Needed a locksmith asap. Received wonderful service within hours of my call.

Honest, reliable, professional, friendly, on time. I would highly recommend this company. Originally I had called another locksmith, a friend's referral because I could not find the key to my front door. The referred business came and told me that the lock I had on the door could not have a new key made and that I would have to replace the lock. After waiting almost two weeks for the replacement lock to come in and three phone calls I decided to call another company. I looked on Angie's list and found Guardian Angel Locksmith. After reading the reviews about Eli and this company I called and made an appointment. I told him about the lost key and he said he did not think I needed to replace the lock. As it turns out I found the key just before he arrived. When I inquired about possibly purchasing a better lock for the front door he discouraged me and said what I had was adequate. The quoted price for a new lock was $800-900 dollars. Seven replaced house keys ( five at no charge) and a service call was what I spent. WHAT A FIND for anyone in need of this service! Refreshing ethics in today's world!

Our cleaning lady's car was stolen with our house keys inside, so we wanted our locks changed ASAP for safety. I found Guardian Angel Locksmiths on Angie's List and called. All I had to do was explain our situation and Eli promised to come out that afternoon. He called about 30 minutes before arriving and had two locks changed within 30 minutes. He had everything he needed right in the van. We got two brand new deadbolts, installed, oiled and ready to go. Eli was really pleasant, friendly and informative. I would definitely use this company again!

I called Guardian Angel Locksmith mid-afternoon on Friday and requested service the next morning. Eli was very accommodating and gave me a 2-hour window of time, between 10 a.m. and noon. At 11:40 or so, he courteously called me to let me know he would arrive in 15 minutes, which he did. My house happened to be full of dogs, but there were no problems at all because he is a dog lover. Eli worked diligently and spent a good amount of time. He also addressed the 2 troublesome locks. He made sure each key he made worked, oiled some of the lock mechanisms, and had me try the keys before he left. Eli was a pleasure to work with and, without qualifications, I would recommend him to anyone.

I couldn't get our garage door to lock. Eli came out and took the lock apart and oiled it and made us new keys. Now it works like new. He wasn't even going to charge me for a service call, but I insisted.

First, Eli is an excellent and honest locksmith. I inherited an old house with keys missing for the locks of three of the doors. All three locks appear to have been installed when the house was built, and have a look and a quality that are probably hard to find today. Because new keys cannot be made for locks as old as these are, I thought Eli was going to have to replace them, which would have been a loss, aesthetically. Eli did tell me the locks might have to be replaced, and I believed him, but when he was finished, he showed me that he was able to replace just the "guts" of the locks, instead of replacing the locks themselves. The locks are still in the doors, which is what I wanted and hoped for . Eli also did an excellent job realigning one of the doors so that it can completely close and be locked. These are thing I am sure other locksmiths can do, but I am not so sure they would all have been as honest as Eli, because more money would be made by replacing the locks completely. Second, Eli called me and apologized that he would have to be fifteen minutes late, and he asked me if this was ok with me, which it was. He then showed up promptly fifteen minutes late, as he said he would. Eli is polite and courteous, and last but not least, his is also a really nice guy. I would use him, again, and happily recommend him.

Eli at Guardian Locksmith does a great job. This is the second time I needed his services and he did not disappoint. I needed a replacement key for my ignition and Eli came out on New Years Day to make a replacement key. He did a great job and didn?t even charge me extra for working on a National Holiday! I definately recommend him.

Recently moved into a home and found a built-in safe without keys. Called Guardian Angel, they showed up less than 4 hours later to rekey. Forgot the gentleman's name but he was on time, quick, and fair. In today's world that is going above and beyond. Will use this company again in about....15 minutes.

I called on Monday after reviewing the listing on Angie's list. Eli answered the phone himself, took the details of address and contact information, and told us he would try to be out the same day (this was at about 11). I assured him that the broken-off key was manageable and not an emergency, and if he could make it, fine, otherwise the next day (Tuesday) would be fine. He was professional and very courteous and accommodating on the phone. The next morning Eli called about 10:10 and asked if it would be all right to come in about 20 minutes. Between 20-25 minutes later he was at the door, dressed appropriately and very courteous. I showed him the primary problem and told him we had realized there were several other more minor projects that needed attention too. He took this news very calmly and began to work through the work above in an orderly and thoughtful way, listening to all my comments and questions attentively and providing thoughtful, appropriate answers. Not once did he try to sell us anything we didn't need; he also did not criticize his competitors in any way. Eli went out of his way to listen and respond, to explain exactly why he was doing each of the tasks required. He would complete one task to my satisfaction, then move on to the next in order of priority (mine, not his). Eli left no messes, even lubricated all the locks after making required adjustments. As a parting shot, he made sure I understood that if anything failed to work to our satisfaction, he would make a free service call to fix the problem, without specifying any kind of time limit on his guarantee. In every respect Eli is a master of his craft who knows the meaning of Customer Service. His prices were fair and very reasonable for the quality of the work performed. We already count him as a friend whom we can count on in a crisis. Of course we will use him again.

This is the second time I've used Guardian Angel Locksmiths. The first time was when I bought my house a year ago. I had Eli re-key all of the locks. I did research online to estimate what it would cost. Eli came in and did it for significantly less, and everything has been great. I called him again yesterday because one of the bathroom doors started jamming and I was worried someone would get stuck in there. I called Eli on a Sunday, he made the appointment for 6pm today (that's the next day). He came a little bit early. While he was here, I added three other projects for internal doors and he did them all. He warned me that my door levers are older and he may need to order parts, but recommended that I wait and see how long they last. He's very polite, very nice and efficient.

Made an appointment. Eli came and fixed the problem.

Eli arrived at the house within the appointed hour and completed the job in exactly one hour. The key now fits the locks of all four doors and he gave me six free keys. Eli is a delightful man and will be my go-to locksmith from now on. Another great find from Angie's List!

The Baldwin lever handle to our back door hadn't been working properly for months, but the finish and style matched all our other hardware, so I had been procrastinating about replacing it. I phoned Guardian Angel because the reviews were so terrific; Eli arrived promptly, took apart the lockset, and explained that the inner mechanism could be replaced while leaving the external hardware in place. Baldwin hardware is pricey, so it was a relief knowing that he was honest and didn't try to sell us something we did not need. He took the broken parts with him, but made sure that our dead bolt worked efficiently so that there was no security issue. He was so efficient and professional that I decided to have him check out other interior doors that hadn't been engaging properly, despite their having been serviced by another locksmith. He said he would also get us the part to repair a closet door so it could be locked . We were pleased that Eli returned and reinstalled the new mechanisms after the weekend. The lockset now works perfectly again, 27 years after it was first installed. Eli's work was so good that we kept him longer than he had probably anticipated. He checked all the door and gate hardware throughout the house, and lubricated and adjusted everything to our complete satisfaction. Upon leaving, he assured us that were we to have any problems with the adjusted hardware, he would come back to take care of it right away. We thought his charges were extremely fair. It is reassuring knowing that we have found such a reliable, skilled technician to keep the locks in our 65-year old home operating smoothly. We will definitely call him whenever we need a locksmith.

I called Guardian Angel to have our new house rekeyed, they set up an appointment for me for the next day. Eli was early and very personable. He took a look at our front door, said the lock was in great shape. He recommended replacing another deadbolt in the house and offered a price I felt comfortable with--yes a markup from a big box Hardware store, but hey, he had it ready to go in the truck. Eli offered me several options with every lock and added extra keys (at no additional charge), including a "maid's key" that only opens one lock as opposed to all of them. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Went great. Answered the phone on the first try, came when he said he would. Took care of the problem and was nice to work with.

Guardian returned my call within the requested time frame and was able to get out quickly. They re-keyed 7 locks our home (now only one key!) and replaced one damaged lock. They also gave us 10 copies of the new key. They were reasonably priced, punctual and very professional. I greatly appreciated that they didn't try to cross sell us additional services not needed! I will definitely use Guardian again when needed.

Quick, smooth and quality work.

Excellent experience. Called on a Friday to make an appointment for the next day, Saturday. He clearly defined how much his services would cost and said he would call me before he came over. He called about 15 minutes before he arrived to make sure I was home, I was. The entire process took about 20 minutes. He re-keyed 5 locks on my home and made 4 copies of the new key. My front door never really latched correctly so I pointed this out to him. He grabbed his drill and made a couple of adjustments, and voila, the front door was working perfectly. He informed me that that repair was free, and was his pleasure. Overall it was an excellent experience. Good communication, quality work, upfront pricing, punctual, and he did an additional repair for free! If I ever need any locksmith services in the future, I'm calling them first!

We returned from vacation to find that our front door lock did not work. Turning the key did nothing. We were able to get in the back door, but obviously we need the front door to work properly. I called Eli about 3:00 in the afternoon to schedule an appointment for the next day. Eli said he would be able to come to my house that afternoon. Fortunately, he was able to fix the problem in 5 minutes for less than the price of a service call for other locksmiths. He was courteous, professional and even got along with my grumpy little dog. I would definitely call Eli again and will recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

Eli was awesome. Honest, reliable, great communicator of when he would be arriving. Instead of having four different sets of keys, he recommend that we get everything put on one master key and still have one door that could have its own separate key that we could give out to others. He is a true professional and is another reason why Angie's List is so great. Completely trustworthy.
