+ -1 moreI needed my roof inspected and repaired before the onslaught of El Nino. They were very busy but said they would fit me in. The owner came out and inspected and told me his guys would get to it when they could. I expected to wait weeks but it was only a few days. After a subsequent wind storm I found more roof tiles on the ground and could see something wrong on the roof. They came out again and made another patch and didn't even charge me for it. I will definitely call them when I need to have the whole roof replaced in a couple of years.

+ -1 moreWe're new homeowners, and during escrow our home inspector told us that our flat roof was nearing the end of its life. I asked GM Roofing to assess the condition of the roof and what could be done to extend the life of the roof. After inspecting the roof, Vess from GM Roofing gave us the awesome news that our roof is in good condition and could last for another 10 years. He just recommended an annual roof check-up to check the pipe fittings and gravel guards. We were expecting a major cost this year with the roof, so we're more than relieved with this news. It was wonderful to get an honest assessment, and I think Vess definitely had this homeowner's best interests in mind. On the same day, I also had a different general contractor/project manager give his assessment of his roof. He's not a roofing specialist, but he also said that the roof didn't need any work, and could last for at least another 2 years. We're hoping Vess and GM Roofing is right with their prediction of 10 more years with this roof, and we'll get annual maintenance to be on the safe side.

Description of Work: GM Roofing removed 2 layers and put a new composition roof on my one-story home and separate garage (approximately 2500 sq. ft.) I got 3 bids, and all were within $200. I chose GM Roofing because of Vess's professionalism and because Gary, the other owner, is a former neighbor. | |Each day the crew showed up promptly and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each work day. My yard, driveway, and patio were left spotless and they were careful with my many potted plants. One of my neighbors even commented that they were one of the most efficient crews he had seen work on our street and asked for a card for the future. I highly recommend GM Roofing for a professional, quality job.

When Vess came out to inspect the roof at my rental property he instantly made me feel at ease. I received the price quote the same day. Vess scheduled the crew to start on the date I requested. The job was completed in 2 days with no issues and the roof looks great. From my initial contact with Vess through the end of the project I felt everyone involved was professional, honest and courteous. The neighbors told me that the crew was very considerate and polite. I would highly recommend GM Roofing to anyone who needs a roof repaired or replaced.
Description of Work: GM Roofing removed the existing roofing material. The plywood, fascia board and starter boards were replaced as needed due to dry rot. The wood was primed to protect from the elements. A new 30 year laminated composition shingle was installed on the house and garage. The crew cleaned up around the house in a professional manner and disposed of the roofing debris the same day. The roof looks fantastic!

+ -1 moreI have used GM Roofing many times over the last few years. I have had contracts on roofs and I have found the work done to be professional and the response time excellent. I will continue to use this company and I highly recommend the company and it's owner Vess Pearson.
Description of Work: I have had many different repairs done to the roofs on properties I owned. All work was done in a timely fashion. I have also had contracts for maintenance of the roof and that has worked out fine. GM Roofing has done some work on my own roof but only minor work. Repair and placement of tiles. I I will continue to use GM Roofing now and in the future.

+ -1 moreIt took the roofers almost two weeks to get our roof done. They used very high quality materials and were also very detail oriented. Everything that they completed for us was nicely done and we are extremely happy with how it turned out.
Description of Work: G M Roofing tore off our old roofing and put on a new composite shingle roof on our 2500 square foot home.
