Dan initially told me he could paint molding for a certain price. Then when I asked him if he was still interested, he said no and didn't give me the courtesy of a reason why. Unprofessional.

Dan Sorensen (DSJ) does excellent quality work. Prior to our recent bathroom/den remodel job, He installed crown molding throughout every room in the house ; built and installed a large custom TV Entertainment Cabinet in our family room; built and installed a coffer ceiling in main hallway, and installed special rounded ceiling crown molding and trim in our entry way. I highly recommend DSJ Crown Molding for high quality work at very fair cost.

Very professional. All cuts, angles look perfect. Kept the job site very tidy and cleaned up daily. Job took 5 days; four of those included a two-person caulking and painting team. Price higher compared to other providers, but included caulking and painting, while others did not. Also, considering the many complaints I heard from neighbors about other providers, I think the premium was well worth it.

Right from the start, Dan understood what we wanted, and implemented it exactly as we had envisioned it. He work was clean, punctual, and on time. Dan is professional and detail-oriented, and is a pleasure to work with. His painters too did a very good and neat job at caulking and painting everything, not an easy job at such height. I would definitely hire Dan again and recommend him to others.

Dan was prompt and professional in every manner. He gave me a price on the spot within 24 hours of contacting him. He arrived when he said he would and finished the job as promised. The crown molding looks outstanding and the workmanship is clearly better than the builder installed molding when I purchased the home. He utilized two painters to caulk and paint the installed molding and they also did an outstanding job. Dan is truly a craftsman as evidenced by the fit and finish of his work. I would highly recommend Dan and his crew to anyone.

Dan was professional and did a great job. Because we add about 700 feet of crown and base molding, Dan came and finished on sunday before my painter arrived Monday morning. My painter caulked and filled nail holes. My painter commented "Your crown guy did a great job and took his time with his nail gun...."

We would have loved to use him if we ever got all the quotes back. Dan has done work in our old home through the home builder. The quality was very good. I tried contacting him repeatively through Angie's list and phone. Since he did our previous home I thought I would keep trying. After the 4th attempt, I finally reached him and set up a appointment to meet. He came to house on time and we went through house. He was very professional and said he would get me quotes in a few days due to we had multiple jobs. He did email partial quotes and said he would get back to me in a couple days. After a week, I called and emailed but got no response. Two weeks later with a few calls, emails and contact via angies list we recieved no response. 3 weeks later and still no contact at all. Very disappointing since we wanted the initial phase done before the end of the year.His work is good but not worth his unreliability.

Dan, the owner, was reccomended by our neighbor so we called him for an estimate. He came the same day and was very nice with many ideas and many samples mouldings to show us. He gave a written estimate within minutes and left us to make a decision with no pressure. We liked his ideas and his prices so we hired him for the job. He worked with our schedule on the start date and was on time with the whole project. He did all of his on work so we didnt have alot of people all through our home. Very clean and such a craftsman. All of his work came out alot better then we even emagined it would. A extremely beautiful change to our home and we love it.
