AAA Calvert Electrical, Heating & Air Conditioning

My elderly tenant was without heat during a particularly cold spell. I called AAA Calvert late evening on a Friday and TJ made time the next day to come out and address it. It was a tough job to access the old wall unit, diagnose the problem and fix it. I believe others would not have persevered, but TJ made sure he got the job done so this woman would not have to endure another cold night. I highly recommend TJ and AAA Calvert.

The guys were here on time and very quick putting the new box on the wall. They were very professional.

They were fantastic. He was responsive; he came on and fixed the problem. It was really simple and he said he was not going to charge me and if I needed work to be done in the future, I should call him. I called them at 4 o’clock, they came out and fixed it. They were just awesome. They were highly responsive and professional. The office staff and the electrician were great. I would absolutely use their services again in the future.

After scheduling work, I had to postpone twice because my work schedule kept changing. The office person was delightful and knowledgable. They knew who I was and the nature of the job. They maintained excellent communication and were very patient with my rescheduling. I met with one engineer for the estimate and another for the work. Both were very personable, polite, punctual, and utterly capable. They were very careful about containing dust and dirt and were great with my two dogs. They rebuilt the very old furnace and replaced the corroded heater box and the corroded venting. Once the project was completed, the second engineer made sure I knew how to operate the system and confirmed that I was happy with the heat output and the project overall. I am delighted and completely satisfied with every aspect of this project and my interaction with AAA Culvert. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

I have a floor furnance which is from the 1950's I could not get the heater to turn on. The temputures dropped significantly in the last two days. So we tried to turn our heater on. It would not go on. I look for several heating and air conditioning companies. I called several, and was told that they do not work on floor furnances. I first called a handy man. He was really nice, and said he did not have his jump suit to go under the house. He said he would recommend someone who works on floor furnances. Did not hear back from him. So I found AAA Calvert Electrical with a A rating, and a special service award. I called them. The women Lori who answered the phone was polite, and friendly. She also seemed very concerned. She said because of the sudden cold weather they were very busy, and the first available was friday morning. I said fine because they worked, and understand floor furnances, and I spoke with a live voice the first call. She told me if they had a cancelations, she would call me! They called 4hours later, and said they would stop by my house today! Wow that was really great. The technician came in, and pointed out to my husband that the entire pilot light was not lit. He also showed him how to do it! Wow they did not charge us a service call. If and when I need a furnance service call,or need to get electrical work done which I do I will most definitely call AAA Calvert.I also will recommend them to friends with no hesitation.This company probably has a lot of return customers. I would most highly recommend them, and say they are a A+ company in every way. It is truly wonderful to meet an honest hard working company.They came to my home the same day even though they were booked solid!

I called for an estimate. A company electrician came out and noted the work I wanted done. A couple of days later, I received a written estimate in the mail. I signed the estimate and returned it. We set a date for the work over the phone. The electrician, his helper, and the company president arrived right on time. The company president introduced himself and checked the work locations. He then left. The electrician, with the assistance of his helper, performed the work, cleaned up as needed, and left. The work took approximately 4 hours to complete. Although two holes had to be drilled (one in a wall and the other in the ceiling), the electrician carefully made sure they were no bigger than absolutely required, and his patch job was well done. A day or so later, the company office called me to coordinate a time for the city inspector to come out and sign off the work. On inspection day, the company office called again to give me a two-hour window for when the inspector would arrive. The company president arrived about 10 minutes before the inspector. The inspector arrived and took about five minutes to approve the work. I then paid the invoice, which did not include any cost for the president's time or anything extra at all. I happily wrote him a check.

Found AAA Calvert through Angie's List. I was compelled by their "A" grade, local business and length of experience. Scheduling was not a problem, in fact, I had some scheduling limitations and they accomodated them. Tom arrived on the date and time agreed. I showed him to the A/C unit and he inspected it and began to service it. He spent about 40 minutes on it and came back to report that it was functioning correctly and it should last for a number of years. Since there were no pre-service issues and this was general maintence, so I didn't expect any problems. The service hour was $85, but with the mention of Angies' List, I received a 10% discount! I was very happy with the service and plan to have them back for a heater tune-up and some minor electrical work.

The receptionist was very helpful and accommodating my schedule for the appointment and I was told I would be the first appoinment of the day. I was asked what time I needed to be at work and told her by 11:00am. The day of the appointment came and the two hour window for the first appoinment of the day passed so I called the company and was told, the workman called and said he was running 30 minutes late. The workman arrived around 10:30. My first complaint is I I expected to be called and told I was not the first appointment of the day. the second is I had to call to get the information that the workman was running late. The service itself was excellent the system was checked and found to be functioning well.

We called AAA Calvert late on Tuesday, but they still managed to get someone out that afternoon. It was somewhat a challenge to find the problem. After trying to detect it with no luck, Eddie said he would return the next day. He did and the problem was found after a lot of searching. It was a break in the circuit chain (my explanation) so everything beyond that point was dead. Found it, fixed it, and was friendly the whole time! Everyone I spoke/dealt with at AAA was super friendly. I highly recommend AAA Calvert.

We were very impressed from the first conversation that we had with Leonanna who was very pleasant and professional in setting up the schedule and facilitating discussions with TJ to answer questions in advance of the work being done. TJ took the time to conduct a thorough review of our requirements before providing a proposal. He also offered several creative ideas and recommendations that will facilitate future electrical work if required much more easily. This was important for us as we own a small ranch with no underground access and very limited attic space - so getting it right the first time was critical. TJ also made a second visit in advance of the work being performed in order to review the scope of supply and details of the project. The quotation was thorough and reasonable and we were able to discuss options that helped control the cost without sacrificing a good design. Furthermore it was also refreshing not to be hit with change orders needlessly. TJ, Eddie and Dean all showed up on time, explained their plan for the days that they would be working and how they would coordinate with the roofers. They were very courteous and careful in moving around our house and cleaning up after their work. The work was conducted in such a way to ensure that the time that we were without power was kept to a minimum which was a tremendous convenience. They worked late on one afternoon in order to meet their schedule and they took the time to explain what had been completed at the end of the day as well as the plans for the next. They completed the work on time and right on budget. Proposals and invoices were promptly submitted. All in all the whole experience was very worthwhile. We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and we felt that value that we received was superior. Based on this experience we would certainly recommend AAA-Calvert to others, and we will work with them again when the need arises.

when i first called AAA Calvert they were very nice and gave me a very good estimate on when Tom would be able to come by and take a look at my heater, between 11am-1pm. Tom showed up at 11:50am and was very nice, he came in did some investigating and diagnosed the problem. there were some valves that were turned off and he explained why that was the cause of my heater not working. He then installed a new filter for me and cleaned up everything. Now i have a working heater and AAA Calvert has a new customer.

I ended up hiring them to install a new wall heater and clean and replace a new brass gas connector in another wall heater. The price was fair and they even replaced the flue onto the roof which I did not know needed to be done. 2 years ago I had another company install a wall heater and they did not tell me the flue should be replaced. Tom, the tech was honest, reliable and they gave me the angies list discount. The invoice was itemized and everything was broken down so I could see what I was paying for. I hate it when companies charge you one lump sum. I am so happy to find an honest company. I will be using them again in the future!!

They did a fantastic job. They were honest did great work and left the house clean... especially considering that they had to work under the house and in damp sand. They were professional at all times and really worked with me on the final bill. As I mentioned the heater unit went out 2 times within a few days and actually before it was all over 3 times and even though it was not there fault they did all they could to reduce my bill and actually redid some of the work for no charge.I would recommend them to anyone who needs a AC/Heater company and I would never use anyone else but them in the future. Great work...honest people and fair pricing ...I don't think you could ask for anything more...:)

Had another company (Paterno's) helping us, but they were unresponsive to the point of incompetence. Found AAA Calvert, they were out immediately. All we needed was a part, they sold it to us and allowed us to install it ourselves so we saved the cost of labor and a second visit. Fantastic!

Called AAA Calvert in the morning and spoke with Laurie. She was extremely nice, polite and very interested in what our electrical problems were. By 1PM, Paul was here and proceeded to fix all our problems within an hour. Paul is extremely nice and very good at what he does. I will be calling AAA Calvert from now on for all our electrical problems and only wish they were general contractors so I could call them for everything!

They did a really good job. They were professional, timely, honest, and reasonable in their price. It was during a very busy time of the year, so it took them about two weeks to come out. Everything still worked out well and they did a great job!

I had a heat technician and an electrician come and inspect the electrical and the heater. Both were professional and provided an excellent inspection. They didn't provide any unnecessary work that wasn't required. Laurie at the front office is very responsive and always follows up on her calls and finds the service that you need.

The two gentlemen were on time and very professional. They were surprisingly able to rewire the abandoned fixture without having to cut another hole in my ceiling (attic crawl space is very small) which ended up saving me a lot of money afterwards. The Panasonic exhaust fan was recommended for quietness, which has been a great purchase as well. I will definitely use AAA Calvert for future electrical services.

He was great. He gave me a lot of options about fixing it and he was very honest. He had the parts in his truck. It was a positive experience and I would use him again. His price was less than I expected. They were happy for my business and they were timely. They were fair, pleasant and informational. Their quality of their work was excellent.

They were prompt, and quick. The came on time and when they said they would. It was quite a fast project.

Arrived on time - everytime - nice people. The office manager and dispatch gals are great and seem to really care about our concerns. They fixed things right the first time so we didn't have to hesitate about calling them for any future projeccts. Don't think I'd ever use anyone else. Clean, fast and spotless clean up. Very reasonable pricing. Professional yet friendly.

The whole job went really well. Eddie, the young man that did the work, is very nice, polite, very knowledgeable and a good worker. He made friends with my two chihuahuas when he first arrived which made it much easier for him to be in our home. He did a great job running the wires under the house from the electrical panel and up the side of the house using a small pipe to the electrical outlets that were being put on the new circuit. This method that he used saved us a great deal of money as other electrical companies told us they would have to go through the walls to do the same thing and it would be very costly probably several thousand dollars. He was very careful not to damage the siding put on the house by Sears. I was surprised at how good it looked when he was done. He cleaned up after himself in the kitchen so that I did not have to do anything in there after he was done. He did a great job on the celing fan as well putting down a tarp so that he would not damage or dirty the rug and when he was done he cleaned up after himself which we really appreciated. Everything works great.

They did an excellent job. They showed up on time. They seemed to know what they were doing. They did a great job cleaning up.

They came on time and were helpful. They were clean and efficient. They didn?t try to push any products on us. My husband did the price comparison and it was as I had expected. They were excellent and we would hire them again.
