a little bit. When he tiles walls, he usually starts on the bottom and goes to the top. On the top there is often a smaller piece of tile because you have to fit all the tiles on the wall. We wanted it reversed; we wanted the bigger tiles on the top and if there had to be cut tiles, we wanted them on the bottom so it looked like a tile border trim, the same as you would have the bathroom because you had to have baseboard tiles. It came out just right. It looked like he ran the baseboard tile through the shower, too. That was our own personal preference and he said yes, he could do that. We discussed where we wanted the cutout for the soap and he was very accommodating. He really did accommodate all our needs and all our changes. We really appreciated it. Every day when he left, he cleaned up after himself so everything was nice and neat; there wasn’t a gigantic mess in our house. When they left on the last, it was just as cleaned up as it was the day they came. He always hauled off all the trash and they were really good about picking up.
