Sunrise Solar was born from a desire to help encourage and guide the adoption of solar energy further into the mainstream. The owner/managers, Steve Eyles and Kevin Grinnell have installed solar together for nearly 10 years on over 600 Bay Area Homes We are Sunrise Solar, a local Sonoma County Solar company. We love what we do and love this great county we live in. Please take a moment to read this somewhat long message Shopping around for a solar company can be a confusing and unpleasant experience, especially when dealing with slick career sales people pushing solar leases and Power Purchase Agreements with solar panels bolted to your roof that you do not own. These leases and PPAs are a great deal for the third party that ropes you in and takes your 30% tax credit for THEIR panels that are attached to YOUR roof. It's all very confusing, but can sometimes be tempting for the unwitting solar shopper to maybe go this route. Lately, more and more people from increasingly diverse backgrounds are rushing to make the smart and easy switch to solar. The outstanding financial returns of solar installations have attracted the attention of folks who really understand how wealth works. Still, some people simply install solar systems for the well-known environmental benefits and of course, ALSO enjoy the financial benefits as well. The sooner you put panels on the roof, the sooner you'll start saving a significant amount of money. At some point those savings accumulate and will total what you spent on your panels. After that, those savings each month amount to profits really, and you enjoy those for at least the remainder of the 25 year warranty, but likely much longer. After we complete your free analysis you will know what your solar will cost and in what future month it will be paid back. We look at your annual electric usage and available roof space and then we are able to calculate how many panels you will need and how quickly it pays you back and how much you will profit during the warranty period. Pricing on the worldwide solar panel market has steadily plummeted over the last five years and has bottomed out for about the last two years. As you are getting bids, analyses, proposals, etc. for your potential solar project make sure you get at least three bids and please allow us to throw our hat in the ring. The equipment we install has 25-year warranties and we (Steve and Kevin, the owners) live in West Sonoma County and all of our co-workers live in Sonoma County as well. Highly recommended! It took many quotes over half a year from companies large and small and ultimately I decided for Sunrise. I got the best equipment from US manufacturers installed by local guys. They did all the permitting, applications and excellent, custom work. And it meant something to me that the designers and installers were the same people. They met and exceeded other offers, were very patient and not pushy, were personable, helpful, experienced, knowledgeable, skilled and fast. From the time I signed the contract until the solar power was switched on was about a week! Plus I like the idea that if there are any issues I can go to a person I know who also personally knows me and my system.
Description of Work: They provided various quotes based upon scenerios I generated. They helped arrange financing, gave lots of experienced advice, designed, procured supplies, acquired all permits, installed and switched on system in a very timely and professional yet personable manner.
