Jeremy came over within a couple days of my initial call to give me an estimate about 7:15am before I left for work. He provided a written estimate together with a portfolio of products and services offered. Very nicely done. His estimate was over a thousand less than another estimate I received, and he was recommended by a contractor friend I trust. The job had to wait for a window in the weather since it was so late in the fall, but it was completed in two days. Note: the house is a 1200 sq ft with attached garage, and fairly simple roof. There was almost no evidence they had been there except a nice new roof. The work comes with a 3-year warranty in case of issues. Jeremy did say he needed to disclose that because of new California "cool roof" regulations if there was not at least 10" of insulation in the attic (I think it was 10") the inspector would not sign off the final, and so I needed to know that I might have to have insulation blown in by a different company. I wasn't sure how much insulation there was, but a friend of mine who knows there's less than 4" in the attic of the house he rents told me that when his landlord had a new roof put on there was no issue with it at all, and he knew no additional insulation had been put in. At any rate, apparently mine had the requisite amount because it was signed off with no need for further insulation. I did appreciate Jeremy's bringing this to my attention rather than finding out about it after the fact. Haven't had any windstorms yet, but it looks like a great job, the patio roof leak problem is cured, and I'm a happy camper. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!
