Description of Work: I erroneously posted a review to the Sherman Oaks Tree Service. It was another company that I had a problem with. Indeed, Greg, the owner of Sherman Oaks Tree Service saw this review and came to our house because he was concerned about what he had read. He wanted to fix whatever the problem was. Of course, there was nothing to fix since the error was mine. He offered to do the work quoted by the other provider as soon as next week. Obviously a concerned and caring owner who went out of his way to make me satisfied even though the error was mine.

Description of Work: Cleaned/trimmed oaks. Cleared a bunch of brush. Trimmed a few other trees around the property. | |We've used Sherman Oaks Tree Service several times before and have never been disappointed. They definitely know their trade. Trees always look beautiful. Not the cheapest in town, but never regretted paying the extra $$ for the quality of service.

Excellent. The dead tree had the power line to the house running between it. They showed up with a crew of six and very carefully and skillfully cut down the dead tree. They hauled away all of the wood and dead leaves that fell, including what fell on our neighbors yard as the tree was right near the property line. Overall, they were very professional. The cost was in line with other estimates received.
Description of Work: Remove a 60 foot dead tree from backyard and trim three other trees. Remove all wood cut.

The work only took three hours and now they are charging $2750. The man is very rude. He over estimated and had not paid anything. I am willing to pay half of the $2750 for the work. The work is not worth $2750. He was willing to do additional 2 palm trees for the same amount, ,but payment had to be in cash.
Description of Work: Before any work was done, Gregg Buskett gave me a quote of $5,500, and I told him I do not have that kind of money. He said it was a huge job and could complete it in 2 days (8 hour work day) for $5,500. I asked what he could do for 1/2 of that amount.

An estimate was written, explained, and signed by the member. She was told it would not take more than a day. Concern about her dogs prompted us to bring more men to get the job done quicker. The member was irritated that we finished too soon. We offered to trim 2 large palms at no charge. The member still was not happy and refused to pay. We always go the extra mile when we can, and in the member's case, we certainly did.
