The service from AAA Calvert was excellent from the first phone call to the end of the work! We live 350 miles from a rental home that we own in Long Beach, California. Our renters called us to inform us that the widnow air conditioner was not longer working. This window unit was 1970s vintage unit and was one of the last things we needed to replace in the house. We called it "Dinosaur". Our problem was to get the old unit replaced with a new unit that would fit into the slot made in the wall for the old unit and that was energy efficient. This is not an easy process when you live 350 miles away. That's where AAA Calvert was excellent! They checked the old unit, ordered a new unit and installed it without us being there! The work was done professionally at a fair price. They coordinated their visits with our current renter and everything went smoothly. It is a pleasure to work with a company that is excellent in every area! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

When the heater alarm went off, I looked up heating and cooling services and found AAA Calvert. I called for service and was treated with professionalism and courtesy. Laurie was very friendly and helpful and scheduled an appointment with me. The technician came exactly on time and was courteous. He asked a lot a questions and checked the whole unit over to determine the problem, including climbing onto the roof to check the fan. He offered to install clean filters for me if I had them and got two from his truck when I didn't. He was finished within an hour. I received a discount as an Angie's List member.

As with my experience with the wonderful Tri-Split A/C - heating system that AAA/Calvert installed earlier, they did a PERFECT job with all of the electrical work that followed. The house was old and neglected for decades and I needed to know that it had been made safe (from electrical fires) and made usable, in this century, considering how many things there are to be plugged in to outlets these days. T.J. and Eddie (and you can be sure that anyone else with AAA) were so knowledgeable that they actually saved me money with better ideas about what was available to fix various problems and how to make this place more comfortable to live in in general. I was very appreciative that T.J. remembered, over the months of planning until the time that I was ready to have the work done, that some new physical disabilities that I am experiencing make it important for lighting to be set up in special way. I need to be able to control the lighting throughout the house, from room to room, so that I am never having to navigate across a room in the dark and then grope for a light switch. He never forgot to keep this in mind as he planned the least expensive way for me to have all of the electrical work done. They have never left a mess for me to clean up, which is consistent with their extremely respectful attitude about their clients AAA is still the most accessible company that I worked with during this fixer-upper house project in terms of how quickly they respond to any request or question, and you will almost always get a live human on the phone when you call!! Leonna and Lauri are a big part of what makes the AAA experience perfect. I can't say enough about them either!! I was very happy with the cost of all of the work that AAA did and have been very happy having lived with and used all of the outlets, fixtures, phone jacks, etc. for a few months now. My only disappointment is the fact that AAA isn't a general contractor, so that I could have used them for the many other types of work that had do be done at this house. If they had been the only company that I had worked with through this renovation, it would have been a MUCH better experience for me. They have definitely been a wonderful little shining light throughout this stressful renovation.

I called AAA Calvert and spoke to Leanna - she was very professional and friendly. We set-up a date for TJ (the owner) to come over and talk with us about our concerns. TJ was professional, showed up on time and was very easy to talk to. We decided that we wanted AAA Calvert to work on our home (built in 1948). Eddie, the electrician, did an excellent job!!! STOP LOOK NO FURTHER...this company and it's employees know about customer sevice and perform quality work. I am going to recommend them to my friends and neighbors!!

We needed a repair next day and they were able to do it!

Eddie from AAA Calver showed up and looked at the entire system and realized it was a breaker issue.

Called company explained problem with house electrical. Leanna troubleshooted over phone - her suggestion worked. I then called back to ask another ? and spoke with electrician ,TJ, who suggested; "the problem sounds like edison issue." I called SCE they came out. Sure enough the problem was on their end. End result: problem fixed, no cost to me (and I'm not worried the house is going to catch on fire).

I can't say enough about this company, the way I was treated, and the quality of the work. I was able to have the equivalent of regular central air conditioning and heating installed in a house that I will be moving to soon due to this company's willingness to allow me to make payments. (also, the Mini-Split system is apparently a best kept secret in the air conditioning world, and it's probably half the price of regular central A/C). If you have been putting off installing air conditioning due to the expense of it, you need to call this company about Mini-Split systems. This company is a perfect combination of small enough to be warm and very human, but professional enough and experienced enough to handle any work. The installation took only one day, for all three rooms. The crew left the house so clean that I couldn't tell that they had been there until I saw the newly installed A/C unit on the wall. Tom is the main A/C expert and T.J. is the expert electrician. The office staff is amazing and everyone on the team is very responsive. You never have to wait for a call back request. There are no surprises with the estimate and what you actually pay. During the time that I have been associated with AAA/ Calvert, I have referred them to 3 friends who needed either air conditioning or electrical help and everyone was every bit as happy as I was with this company. If you have had nightmare experiences with any home-related work in the past, this company will restore your faith in people!

When I called Calvert Electrical I spoke to a very informative and friendly receptionist who immediately scheduled an appointment to check out my electrical problem. One room in my house did not have any electrical power in the outlets or switches. Two repairmen, Mike and Eddie, arrived on the scheduled date at the appointed time and checked out my circuit breaker box to determine if there was a defective breaker causing the problem. I had already attempted to turn the breakers on and off myself prior to the service call to make sure that one was not tripped. My efforts did have any effect in the outage. They showed me that there was another set of breakers on the side of the main panel which they checked and found that a breaker there was tripped. They flipped the correct breaker switch and voile', the power returned to my home. I wasn't aware of these additional breaker switches which now I can check myself if I ever have that problem again. The servicemen were courteous and professional and I was very happy with the outcome.

They are incredibly wonderful. He was on time. He was clean. He was quick and efficient. I m getting ready to use them again for a bigger and much more expensive electrical project.

My roof was leaking at the vent pipe and I wanted to fix it before the next storm hit. I was very impressed with their service. This company unlike others were interested in doing the job. They showed up on time and were very polite and professional.
