D Locks

Called David who answered the phone immediately and described my problem. Within minutes, David was at my front door and began work. His appearance was neat and prepared for work. David explained exactly what he was going to do and why. He performed his work with expertise and efficiency. David will be my go to locksmith in future. He is honest, responsible, and experienced. We shall use him in future and would highly recommend him without qualification! Bravo David!

It went great. David was willing to come over the day I called him to fix problem, but unfortunately I was unable to be there, so he came the next day. When I needed him to show up a little earlier he obliged. He took care of my front door issue very quickly. Great job, great service, great price.

David was prompt, friendly yet professional and very efficient. He repaired the broken deadbolt on our front door for the cost of the service call ($25) and explained that the repair would not hold over time as part of the deadbolt was wearing out. He told us that the lock manufacturer gave lifetime warranties and would likely send us a replacement part for free. That evening he went online and ordered the part from the manufacturer for us and arranged to have it sent directly to our house at no charge. Great service!

It went great. David actually showed up an hour and a half earlier than I thought he would which ended up being perfect with my schedule. He did the job as requested quickly and professionally and in addition, took a look at the lock of one of my other units and told me how I could fix it myself needed and save myself some money!

I called David first thing on Monday morning not really expecting to schedule a visit for a few days. He answered quickly and answered my questions thoroughly. He clearly explained the service cost and possible additional fees, depending on situation when he arrived. (I needed him to replace a traditional dead bolt lock with an electronic one I had purchased to use with my home automation system.) He offered to come out the same afternoon. Showed up right on time. Did an outstanding job of installation, re-keying to match existing keys, and thorough testing and adjustment of new lock. He wouldn't leave until I was absolutely happy and informed on how everything worked. Extremely nice, flexible, and trustworthy. I would use him again in an instant, and would highly recommend him!

David was very pleasant when I called to make the appointment the day before. When I told him the issues we were having, he offered to come out the same day. But since I wasn't going to be home, we scheduled it for the next day at 8:30 in the morning. He arrived right on time. He assessed the situation and explained everything as he was doing it. Replaced the broken part, used WD40 on the other lock and fastened the bolts for the door and made sure the locks were all aligned to avoid future problems. The invoice was for $50 for which I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting it to be above $100 since that's what I had previously experienced when I had called a locksmith at my old house. This was the most pleasant experience I have had with a service provider. I am very excited that I have found a reliable locksmith that I can call on if and when needed. I would highly recommend David.

We have a gate that we use to let people in through our phone system. Our handle was not functioning and the gate kept opening. I found David on Angies List and called. He answered and said he could meet me within the hour as he was working nearby. I was shocked at the quick response. When David showed up we discussed the issue and he gave me a couple of solutions. He did not try and "sell" me he just laid out my options. He was fast, courteous, clean and gave me a full explanation as to what he was doing. The conclusion is very simple. If I need a locksmith he is my guy. Period. If you need a locksmith he should be your guy too. I cannot recommend him highly enough. And most importantly my dog liked him too!

David was super nice and came out to add a deadbolt to one of my rooms. That was a quick operation. While he was out I asked if he could swap out a mortise lock. It turned out that my replacement lock was not quite the same size as the very old original. The swap turned out to be a much larger project and David did a great job and for a very fair price.

Daivd aims to please, and please me he did! Courteous, respectful, efficient, and reasonable prices. I would recommend him any time.

I called and requested from Angie's List a listing of area locksmiths; I received 4 names and D Lock was the last one on my list, but the only one available to do the work within a couple of hours. David came over and quickly and efficiently took care of installing and repairing the locks. He was very focused on his work and in no time finished his work. And , yes his price was very competitive.

I spoke to Dave and he recommended that I first try WD 40, but I used straigthj silicone spray, as I already had some. It worked great. He lost the sale and gained my respect and will use for any locksmith work in the future. He is now in my address book for furture work. No that easy to find honest and reliable people, but this is a winner.

As one can imagine, locking yourself out of the garage feels like an opportunity to get taken advantage of. Thankfully, he was willing to drive over through rush hour traffic and charged much less than I was anticipating. With a description of the problem over the phone he asked a few specific questions and was able to explain what he needed to do and how much it would cost before he arrived. He showed up with little notice, opened the door, handed me a new key, and gave detailed advice about what I can do to prevent this in the future. With all of the service people I've had to interact with recently, this was the best one by far.

David arrived on time and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes. This was not your average locking system! He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable knowing exactly what needed to be done. His honesty is refreshing and rare to find. David was extremely professional and even came out on a Sunday for no extra charge. When he realized my elderly Father-in-law was having difficulty opening the safe using the combination, he offered an easier method for him to try. I would HIGHLY recommend David for any lock repair or installation.
