It went great. A refrigeration problem was quickly diagnosed and taken care of in an efficient manner. The technician, Quentin, carefully explained the problem and with my ok fixed the leak in no time.

I contacted this provider to find out about our schedule for service. The provider completely forgot about my service request. Then gave me attitude about my complaints. Very unprofessional and I will not contact them again!

It was Labor Day weekend when the AC went out. Temperatures broke 100 and continued into the week. Everyone was booked as people were in a panic. We wanted AAACalvert because their reviews were so great. Even though they were book solid for the week, they asked Jason to come out Tuesday evening. Turned out the repair was different than we thought, messier in some ways, but easier on others. Jason had to return in the middle of an over-packed day to complete repair. We are expecting our fifth day of over 100 temps and our AC is working perfectly. AAACalvert and Jason went above and beyond. My wife had been ill from the heat for two days. Now she's comfortable again and happy. They didn't need to fit us in but they did. Jason didn't need to work a fourteen hour day, but he did. We are very grateful.

We used AAA Calvert's services in the past and looked to them to follow-up with repairing a variety of electrical and HVAC issues. AAA Calvert completed the job in approximately three days. Initially, TJ, the owner, and Tom, the HVAC manager, came out to provide candid feedback and estimates on each phase of the project. Lauri and Leonanna worked to fit our project around their own and our tight schedule. They also coordinated all permits with the city and other entities. After receiving a fair proposal, Jason led the HVAC team supported by Quentin, Adam and Jeff. All four employees were professional, personable, and thorough in explaining the installation and addressed our questions and concerns as the process shifted. Specifically during vent and duct installation, Adam carefully explained the task and skillfully cut through exposed wood beams and ceilings to seamlessly install vents without damaging the wood ceiling in our family room. Jason remained onsite until the equipment functioned properly, explained the new system, the company's annual services, and made himself available should issues arise after the installation. After setting the HVAC equipment, Eddie led the electrical team supported by Manny and Taylor. All three employees were professional, personable and flexible in working around a variety of obstacles, specifically other sub-contractors hired to repair other issues. Eddie took time to follow-up and returned to correct some minor cosmetic issues. Moreover, Eddie matched our roof color from a mobile phone photo we sent to him to find a paint color to blend exposed conduit to our home's roof color. As a result and much to our surprise, the painted conduit blended to the existing roof color. When the work was completed, the HERS inspector commented on the company's excellent reputation specifically highlighting their quality, professionalism and craftsmanship. Regarding the city inspection, Quentin met with the city inspector, expedited the process by ensuring each circuit was properly labelled, the HVAC regulations were met, and walked the inspector through each phase of repairs with minimal or no issues. In retrospect, the hiring practices of AAA Calvert is impressive because the employees mentioned above worked together under a short window to complete the job. No one showed any signs of stress during the project, especially as the job changed daily by our own guidance. We highly recommend AAA Calvert for electrical and HVAC needs. They are a well-run company from top to bottom. They are honest, fair and each employee takes pride in their work to support the other's expertise.

The technician was very knowledgeable with my older heater and found that a mercury switch was locked in the wrong position. Resetting it and the thermostats shut off the fan and all is OK now,

They probably could have recommended service that would have cost a bunch of money but they were honest. That goes a long long way in my book.

They are an amazing company.....called at 4:15pm on a Fri not knowing when I might get an appointment......Although I was scheduled for following Mon (fantastic) a technician who was just leaving for the day said he would stop by. By 5:00pm my problem was resolved. This is my 3rd time using this great provider and highly recommend them!i

I contacted them on Thursday - they happened to be installing a new furnace next door. My thermostat suddenly stopped working. Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and efficient. After a little disappointment when told they would not be able to get the man in charge out until Monday, I was able to have Quentin come over and diagnose the problem. At the same time, I received a call back from the office letting me know that they could get out that day. Everyone seemed to make an extra effort to help get it done! A simple part replacement and I was up and running. Thanks to all - Leona, TJ, Adam, Jeff and Quentin. Good work!

I love this company. I only wished that they had weekend hours, but what are you gonna do? My electricity went out in my bathroom and second bedroom. I checked the breaker box. No, everything was fine there. Then I thought it was the bulbs. Well after changing them they still wouldn't come on. Now I am perplexed. I e-mailed Lauri of the company, they telephoned saying that they would try and get someone to come on Monday, but they were booked to capacity. She called back saying that someone would be out the following day. Well Eddie and Manny to the rescue..... I now have lights and when it is time to redo the entire electrical work, guess who I will be giving a call to? How did the people make it with out lights before?

I had called AAA Calvert for a second opinion. The first company to inspect my unit was called A-Ames. They told me my fan motor was shot and needed to be replaced. The discounted cost to replace it was going to be $670. For some reason, that did not sound right to me. So, I called AAA Calvert. They came and the technician unscrewed the top of the unit. Gave it a good inspection and told me the other gentleman was incorrect and that he most likely did not fully inspect it. Issue was an $18 capacitor and blown fuse. That was it! He replaced them and AC is working perfect! Thanks AAA Calvert for saving me over $600!

Make sure you ask for Tom. He is an experienced technican and figured out what was wrong right away. He fixed it and was very nice and helpful.

After unsuccessfully trying to get my usual go-to a/c repair company to come out after my a/c failed, I called AAA Calvert Electrical, Heating and Air. Very glad I found them through Angie's List. They were able to come out the day I called. Very professional company from the women who took the call, scheduled the appointment, and the technicians who came out and did the repairs. The technicians explained the problem, what needed to be done and made repairs quickly. Really appreciated that they were able to work me in their busy schedule. Will definitely use them again.

They know what they are doing. They do quality work. On the cost, we agreed to and there are no surprises.

Excellent!! Best price by far compared to 5 other companies. Let me tell you, I have dealt with a lot of contractors in my home and these guys are at the top of my list so far. I had about 6 different AC installers give me quotes on 4 and 5 zone mini split systems. I was quoted between 9,300 and 16,800 for 4 zone systems. I looked at Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, and one other I can't remember (starts with a C). Anyways the prices were all over the map as you can see. This almost felt too good to be true. Not only was AAA Calvert the least expensive, they were local, could start and finish during the only week I had available, and they were by far the kindest and easiest to work with. Laurie is the head receptionist I think and she is super nice! every time I call she sounds so kind and happy to help me out. Excellent job. everyone I spoke to on the phone over there was so nice to me and did everything they could to help me with my concerns and questions. so the work. The guys were right on time every single day. They put down drop cloths inside no matter how big the job was and didn't leave a grain of residue behind. There were 4 or 5 guys working on the install, all of them were very kind and considerate. Mike is the head installer (I think) he was working on the main condenser outside and did a fantastic job running all the lines to the main unit. It looks real clean. Each air unit was placed exactly where I asked and they work perfect. All the holes in the walls that were used to run the refrigerant lines were filled with insulation and patched inside and out to match the surrounding material. i.e. stucco and drywall mud. After they were done they cleaned up the back yard, hauled everything away. it was like they were never there. Today I had a question about one of the air handlers and they sent out one of the installers the same day to come and talk to me and answer my questions. I was shocked, same day! I couldn't ask for better service. So I am not sure if my experience with AAA Calvert is overly positive b/c I have been burned by so many contractors in the past... It really doesn't matter. The point is these guys were the cheapest, the nicest (by far!!!!!!) and I now have a brand new 4 zone Fujitsu mini split that looks and work great! I couldn't be happier. oh, they put in the new designer air handlers and no additional cost to me. They are more expensive BTW.

My AC spontaneously stopped in the middle of a heat wave. I called a few electricians, and AAA Calvert were available the soonest. They arrived on time, and did there were quickly and well. I asked them if they could update my very old thermostat, and they were able to do it right then and there. That too, was done quickly, and well. However, I thought it was a bit expensive, but they did tell me the cost before they did it. All in all I was pleased. My AC is still working, and the thermostat is easy to program.

Excellent company to work with. Very responsive to our requests, they brought a crew of 5 and they were all very professional and courteous. There costs were competitive. I would highly recommend them.

We really love this company and its family owned. They are personable they do extra things like if my cats escapes out the door they will go out in get him. They are really friendly and easy going. They are vey professional and honest, they wont do work that's it is not necessary. They say if you clomp your work together is cheaper then if you do break it up in separate visits. They are reasonable prices, very honest just really good people. They do except credit cards and I trust them that they wont rip us off.

Our cross-country move to Long Beach led to the purchase of a house needing some inspection identified repairs. My Angie's list inquiry was answered fully and promptly. Leona and Lauri ensured that they understood our needs and scheduling was flawless. The HVAC tech, Tom was great. He explained what he was doing and identified a very obvious installation error and rectified it .he was quick and efficient. I did not hesitate to hire the electricians as a result. Lauri requested the report to again ensure clarity regarding scope. TJ then contacted me and identified costly report observations that were frankly overkill and of little value. Eddie and Dean handled the critical electrical work with the same level of professionalism, efficiency and integrity. Better yet the cost of the repairs was very fair. I can gladly say that I foresee a relationship with this company for any of our future HVAC or electrical needs. They certainly live up to their AAA moniker.

My wife smelled something burning in the kitchen. I thought it might be a outlet, so I called AAA Calvert . . . on a Friday LATE AFTERNOON. No problem, they came right out, figured out that the smell was coming from the refrigerator motor (that's another story) and even fixed a few other things I had issues with. AND I got my Angie's List 10% discount. I would call AAA Calvert again, in an instant.

Tom Gardner was on-time, polite, professional, and he charged a fair rate. Would use again.

service was great; they are extemely easy to work with. Electrical codes were checked for L A city before work was even started. They had everything as required making it easy for the inspector and us.

They were excellent, prompt and arrive on time like they said they would. They actually squeezed me in their already booked schedule which I appreciated.

They were very honest and thorough and very reasonably priced and came out the next day. They told her they did not need to replace the heater which she was told may have to happen and replaced a few parts and cleaned out all of the pipes up through the roof. I am going to call them to work on my heater, thats how satisfied she was.

Michael and Adam were on time, early in the 2 hour window I was given. They inspected the housing, gas connections, , burners, and CO levels, and were efficient in doing so. They confirmed that, though old, the unit was still sound and did not need to be repaired or replaced, the hoped-for result.

They were here right on time, the work was great. They were terrific. I will use them again.
