John and his team did an amazing job refinishing the floors! John was a true professional to work with - responded quickly to all correspondence and delivered exactly what he promised. I definitely would recommend him to friends and family.

Working with Just Hardwood Floors was a very positive experience. The hardwood flooring in this vintage two bedroom one bath house in Hayward, CA had been covered with carpeting for over 30 years. The care and workmanship done to restore these floors to their original glory was gratifying. The replacement flooring in one bedroom fits in with the original flooring. The tile in the entry way was removed and the pinstripe style flooring that exists in the main room was copied successfully for the entryway. This is my uncle’s home. I am his Successor Trustee and while this house is in an obsolete area due to its proximity to aerial BART tracks, it retains its charm. Jason and John treated this job with respect and I appreciate that they did. There are many who will not do their best work because a house is not in an upscale neighborhood. That is not the case with Just Hardwood Floors. Their decency, professionalism and high quality work is commendable and rare to find. I highly recommend Just Hardwood Floors because of their work ethic and the results they achieve. When I have another project I am engaging Just Hardwood Floors for the project.

We are extremely satisfied with the work performed by Jason and his dad, John. They were prompt, professional and thoughtful. At their suggestion we changed the finish of our bedroom flooring and what a wonderful difference it made. We are very happy that we listened to the pros. We will definitely hire them again to refinish the rest of the flooring in our home.

A tenants freezer leaked leaked and damaged a small patch of the dining room floor. Jason and father and young worker showed up promptly and did a great job matching existing floor. Jason was pleased with the result and so was I. I would definitely use them again.

Jason was punctual on the assessment and made an accurate determination about how to proceed. I have a tenant so I was concerned about the impact to the tenant, but Jason and his crew were very thoughtful and professional to accommodate both her schedule but to also mitigate the dust. Plus its a father-son business and nice to support a family business. Should there be a need floor work again, they will get my first call.

Jason and his team recently refinished the existing hardwood floors in our new home. I really appreciated his willingness to go above and beyond to move around existing jobs to accommodate our tight timeline (trying to get the job completed prior to move in). He communicated regularly throughout the job and explained when there were some adjustments that needed to be made along the way. He worked with us to achieve the color we wanted and we are extremely happy with the end result. I can’t recommend Jason and Just Hardwood Floors enough!

Jason and his team just completed installing approximately 3800sqft of engineered wood floor in our house. We were impressed by their commitment to quality, ongoing communication during the project, and keeping within their promised delivery time. We are thrilled with the look of our new floors and can’t wait to move back home and begin enjoying them.

The quality of their work was outstanding and exceeded my hopes and expectations. Previous attempts at fixing the damaged area had only made matters worse. In contrast, when they were done, the refinished work blended into the surrounding areas flawlessly. They have obviously experienced every conceivable hardwood flooring problem and project. They were a pleasure to work with---they wanted to helpfully and honestly share their expertise, and they treated my home as if it were their own. Not only was their work better than I had hoped; it was completed faster than expected. From my first call to them, through estimate, to job completion, they followed up on every point on a timely basis, as they said they would. All this service came at a very fair price. I will never use anyone else for a hardwood flooring project again.

These guys were awesome. They matched up the old and new planking with the right type and size of oak planks, and stayed ahead of schedule throughout the process. A contractor friend thought the price quoted was "really good". I am so pleased with the work - everything was described clearly and discussed with me throughout the process. Friendly, efficient, professional, with great attention to detail. They know their stuff - I wish I had other floors in need of their attention.

Excellent. The work was done two days ago, right on time and as scheduled. When I had the business owner come do an estimate, he told me the floors were in good shape and he recommended just re-coating. Thus, he did not try and up-sell me, in fact, he recommended the less expensive option which absolutely was adequate for my needs. I had to schedule about a month before the job because Just Hardwoods is busy. They are a small company and keep the quality high by performing the jobs themselves. After the job, the business owner recommended how to maintain the floors and what products to use. During the entire process, he was responsive via email. He is personable, communicative, and bright. I don't think Just Hardwoods is the cheapest, but honestly, is that what you come to Angie's List for? Didn't think so. Job cost was approximately $2,000.

We furnished the lumber because it was left over from a previous installation. Not only were they very friendly but they did high quality work. Overall they deserve an A rating.

Just Hardwood was great! They know their job and did an incredible job refinishing our hardwood floors. They sanded the floors and removed creaks in the wood and put on 3 polyurethane coats. It looks great! I highly recommend them!
