Description of Work: Was hired through my realtor for painting and minor repairs and it was just ridiculous. Dosnt know to paint materials before theyre installed, like stair treads; cant measure or hang a door. Hinges were not inset and door trimmed incorrectly. now there is a 1/4 gap around the entire door that the light shines through in my new $50k kitchen. Slung paint all over my house-after using flat ceiling paint on all of my trim. Took over 3 weeks to sand and install 15 stair treads, paint ceilings and trim in a 2k sq ft house, install a pantry door and 38 sq ft of snap together flooring in a closet, then told me I owed him more money. Did next to none of the work himself: left 3 uneducated, unskilled, illegal aliens here unsupervised who made a huge mess and did most of the work shoddily or incorrectly. Loves to spend the customer's money:tried to give me lists of materials almost every day of stuff already on site because they wee too lazy to look through the mess they made dumping all of my materials in a pile on my garage floor Made me buy a new can of custom stain, matching the same trim piece that came out exactly the same color. I provided all the materials then was told that I had to buy all of their tools and water. Now I have 2 gallons of $40 a can custom paint when he only needed a quart. Scheculed meetings with me 4 times, never showed or even called. This guy is an unprofessional moron and a menace to consumers. STAY AWAY!!!

+ -1 moreWe are continuing to use him for many repairs in the house and he is excellent. He's very personable, professional, and detailed. All his workers are detail oriented, very hard working, and they do an excellent job. He's on the phone whenever we need him. He has done electrical and fencing work for us and we will be calling him for basically all the contract work.
Description of Work: We've used Ross Hoagland - Builder & Designer. He did a complete remodel for one of our bathrooms.

+ 3 moreHe has been very responsive, and he is a great communicator. He took a tremendous amount of time to listen to what I wanted to do. He gave me feedback on different ideas or different method of solving certain problems which I appreciated. He has been very punctual and been very cost-effective in the sense that I called the garage door company and got an estimate. Then, I had him come out and he gave me the same estimate, but he gave me a better door, better rollers, better opener, and he had to do a bunch of additional woodwork. He did it for the same price that they were quoting, and I know they would not have done all that. So, if you are going to spend the same amount of money, you should get more from your money. He does very high quality work, and he is phenomenal. I would probably use him until I run out of money.
Description of Work: Ross Hoagland is doing a bathroom plumbing repair, electrical works, and installed a garage door for me.
