Milestone Design & Development Inc

We worked with William, from Renov8 Builders, a subsidiary of Milestone Design & Development Inc., for a Kitchen remodel, projected to be a 2-month project, per contract. The project was completed,1 year and 3 months after the proposed completion date. The Company had poor communication of work scheduling and execution of tasks. We were told that workers would be scheduled so we could plan. This did not happen, workers not showing up when told or showing up without notice was the norm. We were promised work would be included but when we asked about it later, we were told that it was not in the contract or not in the scope. The company admittedly made mistakes with the planning, and we were told that we would have to pay extra or they would not complete the project. (written in email) They destroyed association plants and dug holes and then told us that they are not responsible for restoring the areas. Renov8, when asked, repeatedly refused to pick up any construction trash. (stacked in my backyard, garage and in the house for months), until I eventually hired someone myself and had the trash hauled away. The quality of work provided by the company was not good; see attached pictures of wall, ceiling and paint. Once we were able to get the parent company (Milestone Design & Development Inc.) involved and after much discussion, many of the quality, promises and work issues were resolved and the project was completed quickly. The diligence, attention to details and care they provided me were outstanding. The project was completed sooner than they told me it would be. Everything was returned to better conditions than it was before.

The service was great! It went very well.

They did good work. The main thing was the quality of work they were really good with. With that work and the painting, the construction that he had to do and some demolition, they were good with all of it. They were always on time. They weren't cheap but they did really nice work.

If I did not cancel, he still did not show up on date. Did not want to have inspections. " it is was just between you and me." No one needs to know what you do in your house". Price was good. $1,000 now, $49,000 when completed. But kept calling me and staying, in not a nice way, that we still had a contract . Kept saying he was going to put a lean on my house. On last . conversation he said he would put another lean on the house. Neither occurred. His last correspondence said I was stupid. Attorney talked to his attorney. Case close.

Milestone Design and Development, Inc. was an overall amazing and extremely professional company, I had the privilege of working with them recently, and generally speaking they were a pleasure to work with on all levels. I spent weeks collaborating my ideas with them, on how to remodel and repair my master bathroom....they are wonderful in communicating with their customers, as they make sure to keep you updated and communicate well with you on all levels of the work from start to finish. I had a few minor issues and concerns about the over all look of my bathroom, and due to cost issues and because every other company would basically charge me an arm and a leg ... I couldn't find the means to have it done.. until Milestone came around. I was super thankful to have met with the owner Maurice at Milestone Design, he gave me such an efficient and fair deal that I truly couldn't refuse.... I worked with him and he made sure all my needs were met, he was precise, efficient, and very knowledgeable in this field. All the workers were great, they were respecting of my home, and they were very efficient and organized with their time there. Maurice made me feel comfortable and allowed me to trust him that my bathroom would meet my desires. I choose to knock out a wall that was getting in the way, almost cutting off the middle of the room .... after seeing how nicely they handled that, I was able to update my sink, and a few other fixtures i wasn't so happy with in there .... All in all I loved loved loved my time spent getting to know this company.... I have used others in the past, but I am certain they had exceed my trust level and expectations on almost every single level.... the mindset Maurice has, is beyond wonderful.. Hes attention to detail, is impeccable... I truly enjoyed working with them and I will definitely do it again and again... I am planning on updating my kitchen soon, and they will definitely be the company I will trust with that as well.....
