Clif and his crew did on outstanding job. They finished the job in less time than originally promised and the building looks like new. I especially appreciate Clif's responsiveness, he always got back to me with any question I had within a day which is a life saver when you are trying to coordinate a project with residents, neighbors, etc. Thanks Clif!

Clif Jones made a thorough assessment of the job site before submitting his bid which was fixed for labor and materials at his cost. He was in the upper middle third on price of the 5 bids I obtained. Reviews on Angie's list were helpful in making my decision, but ultimately it was determined by the professionalism of Clif and his description of the planned preparation and execution of the job. Jose and his crew appeared promptly at the 7:30 start time I had requested and worked diligently throughout the day. They were all polite, spoke English and were responsive to my questions and requests. Clif made daily site visits to address any issues as they arose and ensure the job was progressing as both he and I expected. Nearly 2/3 of the 3 week job duration was spent on preparation; the house has a half-timbered exterior appearance. I chose Behr Premium Plus paint based on consumer reports 9 years of testing. The job was completed to my satisfaction and Clif gives a 3 year warranty on his labor and materials. I would use Clif Jones Painting again if needed.

As you can see, I gave Clif and his crew an A in every category. We are in the midst of remodeling/restoring our home (1954 California Ranch Style) that we have really neglected for the past 18 years. We got quotes from several painters, including one through our contractor. Clif's bid was competitive and quite a bit better than our contractor's, who had already done some limited painting of the remodeled interior and the exterior patio. Clif was also very knowledgeable about the conditions in our neighborhood (Bel Air) and how they would affect the paint. He used top quality paint (I know because I saw the cans and he gives his clients the receipts for materials, which he charges at his cost). The workmanship was flawless. Our repainted bathroom vanity is honestly better than when it was new (25 years ago - we didn't change it but will on the next remodel). He also has a wonderful crew, and doubled up to be sure that the job was finished when promised. They took great care of our furniture and cleaned everything up before leaving. Easy folks to work with. It's such a pleasure to deal with someone who takes such pride in his business. I will definitely use him again.

Clif really inspected the place before giving me a fair price. The main reason I hired him was because he said he'd spend half of the two weeks prepping the house, insisting prep is the most important part of the job. He was right. His crew is amazing. Punctual, friendly, easy to communicate with, flexible. Because they are so well prepared, there was absolutely no stress. I am pretty finicky and like things my way, but because they were so professional I hardly paid attention to them as they moved about my home. Honestly they made the place look brand new. I couldn't recommend them more.

Clif Jones is amazing! We met Clif and his team after an unfortunate situation with another painter. It was a full interior restore and repaint. On top of which, Clif had the task of repairing what the previous painter had damaged. It was illuminating to see how the first painter approached the job (which went south), and then experiencing the way Clif’s team worked...starting with the way they so thoroughly prepped everything before a brush came out. The difference in process, and the end result was seriously night-and-day. And they brought back all the great details of our beautiful old 1930's home. Clif’s team did an incredible job. Their attention to detail is remarkable…worth every penny. We would HIGHLY recommend them.

Cliff and his crew are professional and efficient. After I excepted his estimate Cliff came over to help me choose a color and within a week they began the work. The prep and painting was complete in 4 days. The crew does an excellent job working efficiently, covering all areas that are not being painted and paying attention to details. They also cleaned up everything each day. My house looks beautiful now and i get so many compliments on it from people walking by.

It went well overall. This was my second experience with Clif, and once again I found him professional, knowledgeable, cooperative, and true to his commitments. We ran into a small problem in one bathroom, and he found a solution and arranged to resolve the problem. His crew was well trained and disciplined in the care they took in the work and cleanup. Clif's crew is fast & efficient! Clean, taking care to cover all carpet & flooring, furniture, etc. Clif Jones is expert at selecting wall colors, matching existing colors, recommending accent and coordinating colors. The exterior paint quality is tops & lasted for years without chalking or peeling. Interior paint colors & finishes were just what we wanted. His expert work is well worth the price!

Clif and his crew showed up on time as agreed and started by placing paper to cover our hardwood floors. The windows ledges were carefully covered and the work started. After patching the walls and cracks, the paint started and in 5 days our 3 bedroom home, living room and bedrooms and bathrooms were painted including the ceilings. The work was fast and clean and ws performed on time. They cleaned up the work materials and left our home clean and beautiful. We love it!!!

The workman were soooo efficient, friendly, and caring that the entire job was a very positive experience They were easy to work with and were patient with additions and changes. And were always on time. Neat and clean and self sufficient.....all in all a delight. I have recommended them to anyone who wants a good professional paint job.

Clif has done the exterior staining of our house two previous times and he is the only one we trust. We have a 4-story redwood house that needs Penofin products and Clif knows how to clean, brighten, and stain the house so it looks new again. The workers always show up on time, they are friendly and professional, and they clean up after the job is done. Clif also did our interior painting three years ago and this time he repainted two areas inside as well. We have worked with other painting contractors in the past and our house needs the best so that's why we call Clif. In fact, our neighbors say the house looks brand new and one of them is having Clif do his house right now. Highly recommend, A+.

Clif is the only one we trust with our house. Every three years we need to clean and restain the entire exterior which is four stories of redwood on all sides. It's a huge job. But having tried other painters in the past, Clif did the research and learned how to best clean and apply the Penofin redwood stain. We used him three years ago do correct the mistakes of the previous painter and we rehired him again this year. His workers are professional, prompt, courteous, and most importantly, detailed. They leave the place cleaner than when they got there and pay attention to every detail. The exterior looks brand new. This year it was finally time to also refresh the interior paint and we had no hesitation in asking Clif to do the interior job back to back with the exterior. Jose and his team blew us away with the level of detail, the care they showed to the furniture and art, and the overall expertise. This was also a big job which required repainting 75% of the interior of the house and they nailed it, on time and right the first time. They did several accent walls, a chalkboard wall, and a ton of repair work to drywall damaged by new floor installation. Clif shows up regularly to supervise all the work and treated our house like it's his own. I would highly recommend Clif and his team for any painting job, big or small.

Owner came up to our house quickly, however the minute I opened the door, the man complained about our small street. I knew immediately he wasn't interested in doing the job. He did look around with my husband & said he would email us a quote. He never did. Like I said, I knew he didn't want to do the job, but why not be professional & tell us he doesn't want to do the job or that he can't do the job? Don't just disappear. VERY unprofessional. Can't recommend.

Superior paint job. Some of the rooms were painted very vivid colors that required two coats of primer plus 2 coats of finish paint. The previous job had not been well done, so there was a lot of extra work required to cover. They were on time, polite, professional. They do charge a little more, but it is so worth every penny. I gave an A for this because it is worth it. Clif painted the exterior of our 2 story primary residence some years ago. It still looks great. I would never use any other painter.

All went great...I will recommend Clif Jones Painting Co any chance I can....!!! My home looks great...no issues!!! I am a 'stickler' for detail, the painting crew was on top of every aspect of my requests....they arrived on time each day and cleaned up as they left at the end of the day....! Will certainly call them again for my future painting needs....
