Discovery Landscaping

We hired Discovery Landscaping in spring 2016 to improve our backyard, which included building a barbecue area for our grill. While overall the project looks good from a distance, we had a number of significant issues with the quality of the work. For example, Discovery Landscaping rerouted our gas line under the patio and chose an incorrect pipe, which recently caused a major gas leak. They used steel “black pipe” (untreated pipe) for a section of it. The plumber that fixed the gas line told us that “black pipe” is only to be used in dry areas since not having treatment around it means the steel will rust in the presence of water. Since it was outside, the pipe eventually rusted which caused holes that allowed gas to leak. See enclosed three photos. This caused many thousands of dollars to repair the line and rebuild the patio where the plumber demoed in order to access the pipe. This also caused massive time and stress for us to manage the repair.

Great Experience. Rony was easy to work with and has a great eye for detail in his yard design. His guys came on time every day they were scheduled to work and cleaned up completely before they left. Very happy with the final result and would recommend them to anyone needing new or make-over of existing landscape.

In today's standard of unreliable and iffy contractors Discovery Lanscape was reliable and dependably at project every day 6 days a week. Customer service was prompt, and fast start to finish work. Very satisfied with experience.
