Experience was great! My daughter just purchase a condo and made an appointment the same day for late afternoon. I had to change the appointment to the following day, Eli said it was no problem. He called about 20 mintues before he arrived. He changed out front door lock in a quick manner. I also had him install a lock on the sliding patio door (normally I would put a stick in the bottom tract to block the door from opening, but the door was installed the opposite way where the tract was on the outside). Overall, great experience and would definitely use him again.

Eli arrived within one hour of my 5:30pm call on a Friday evening. That in itself was amazing. He was able to fix a frozen dead bolt lock and replace a lock on my security safe. He's a contractor that I will again use in the future.

Eli answered the phone and made arrangements to come the same day (Friday). He was on time, and also called me en route to confirm the appointment. Eli gave me a very good feeling that he is an honest, trustworthy and very competent person, which are especially good qualities in a locksmith! I asked Eli to do a number of things to all the door locks in my house and he was able to do them all quickly and competently. At the end of the job, all the locks were working so smoothly-he had also lubricated the locks and keyholes. What a difference in the locks-they seem new! Eli tested and labelled all the keys, which are all working perfectly. He also did some adjustments on some of the bolts so that they were working properly again. His charges were extremely reasonable compared to pricing I got over the phone from another company, and the add ons I asked him for he either did not charge or charged very nominally. I also got him to make some extra copies of other keys I have (desks, gates), all of which he did with no problem. What a great experience. I definitely will not be looking elsewhere for any locksmith services!

Eli was very easy to get in touch with, called me back as soon as he was able and did the job promptly. The door had a slight issue that needed to be corrected to make sure the lock would sit right and he explained what was going on and took care of it. Great service and exactly what we needed!

From beginning to end, Guardian Angel Locksmiths are top notch. I called early in the morning and Eli responded to my call promptly. He had an opening the next day but I was pleasantly surprised when he called me back and offered to come that afternoon if I was available. Eli arrived that afternoon, greeted me (and my dog) with a warm friendly smile, and went right to work. As mentioned, he offered options and gave quotes on both. In a short time, his work was complete and the deadbolts were working like new. I also used Eli's services back in January when we first moved into our "new" (old) home. We had new keys made and his work was clean and efficient. He and his partner David are highly knowledgeable in their field. David came back the following day to repair a few door knobs and offered me a look on his phone at different designs (didn't realize there were so many). David also stayed later in the evening and waited for me when I was running late in traffic. Late Sunday night emergency call. Our dog was locked in Master bedroom. New house with a strange push in lock inside room. Eli was at our home in 20 minutes. Price was quoted on phone when we called and despite being difficult to open, he honored the price - had called 2 other locksmiths earlier and their response was to require a minimal service call charge and an additional charge to be quoted for the job after arrival [can only imagine]. To add to excellent experience - besides being professional, Eli appears to be a lovely and communicative guy, he backed his kind nature up with integrity of price. Will use him again and recommend him to friends and co-workers.

He was the ONLY locksmith who returned my call on a very late Friday afternoon. Moreover, he agreed to come out when I asked to have him the very next Saturday morning. He was on time, courteous, pleasant, accommodating, did extra work for free that I had planned to have done by a door hanger I now don't need, he provided referrals on areas outside his expertise and was generally affordable for valuable service. Then in about 15 minutes he had completed the job and presented me with the keys. I would definitely call him with any locksmith needs that we might have in the future.

So.I believe Eli has the ability to present options, give educated opinions without ever making you feel pressured. It is so much more pleasant to deal with a guy like that. When he left I felt that the things I had done that were more than my plan were, WHAT I WANTED. After meeting and working with Eli, I felt so much more secure. Actually, the next day I referred him to my best friend to secure her house too!

They called to confirm their appointment in advance and arrived on time. Within a matter of moments the door lock was off and the technician was downstairs cutting new keys. The whole thing took maybe 15 minutes. I have never had someone work so quickly and efficiently. On top of that they were extremely nice and courteous.

We needed two locks replacing very quickly (<18 hours) before we left town. I called Guardian Angel and they were able to arrange a visit for just when we needed the next day. Eli the locksmith was prompt and professional. He did an excellent job quickly and securely and the price came in at less than the estimate. My wife and I recently moved into a condominium with three separate entrances. We wanted to make sure we would change all of our locks so as to know exactly who has keys. One of the entrances is a set of double-doors. After putting down hardwood floors recently, the deadbolts no longer worked and they were only held shut by an L-bracket and a screw - not at all secure. To make things more complicated, the doors are metal with a foam core, so DIY was out of the question. After finding Guardian Angel on Angie's list, I called the number and spoke with Eli. He was very friendly and professional and agreed to come over the following day within a 2-hour window after I would get home from work. The next day, he arrived within the first half-hour and explained all of our options. Right away he identified that we really didn't need to change our lock sets, but rather just re-key them. His suggestion cut the price in half from what it would have cost to replace them. He had everything he would need for the job right on his van. His solution for securing the double doors was perfect as he ended up using locking patio-door deadbolts. They actually look far better than the basic brass deadbolts they replaced. Most importantly, the doors are now properly secured. He was polite, efficient, and swept up after himself when he was finished. We were happy to pay his invoice and would happily call Guardian Angel to come back again.

I called on Sunday to leave a message for him to return the call on Monday. Surprisingly, he answered. We discussed the job and he quoted me a price of $115 to remove the lock and replace it with a new lock that was keyed to the existing lock. I thought that was an extremely fair price. We set a time for him to come on Monday. As it turned out he was able to open and fix the existing lock. He also replaced two plates on the door and oiled and unstuck 3 other locks. We settled on a total of $85 for the job. He was knowledgeable, honest, fair, polite, punctual and pleasant. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to use him again.

Hello. I needed all the doors to be rekeyed in my house and being rather paranoid decided to go with some fancy locks. I called Eli late in the morning and he set an appointment for same day in the afternoon. This was great. He was punctual and let me know before coming when he will get to the house. He did not try to upsel me on some really expensive locks but rather recomended something cheaper that he said would work just as good. As it was late and there was a lot of work he stayed until 8 in the evening and did all that needed to be done. He did not put off the work till later in the week even though it was not critical. After putting in all the new locks and making new keys Eli examined my old buzzer system on one of the gates. As he did not have the right parts he said that he would have to come back and fix it. As I already paid him I expected to never see him again. Alas, he called the next day and showed up at the house with the new parts. The lock fought him all the way and it took one more visit to get it working. But it works. I cant really comment if all the stuff will keep working in the future, but I am sure it will. Eli was great. The only little flaw I noticed after he left was that when he installed the new lock in the front door he had to drill into it and I think because it was late he forgot to collect the shavings. But this is not a big deal, as there was minimal dust and I got it in the morning. Everything else was perfect.

Called Eli around noon, and he offered to arrive between 5 and 7 the same evening. He gave me multiple calls, starting at 4:30, to give me updates on his ETA, and eventually arrived at 7:20. Eli is extremely good at what he does. He was familiar with every type of lock we encountered, extremely meticulous with the fit and finish of his work, and very resourceful in dealing with some stubborn locks. The two doors of our side gate did not line up properly, so Eli very precisely fitted the gates with plates and drilled new holes in the gate and the driveway to make it all fit. He tested the latching mechanism of the gate for probably ten minutes, making precise adjustments until everything fit perfectly. Whenever he encountered a surprise, he had exactly the right replacement or tool in his van. To top it off, Eli was friendly and willing to explain his craft. If I ever need a locksmith in the future, Eli will be the first person I call.

Eli was great. He came out quickly on a Saturday evening to replace a broken lock with a new deadbolt. Responsive. Quality work. Pleasure to deal with. Fair price. Highly recommend. We will use him for any future work.
