Trifecta Painting

They painted one bathroom, 3 doors, and a deck. They were on time, very clean, and pleasant to do deal with. The painters were respectful of our home and the prep job was good. The quality of work was excellent.

Contacted Ean over the phone to schedule an estimate for a complete exterior painting of my house. At first Ean was very nice on the phone and set-up an estimate for a few days later. The day before the original estimate was schedule, he called asking to reschedule. This wasn't a problem and I gave him some other dates. We settled on another date which he again had to cancel. He left me a voice-mail to say so and I tried calling him back 2-3 times, left voicemails but he never returned my call. Ended-up going with one of his competitor and spending over $3500 with them. CertaPro lost my business just because they couldn't return a call or keep an appointment.

CentraPro had the most competitive bid and Ean Belafsky was most courteous. The crew was father and son who were efficient and worked quickly. I work at a home office and the disruption was minimal, and they kept the area clear and clean. They noticed termite damage. I quickly hired repairs and CentraPro worked around my repair crew. The house not only looks brand new, it actually is in some places after they painted over the repairs. Any one who has a similar experience would recommend them as highly as I do.

Ean and his crew were responded quickly to my internet request for an estimate. Ean came out to do the estimate shortly after my request. He was very thorough and professional, and pointed out some options I had not even considered. He did not try to up-sell me on additional items that may have needed painting or repair. His estimate was right in line with other estimates I had gotten and was very fair for the work I needed accomplished. He even line itemed several things in case I wanted to add certain painting services or additional pressure washing. This allowed me to compare his estimate fairly to others. His crew was available the very next week to begin work., which they did. They arrived on time prepared to work. Ean's crew worked at the house approximately 5 days. One morning they were running a little late due to traffic, but they called to inform me of their delay. Every other day they were prompt and ready to work. At the end of each day they cleaned up the area where they were working and stored their tools away as well. I was pleased with the work Ean and his crew did at my home and I have already recommended them to several friends. I would hire them again to do work for me!

I had 3 estimates on this project. CertaPro was by far the lowest estimate. Ean and the workers were polite and always on time. Their quality of work was excellent. They were neat and and cleaned up after they finished. On the two previous patio cover paintings, done by other painters, the rust from the nails bled through and looked terrible. Eighteen months later there is no sign of rust and the wood looks like it was painted yesterday. I will definitely call Ean for future painting projects.

Ean is extremely professional and helpful. He and his team were polite and conscientious and always punctual. They protected everything before they started and cleaned up afterwards. The quality of their work is excellent. We hired them again later in the year for an interior painting job and they were fantastic. Ean was also very accommodating in helping us decide on color selection. He performed above and beyond the call of duty, bringing us samples until we found the right shade.

They are wonderful. Ian is a young guy and totally ethical. He has a great price. It is privately owned. The workers worked very carefully. They did an excellent job. They were very courteous and the kind of people you don’t mind having in your home with your things. They were very considerate of your living space. Also, they were generous in that we were minding cost and Ian had an eye for what we could do compared to the work that could have been done. I would give them five stars. He was just a lovely guy starting the business without cutting corners. They were a great company. He looked out for our best interest.

They were very easy to work with. They did good cleanup and masking and prep work. The stucco patching that they did, however, failed a couple of years later, but when I notified Ean of the problem, they came out a couple weeks later and repaired the stucco at no charge. First class operation.

This is the second time we had Ean perform work on our house. Last time it was painting of entire interior with about 16different colors, and the job turned out absolutely phenomenal. This time it was a partial pairing of the exterior of our home. As always, Ean is incredibly responsive. Every call and email was promptly and pulley answered. After two tries Ean was able to match the new paint to the old one so perfectly that its literally impossible to tell where one starts and the over begins. Ean not only matched the paint color, but came to the house and applied a small sample for our approval. Way, way beyond the call of duty! The job was started on the scheduled date with a power wash, then a full prime, and then two coats of the water-repelent paint. The job was actually finished a day ahead of schedule. We were away during the job, and came back to a spotless house that was perfectly painted. There was no trace of any workers, nothing to clean up, no debris, no trash (nothing in our trash cans), not even a piece of stray masking tape. If it was not for the beautiful paint job, you would never know they were there. I can't recommend Ean and Certa Pro enough. I wish they did electrical and fixed cars!

Certapro is a franchised business so it has some organizational oversight and a quality assurance component beyond that of an individual business. Ari, the local guy, was very professional and precise regarding the work to be done. Estimate was not the lowest of those I received but was very reasonable. First and foremost, the house looks very nice now, but it was a "process". Ari, unfortunately, could not be present for the job so all my dealing were with his crew of two guys. They did the prep by hand, no sanding machines, etc. which is both a good and bad thing... there is more control with hand sanding, but it takes a long time and can show blemishes when the crew is in a hurry or just misses something. I had to point out several touch-up areas and eventually stopped bothering because some of the things were admittedly kinda picky since I'm a stone-cold perfectionist, so I'm taking care of those things myself. The guys were at the house for 6 days. The original estimate was 5, but the hand sanding and a communication problem added time to the job. If there was a B+ rating, I'd give that... excellent to me is when I literally can't complain about a thing.

Ean and his team did an AMAZING job painting the interior of our home. The experience was fantastic from the start. He was prompt and diligent in returning calls and providing estimates. He beat the estimated completion date by more than 2 days. And kicker was two-fold: (1) quality was NOT impacted by finishing the job quickly; and (2) purchasing, cutting, installing and painting chair rails for 2 bedrooms +powder bath came up after job began. So kudos to Ean and his skilled painting lead, Luis, for executing so well and providing HIGH QUALITY work. I was really impressed at clean-up after each work day. The guys were great and patiently worked with us in selecting colors. I will definitely use Ean and his team in the future and would happily recommend them.

We were very very happy with the way things turned out with Certa Pro. I would recommend them to anyone at anytime.

Ean Belafsky of CertaPro Painters provided me with an estimate for the exterior painting of my house. The work included extensive stucco repair and some wood repair. Of the four Angie's List painters I contacted, Ean's estimate was the lowest. He took the time to do a detailed inspection of the exterior of the house. Ean was very patient and thorough in responding to my numerous questions about the project. His contacts with me were both punctual and professional. Ultimately I selected another painter, one who lived near my house and had 30+ years of experience. For this, I spent at least $2,000+ more to have the exterior of my house repaired and painted. While I did not use CertaPro Painters for this particular project, I will definitely contact Ean for my future painting needs.

Certa Pro did exterior work of my house. There was a lot of preparation done. Jesus and Cecilio did an exception job. They were polite and clean, also every day after work is done they cleaned everything. Job was done on time as per contract. They use high quality Sherwin Williams paint. House looks amazing, like new, I?ve got a lot of compliments from my neighbors. There are also 3 other houses painted by Certa Pro in my community. This is actually how I find out about Ean. I highly recommend Ean with Certa Pro!!!

The work took about 6 days. The preparation required that they patch and repair the walls in several places. The house now looks fresh and overall amazing. Ean did a great job of keeping me informed of how the job was going and the progress that was being made. There was a lot of detailed woodwork to be painted and they did an excellent job. After the job was finished, I realized that the color that I had chosen for the living room was too bright a yellow. I called Ean and asked how much he would charge to re- paint that one room with a more toned down yellow. He gave me a very fair price to come back paint the new color that I choose. My experience with Ean and with the Certa Pro painters was excellent, I would definitely hire them again.

Work began Sept 12 and completed Sept. 29. 2011. Ean, explained in detail what would be done and how to minimize the discomfort of the painting and intrusion into our lifestyle. The 4 man team did an exceptional job! Left the job site each day swept, equipment stored, and work area clean. The repairs and repainting where the dog chewed was remarkable. They were great to work with. My overall experience was " A terrific job and a terrific team!". I will be using them again!

The job went well, they were clean and professional.

Update Nov 20, 2013 Ean, the new owner of the Certapro franchise has been very responsive, and his team is at my house repainting all the trim where the original paint was peeling and cracking. When the job is complete, I will revise my review and ratings. Update Sep 3, 2013 - This morning the new Certapro franchise operator servicing my area called me to see if we can work out a solution. I will meet with him soon, and depending upon the outcome, I will update my review. 2 years later the paint is peeling & cracking. I went to Sherwin Williams and showed them the cans and the painter used a cheaper (inferior) paint than the one specified in the contract. Now I need to get the house painted again.

Ean and his crew were great. Ean treated our house like it was his own. Excellent job!

We selected CertaPro because of positive feedback on Angie's, their use of oil based primer and Dunn Edwards paint with the addition of a paint booster, having insurance and a bid that was very competitive. Ean came to job site three times, once for the bid, then to match the paint and finally to instruct his crew on the specifics of job. The job started and finished on scheduler. The crew, Santiago an Minor were the most knowledgeable painters we ever used and a pleasure to be around. The job was completed with excellent detail both in prep and finish and at the cost proposed, We are looking forward to using Ean's CertaPro Painters in the future.

Ari was interviewed by both my wife and I regarding the painting of the interior and exterior of our home. We found Ari to be very knowledgeable and extremely professional in assessing our needs. He gave us a contract bid outlining each of the details that he guaranteed to perform, together with his license number, general liability and workers compensation insurance coverage. We were very impressed and pleased to receive these document as it further gave us assurances that we were dealing with a reputable firm and contractor. Ari suggested we go to the paint store and select as many sample paints as we thought necessary. Being able to view how these sample colors looked on our walls for a few days helped us make the final selection. Ari and his crew are to be commended for the superb painting job they did to the interior and exterior of our home. My wife and i are very pleased with the outcome. Ari arrived every day to inspect the workmanship to assure that the work met OUR expectations. Any requests for corrections made by us were made without any hesitation. The workers were always on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were very polite and courteous. Ari called a week later to inquire if we found any imperfections that needed correcting. I don't see how you can be more professional than that.

My entire experience could not have been better. From the moment I first called Ean to inquire about their services right through to when the job was completed, Ean and his employees were exceptional in every regard. Everyone was extremely friendly, courteous, professional and so pleasant to do business with. I received three quotes and Certapro's quote was the best. They did a wonderful job and the end result far exceeded my expectations. They also went above and beyond what they were required to do, and took the extra time and effort to make sure the house looked perfect. I will call Ean and Certapro anytime I need something painted, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone who has painting needs.

Ari was great from start to finish. He always showed up on time and the price he quoted was the price I paid. The job was completed in the time quoted and the house looks great! i already recommended Ari to my next door neighbors and they loved his work as well. My next painting job with be with Ari and CertaPro.

From start to finish, this team did what they said they would. There's honestly nothing negative I can say about them or the experience.

Ean promptly returned my call and set up a time for an estimate. Once we accepted the bid, about a month passed, due to indecision on our part as to color and bad weather, before we were able to schedule the work. Once the job started, Jesus and his crew worked quickly and professionally. They were polite and responsive to ad hoc requests which weren't initially covered on the estimate. I thought the price was fair and the work of a high quality. There were places that weren't perfect, largely due to factors beyond anyone's control (e.g., DIY fixes that might have been made worse in trying to remediate them). However, the work was done meticulously and professionally. One note: if you are not confident on color choices, I would recommend using a color consultant. Ean referred me to one, but the service is not provided by CertaPro.
