He was very punctual and professional. I would use them again for sure. ***UPDATE #1*** As part of the promotion, Blue Light was offering a $100 Visa Gift card. After 7 months, I still have not received though I spoke to someone at the office, provided all the necessary paperwork, and followed up repeatedly. My last couple of phone calls have not been returned. I am not one to complain about anything and always give people the benefit of the doubt but this is ridiculous. Once I get the gift card I will update this review.

I called Bluelight Security to get a estimate on the cost of installing a home alarm system and made an appointment with Robert Kim. I found Robert to be really nice and knowledgeable and very accomodating. I asked if he could come to my house at 5:30 PM to give me an estimate and he complied without hesitation. He came the same evening and was on time. He gave me a great price for the installation of an ADT alarm system considering the fact that I have 18 windows and doors. I also opted to purchase the top of the line keypad for which Robert got me a discounted price. The installation went very smoothly. I requested a Saturday installation and was quoted a arrival window of 1 to 3 PM. The installer, Chris, arrived at around 1:30PM and did a great job of installing the system and teaching me how to use the keypad. I am extremely happy with the price and service I received from Robert and Chris of Bluelight Security and would recommend them to anyone who needs an alarm system.

A local sales person came to my house on moving day (seriously, kind of busy!). I got his information and called him a month later when I was ready to tackle that project. He provided me the best deal I had seen (actually beat the published deal) with 10 sensors included, a smoke detector, and free installation. I had to purchase a few extra sensors, but it was a reasonable cost. They were able to accomodate my schedule and install after I got home from work.Armondo was punctual and was able to get my keypad in exactly the location I wanted it. I received hands on training and feel very comfortable with my new security system and all it's features. He answered all my questions before he left and made himself available should my husband need training as well.

I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience with Bluelight. I called their office on a Friday morning, after finding an advertisement for them in our neighborhood newsletter. I was greeted by a friendly lady who quickly worked to schedule an appointment for me. She got in touch with the field representative and I received a call back within 30 minutes to schedule an appointment for later THAT same afternoon. He called and talked through what I was looking for and was able to give me an out-of-pocket cost for the alarm installation over the phone and setup time for us to meet in person after his appointment - we met up on Friday afternoon. He came out, as scheduled, surveyed our home, made some recommendations (through several possible options he offered), and satisfied all of my requirements. I felt comfortable doing business with him based on both this interaction AND I had already researched the company via the BBB and the CA Bureau of Security and Investigative Services and was very happy with what I was seeing. I signed up to have the installation done and was scheduled for the following Tuesday. The company called to confirm the appointment on Monday; the technician called me on his way from his previous appointment and arrived within the two hour window we had been given; did a great job with the installation; taught us how to use the system very thoroughly (and he was very patient); and, left us with his office and direct cell number, just in case any questions came up. This experience was great and I highly recommend this company.
