Sherman Oaks Lock and Safe

This is one of only two times I've ever reported negatively on a service. I expected a delay in arrival due to road construction in my area, but the appointment was kept very close to On Time regardless. A young man with a pleasant disposition got right to work, and completed the job within a couple of hours. Within a week, one of the dead bolt was falling out of a door that I hadn't even used. I called on Friday before Labor Day weekend to report the failing dead bolt. After leaving my name, invoice, and phone numbers, I was promised someone would call me back soon. Nobody ever called. Two days later, I called again, and this time the call was returned, but their advertised 24/7 service apparently did not apply in my case as he asked if he could return Monday morning. When he finally returned, he stated that somebody had broken the dead bolt, and proceeded to prepare an additional estimate for a dead bolt, and service call. I didn't bother to argue that the locked screen door had not been broken which left a hole in his story. Further, there seems to be no clear communication within the company. It could have been worse, but it was a very poor job, and overall experience.
