Description of Work: Tom, the young man who answers the phone is very nice, professional and wonderful. The owner never came out to meet me even though this was a potential account for him. He sent his head guy, Elbis, who told me it would be $1000 for a one-time clean-up of the front, back and side yards. My house is a mere 1200 square feet, so you can imagine that my yard is SMALL. When I let him know that this was completely outrageous, he offered to do it for $500. That was disconcerting! Elbis then tried to take the account away from Craven by offering to do the weekly maintenance for way less on the weekend when he wasn't working for Mr. Craven. I was shocked that he would treat his employer this way and let Mr. Craven know. I thought Mr. Craven would come out to meet me and send someone else after that, but Elbis came to do the job and left half of it unfinished. There was no communication as to why this had happened until Elbis showed up unannounced the next week to finish the job! Towards the end, he left his son working here and the young man left dead branches throughout the yard. I really liked Tom and Mr. Craven (I spoke with him over the phone), but a family member put it to me this way, "If Elbis is his star employee who he chooses to represent him, I'd look for another company." It made sense to me, so I have chosen a different company.

Description of Work: I had sprinklers installed for all the landscape in the front and backyard. I also had sprinklers and a new lawn installed in the frontyard. They also put in new mulch and bark.

+ -1 moreThe workers did an excellant job but realized after completion that the type of sprinklers used were not covering the project correctly. Had to replace sprinklers and pay for extra labor to finish the job. The estimator should have known what kind of sprinklers were needed in the first place. The completed job was well done. Paying for extra labor was not welcomed.
