Description of Work: I availed the deal for a landscape design and Avi is great. He is responsive, prompt, honest and professional. He sent me the 3D design within 3 days from coming and putting all my ideas in the drawing. Avi pateintly revised it a couple of times but I was not fully satisfied with the design due to limited garden space, budget and my stubbornness of keeping my fruit trees. He offered a refund, but I think he deserves to keep it since he spent some of his professional time and effort in designing. Avi is a very nice guy, easy to work with and most of all patient. Thank you, Avi. 5 stars for your professionalism.

Description of Work: I'm in the process of selecting a designer/contractor to remodel my master bathroom. I met with Avi to discuss the project. I was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. I asked for very rough estimate and an idea of how long the project might take from demo to completion. His responses were frank and contained realistic/honest information that left me confident that if I went with him I would be in good hands. It was difficult making my final selection because I did not have any easy reasons to eliminate So Cal Builders. I was so confident about his professionalism that I was able to focus only on the subjective impression of who I thought would work best with my personality.

Avi was extremely professional (pleasant, punctual, organized) and completely reasonable in is recommendations and what would work best for our needs. rarely have I encountered a contractor how is as organized and punctual as him. received a rendering of our back patio remodel and an estimate for the work. the price was very reasonable and even received a discount benefiting from other jobs he was doing in the area. We are moving forward using him for the extensive remodel.

 + 7 moreA wonderful kitchen remodel experience. We talked with 2 other remodeling contractors and decided to go with So Cal Builders and Design (Avi, manager/contractor). My husband and I seemed like we had instant warmth with Avi and felt like he could be trusted. He turned all of our worries about remodeling into a great experience. The price was in the middle of the other contractors, but he showed us great pictures and Avi also had great ideas and we were hooked. We picked out our cabinets, countertop, backsplash, we also had LED lights installed. Then the process started, boy was I nervous at first when they gutted the kitchen, but after a day or two I was good. Everyone that worked for Avi seems like we had a good connection with and also trusted them. Ferdi was the person that did the gutting, plumbing, painting and installing the appliances and all sorts of other things (great job Ferdi). You know once you start a remodeling there are always other unforeseen issues that pop up. Yes, they popped up with our remodeling, we found out the owners prior to us did some electrical work and it was wrong. So, we had to fix the electrical issues and also upgraded our electrical box (additional cost, but good). Simon and Usher did all of our electrical work (great job Simon). Along the way we were able to change our minds and nobody had a problem with that (at least they didn?t complain). We also decided to make changes to an existing wall by adding on a larger countertop in the kitchen. When the cabinets were installed they looked GOOD, they used excellent materials, great workmanship and the crown molding was FABULOUS. The countertops and backsplash are amazing too. Avi was always available, also with texting which made life great, didn?t matter what time he was always able to get back to us with answers to our many questions. He also was available to stop by to make sure we were happy and things were going as planned. The overall experience was fantastic. We really enjoyed the professionalism and kindness that everybody displayed, also making sure we were pleased. Now we have our new kitchen and it is BEAUTIFUL. We highly recommend hiring Avi with So Cal Builders and Design. Thanks! [Member names removed]
