Description of Work: They Did Nothing. After multiple phone messages left I gave up as there was never a return call to me. Very bad customer consideration!

Description of Work: Nothing, only spoke with the owner on the phone. I called on a Saturday afternoon and he was extremely rude! Don't list your personal cell phone number if you don't want calls on the weekend. We run a business too and get call at all hours of the day, just be professional.

Description of Work: After waiting years for my husband to do give the interior portion of our home a facelift, I decided to check out Angie's List for help. Just like the other reviews, I chose P's Handyman Service. I honestly thing the business name does not describe the services provided. |My husband and I were very please with Pier's work. From the moment we met him, we knew he would be the one to complete the projects we needed done. He was extremely friendly. He did not haggle like other guy from Angie's List who kept calling after giving an estimate. He simply listened to what we wanted done, emailed the price and details and left it to us to decide if we wanted his service. He recommended the right materials. His crew was outstanding, neat and punctual. If they were going to be late, they would call to inform us. My only problem was we went over budget because after they started working and we liked the results and kept asking if they could do this or that. Pier gave great suggestions about using real wood for the crown molding we had done throughout the whole house. My only regret is that we did not have them do our hardwood floors. We made the mistake of using someone recommended by Hernandez Brothers flooring who contracts with Costco. Pier told us about an error they made and we called them back to fix it. Of course they did still did not fix the flooring issue to our liking and we chose to do-it-ourselves. We're going to have Pier come back soon to put in entry doors on our garaged and had a door to our laundry room. NOTE to husbands: If you decide to use P's Handyman Services, let Pier and his crew do everything. It may cost a little more but, it will be done correctly and it will get done on time. ;)

Description of Work: I've used P's Handyman. He was out here about a month ago. He is a builder guy. He did a closet for me. He did some work in the bathroom. He did some work on the decks.

Description of Work: A variety of TV mounts and installs. Some minor electrical work. He was prepared, efficient,cleaned up after his work, and checked several times to assure he was placing things exactly where I wanted them. Very good work!

Description of Work: I contacted Pier and he responded promptly. We set up an appt to bid the job for the services required. I had a change in plans for financial reasons . I called Pier and explained the situation. He was gracious and professional . Ensuingly I was contacted by a friend of mine who was back in the area and was between jobs so he would look at my jobs and give me a family rate. He also happens to be really good and dear friend so it was Win win for us. Based on my interactions with Pier I would contact him for work if needed .

Description of Work: Installed new solid maple doors with raised panel and eyebrow on top of upper cabinet doors in the kitchen. Added new maple plywood drawer boxes with lacquered finish; installed soft close drawer slides on all drawers. Stained all cabinet doors and drawers; installed new cabinet handles. All interior kitchen cabinets painted with white semi-gloss paint. The project was completed on-schedule. Pier and his crew did an outstanding job. This is the third project Pier has done for us. My husband is a perfectionist, so Pier had his work cut out for him when he did the first project for us. My husband could barely believe his eyes when the job was finished. He has finally met his match with Pier! It goes without saying, Pier is the only one my husband contacts when work has to be done around the house. Thank you, Pier, for the brilliant quality work you do.

Description of Work: Pier did many smaller projects inside and outside the house. Outstanding work! He made great recommendations on a few items. He was able to improvise a part for an old pocket door that wouldn't slide. He also fixed a couple items previous repair people mess up and they are perfect!

Description of Work: I called them 2 times and left messages, but I have never heard back from them. Are they still in business? I don't think you would recommend them if they are not in business, but if they were, they should have the courtesy to call back.

Description of Work: This provider came out in a timely manner and was punctual. He was very professional and shared some great ideas. I believe his work to be high quality. We did not go with him because he was a little pricey for us.

Description of Work: I used Pier on a small repair job about 2 years ago and after reading numerous reviews of his remodeling work, asked him to quote a remodeling job of our den and family room. The job entailed installation of LED recessed lighting, removal of a ceiling fan, repair of walls and ceiling, painting of walls and ceilings, construction and installation of wainscoting in the den, construction and installation of a new fireplace mantle in the den, painting of a brick fireplace, installation of new light switches and replacement of several plugs and switches (including relocation of some), and preparation and painting of interior pocket doors in the den. The original quote included wainscoting and painting of both rooms, but after the initial quote we dialed it back to eliminate work in the living room except for installation of LED recessed lighting and associated switches. I stuck very close to the number I had to work with and was forced to eliminate most of the work in the living room. Readers must understand that Pier is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, and I knew that going in, but his work is very detailed and high quality compared to anyone I've used. The job took about a 2 weeks to complete. Pier was very good about communicating from the time her started to the time he finished. If there are extra items he needs to do to get the job done, he will tell you, but make sure you ask for a quote of that work because that was not freely offered. Also, make sure that if there are computers/TVs or other AV equipment that need to be removed as part of the job, that they are replaced, reconnected and work properly before the job is completed. He did this but I had to ask him. The quality of the work in the den is impeccable. His attention to detail is what everyone should want. The wife and I are very happy with how it all turned out. If you are interested in wainscoting, he builds it by hand and it's amazing. His painter produces some of the highest quality painting I've seen. I'll definitely use Pier again for more modeling work.

Description of Work: Install new sinks and faucets, install new shower fixtures, replaced rotting particle boards under the kitchen sink, made major repairs to my redwood fence, installed curtain rods, replaced broken electrical outlet in the patio, replaced missing shelves and poles in closets, showed my painters how to make the installation of crown molding easier, repaired a pocket door and the lock mechanism on a large sliding door. He also replaced broken tiles in one bathroom and hung a heavy piece of framed art about 15 ft up a wall. Pier can fix anything and the job is very well done. A real pro whom I would recommend without exception. Wish I'd known about him earlier.

Description of Work: Wife called to ask for estimate or service on repair of two ceiling fans and one light fixture and was rudely told: "I am not interested. I have a back up of 30 days of work". No sign of appreciation that we at least checked him out to give him the opportunity to do the work. We will not be contacting again.
