Description of Work: I contacted TNT for an estimate to remodel a kitchen, 3/4 bath and adjacent laundry room. My initial contact with their owner/office was fine and the post-visit follow up by email was also fine. The owner/estimator, however, communicated in a way that conveyed their focus is on much bigger, more high-budget projects. He repeatedly referenced his big projects (.e. housing developments), big budgets, his big house, his big clients, etc., infering that MY project was the type of thing they do to keep the crew working in between "big" jobs. I actually said to him that from MY perspective, my project is BIG and that my budget of $100k is BIG! After I said this, he assured me they do smaller projects, like installing kitchen islands, too. Wow! That made me feel so valuable as a prospective client! NOT! It is possible TNT does fine work, and I wasn't bothered that their estimate came in at $130k, I just want to feel like a contractor respects and values me and my project.

+ -1 moreOn the suggestion of my realtor, I hired them in 2010 to redo the kitchen and bathrooms of the home I had just purchased. I met with Tommy who provided me with a bid for roughly 35,000. At the commencement of the project, I realized that they gave me a project manager who was clearly getting on the job training. He shouldn't have been making decisions... He was constantly making mistakes, and then they'd have to send their other guy Juan in to bail him out. There were also billing errors, and a problem with a shower which took over two years to get them to fix correctly. They have recently apologized for all of the miscommunication, delays in response, and trouble that I've been put through to get the warrantied items repaired. For that reason, I've taken most of the gory details out of this review. It was difficult to provide an overall rating for this company. Many aspects of their work were absolutely wonderful, and they tell me that they've learned a lot from the problems that occurred on my project.

+ -1 moreHonest, professional, thorough, punctual,responsive Goes the extra mile on everything. Not the very cheapest but you get what you pay for and probably better off in the long run. Strongly recommmended. By the way, TNT is based in CA not AZ so Angies list should correct its data.
