It went Great! Pier and his crews did a great job replacing or kitchen floor, painting our cabinets and replacing out old under counter lighting (fluorescent) with custom LED's, The new floor was impeccably laid as was the replacement of the floor base moldings. The cabinet painting was perfect.

It went very well. It took a bit longer than anticipated, but Pier was up for the challenge. The tile work was completed without a hitch and looks wonderful. We ran into a small delay with the new tub fixtures, e.g., I purchased incorrectly. After talking about the look I wanted, Pier offered to find the fixtures for me and make the purchase. There was also an issue with the length of the pipes coming from the wall which Pier had to "customize" for us. He took the time needed to provide a quality job. He spent about 12 hours performing the work that was initially projected to take more like 2-3 hours. Pier is a tradesman that takes pride in his work and his reputation. Although we could probably have found someone else to do the work at a lower price, that old adage "you get what you pay for" was absolutely true with Pier.

It didn't because no one returned my two calls. Great way to do business!

Pier had done excellent work at our home previously so we immediately called him to redo the window frames. He found more damage than we expected. He and Greg repaired the window frames and put a primer on them so they are ready to be painted. The windows look great! They were punctual and worked diligently to get the job done. Pier not only does outstanding work, he leaves the premises cleaner than they were before!

Start to finish the work took just under three weeks. Pier focused on getting the job finished and was here almost every day. He did most of the work himself or with a single helper (also a great worker). I trust them to work inside the house when I'm not home. Wishon Glass and Shower Doors installed the shower door. They were also very friendly, prompt, and efficient and the door is very high quality. Check out the picture for an example of Pier's detail-oriented work -- the tile pieces on the inside of the shower shelf line up perfectly with the tiles around it. He's near-fanatic about doing everything right, including the things like waterproofing and rough plumbing that you can't see when the work is done. We plan to hire Pier to remodel another bathroom.

Exceeded expectations. It changed the whole look of our house. The work was done perfectly and flawlessly. The ceiling was braced and fitted with a beam. It was plastered so well that you'd never know a wall had been there. The flooring also had to be repaired where the wall was originally and it was matched precisely and it also turned out perfect. The crown moulding had to been fixed and now looks better than it did. Even the ceilings were repainted: kitchen, dining room, and living room , so it all matched. The reason I hire Pier is that he is a perfectionist and meticulous. He is on time and always keeps you posted on what is going on and what is to follow. He is respectful of the house, too. He protects it from any work being done and it is always clean at the end of the day. On each project, he has found substandard workmanship from the original builders; whether it is plumbing, electrical, etc., instead of bypassing it, he fixes it.

EXCEEDED EXPECTIONS!!!! We'd hired a few years ago to remodel the guest bathroom, create and install hallway cupboard doors and add moulding to the kitchen. He was meticulous, did beautiful work and didn't cut any corners. He's a perfectionist and makes sure every detail is fine-tuned...so obviously we hired him again (and will do so for any future projects)! He has high work ethics. Pier also intently listened to our requirements and wishes, and had some helpful and ingenious ideas for areas that we needed some interior decorating guidance. He's multi-talented! Pier remodeled our master bathroom, tearing out everything and replacing wood where needed. He repaired and moved existing plumbing, added insulation, moved the electrical switches and outlets. Now for the fun parts. He installed a heater/ventillation/light/nightlight ceiling unit (no more getting out of a shower into a cold room in our cold CA winters!) and ceiling lighting. He did amazing work installing the shower stall tiles and detailed trim (which would have tested anyone else's patience because of the tiny pieces), as well as the floor and baseboard tiles. Installation of the rest of the fixtures was a breeze for Pier as well. The shower stall doors are absolutely amazing! Our master bath is now a luxurious retreat! Thank you, Pier. Pier created and installed beautiful, quality cupboards for the laundry room. Another masterpiece! He installed floor and baseboard tiles. His last amazing creation was a gorgeous mantle and surround for the fireplace. After all I've seen him create, I think he outdid himself. The moulding between the columns and the mantle was intricately pieced together. I had a vision for the fireplace, and Pier fine tuned the details to my specifications and made it more beautiful than I had ever dreamed! He tore out the hearth and installed tile on it as well as the fireplace face. Next month we're going to have him install a remote controlled gas fireplace insert. We'll be all set for our "cold" winter weather. Pier was punctual, responsive and cleaned up before leaving. His days weren't limited to 8 hours either. If something wasn't finished, he stayed to ensure it was completed so he could begin the next stage the following day. Obviously we highly recommend Pier for any projects anyone may have. It went great! Pier definitely knew what needed to be done and how to go about doing it. He had all of the necessary equipment to do the job. Best of all he was an absolute perfectionist-- not only in doing the work right the first time-- but in making sure that the clean up after the job was perfect. I was totally satisfied-- in fact-- so much so-- that I am hiring him again to help make some cabinet doors for us. I highly recommend him.

We were very happy with all of the work done. Our refinished cabinets with new doors look like brand new cabinets and the rest of the work was of similar high quality. We hired Pier because of all of his good reviews, and he didn't disappoint. We noticed that the only negative reviews were from people that did not have any work done. Seems a little unfair to leave a negative review for someone you didn't even hire, especially after having seen Pier's work first-hand. He even tried to help us fix some of the problems caused by our previous contractor.

There were some cosmetic and functional issues with our bathroom, but we didn't want to gut the entire space. We contacted Pier because we knew he would do a great job fixing the problems. He performed electrical work, built a custom vanity and cabinet, fixed a shower leak and associated issues, added tile for our baseboards, replaced the window, among other details. Pier did a great job and as always, was great at communicating with us as the job progressed. He is very conscientious about our pet and ensuring the work didn't disturb her.

Pier completed a gut renovation on my master bathroom on time, on budget, and high quality. Let me say that again--on time, on budget, and high quality. The wife and I left town for a month with our then four month old daughter who sleeps in our room. If the job would not have been complete when we returned to town, we would have needed to stay with the inlaws until it was done. Pier guaranteed he'd finish on time. This was the third job I was hiring him to do, so I knew I could take him at his word. If not for that, I would have asked for a much simpler and less time consuming renovation. Even with a few surprises, he still finished on time. Contrast this with the typical story where homeowner returns home to find the contractor has barely started or has dust everywhere. Now my wife says to her friends when they marvel at our new bathroom, "And it was done on time! Thank god for Pier!" We designed a custom vanity. Pier works with a carpenter Joe who also does work for Disney. Holy cow did he do a bang up job on the piece! We installed a pocket door offset from the original door location. I was dumbfounded that I could not detect any hints that it was a renovation instead of original. It's like magic. One reason Pier completes such great work is he has an amazing right hand man Greg. What a team. Anyone who knocks Pier on Angie's list for supposed poor communication in responding to "would you like to quote" inquiries really needs to get a life. When he's on the job, he is focused and determined, and a better communicator than any other contractor out there.

Perfect, looks even better than I imagined. Pier might not be the least expensive bid you get, but if you want perfection, he is the guy to hire.

With Pier's expert guidance, workmanship and references, we survived 5 months of demolition, product selection, and rebuilding, and now we are enjoying our beautiful new kitchen! Pier is a perfectionist and tolerates nothing but the best from those who work for him. He is punctual, thorough and responsive to all phone calls. We never experienced the angst of remodeling because we knew that Pier had it handled. He crossed every T and dotted every i, ensuring that all projects were completed to our - and his - satisfaction. Will we hire him again? Absolutely!

Pier is a perfectionist. When he is done, the workmanship is flawless. He might not be the cheapest bid you get, but if you are picky, and want your home to look priceless, Pier is the guy to call.

His work is excellent. He had some great ideas of what we should do to update the look and style of our small kitchen, and upon completion it met all expectations. His work is meticulous, and he is a perfectionist. My wife loves the look and all of my neighbors can't believe the transformation

Pier was busy when I first contacted him to repair the water damage in our home, but he kept me informed via email of his availability. In the meantime I had a couple of people out to look at the problem. I was not comfortable with any of them. Pier was well worth the wait! He diagnosed that the drainage in the back yard was poor causing water to enter the house when it rained. He repaired the exterior, stucco, and built up the concrete patio to create the proper drainage for the house so we would not have the problem again! The back door was raised about 1.5 inches, the door was trimmed to fit, and he replaced the threshold and installed a new security screen door. He also demoed and removed the built-in bar and cabinets that were water damaged, patched up the walls and installed new electrical boxes and plugs. Additionally, he removed an old, unused exhaust pipe in the kitchen ceiling and repaired the roof and replaced the tiles to match the roof. All the work was completed in three days! Pier and his team are very professional, clean and work quickly. Pier is very experienced and knows what he is doing. My family and I feel very confident that the work he has done is excellent. Additionally we are planning to have more work done and will call him first.

He completed the tasl ahead of schedule and with great results. He is very professional and easy to work with. He will now be doing a number of tasks for me, including my overall of our kitchen

First, it was great to get the estimate from the same person who did the work. Solves so many communication issues. Pier was great about making sure everything was done right. He worked on my project as if he was doing it in his own house! Great attention to detail. He also stuck to his time schedule which seems to rarely happen with most renovation projects. He brought up a number of ideas which were a big help as well. The finished product looks wonderful. Dealing with Pier was such a nice change from the polished salespeople who bring in multiple workers who don't really care. Would definitely use Pier again.

We are very pleased with our renovation, which consisted of converting our laundry area into a 1/2 bath, creating a new laundry area and adding custom cabinetry for storage. The end product is just as we imagined it. Pier is very meticulous and the quality of his work is excellent. We enjoyed working with Greg as well. We will certainly hire him again for our next project.

Excellent. Pier explained in detail how he was going to install the track and made sure all worked properly before leaving. I was impressed with his workmanship as well as his neatness. I would like to use Pier for more extensive projects.

Pier encountered some problems with the rewire, but figured out a way to make it work. The bookcase is gorgeous and finishes our room. We have used Pier's service for the past 10 years. He's fantastic.

We initially hired Pier because he told us that when he was finished with our shower renovation we would not be able to tell where the old shower ended and the new parts began. He was absolutely correct; after replacing the pan and glass enclosure of our shower stall, we cannot tell that half of it was built 9 years ago and the rest this week. Overall, Pier does excellent work. His bid was complete and included each item that needed work. He performed the work as described in the bid and throughout the project he made sure we were satisfied with the results.
