+ -1 moreThe second visit they opened one of the vents to one of the rooms where the a/c was not working. They wanted to charge me again. I asked why it was not done on the first visit.
Description of Work: AHS sent them out because my a/c was not working. When they left the a/c still was not working in two of my rooms. AHS recalled them. and Crystal wanted me to pay for another service call which was a recall from the first service. They are terrible. Now I am dealing w/AHS because they are invoicing me for another service call when the work was not satisfactory from the first call.

+ -1 moreSimilar to the previous reviewer, American Home Shield sent this company out to look at my air conditioning unit. 1) The guy was in such a hurry, I am lucky he got out of his truck. 2) The problem is one of my central air units makes noise, noise you can audibly hear a few rooms away. The guy took one look at it and said it is fine, there is no problem. ????? I say, 'ok, why is the other (identical unit on the other side of the house silent, but this unit is noisy. There must be a problem.' He says, no problem, it is supposed to be that noisy. It is fine. These guys are a JOKE and so is American Home Services.

+ -1 moreThe Crystal Air tech proceeds to tell me that one of the issues was an expensive filter over the air intake vent was restricting air flow and causing duress on my system and needed to be removed immediately. The other issues with the heater are fixed and I remove the filter. A month later my AC is acting up. I call AHS and they send out Crystal Air again, however it's a different tech. He says my #1 problem is there is NO filter covering the air intake vent which is causing duress to my AC unit and that the filter is not covered by AHS and would need to be purchased separately, potentially through them of course. This vendor clearly knows the rules and what is and is not covered by the various home warranty policies and how to game the customer into spending additional money. A street hustle if I ever saw one. They completely lack integrity. Beware.
Description of Work: Initially my heater was acting up and Crystal Air was sent out to service the problem by American Home Shield. A month later my AC is acting up and AHS sends them out again.
