We reached out to several different vendors, but decided to go with Baron even though they weren't the cheapest. We were naturally skeptical in having a relationship with any contractor, but our conversations with Mike and Eli regarding the finer points of the work estimate and the timeliness schedule of the work gave us the confidence we were looking for, so we pulled the trigger and went with Baron. We made sure to be as flexible as we could be regarding timing, and I stayed in the house for the duration of the work. The day before the work started, Eli called me to make sure I knew what to expect, as this was my first remodel of this scope. Eli came out to the site, and we talked through where the majority of the work was going to take place, and what I could expect during and after the construction on each day. I work from home, and was able to spend quite a bit of time being annoying and poking around the worksite, asking questions of the various crews that wereperforming work (foundation, framing, plumming, etc). I'd talk with Eli every couple of days, and they were very flexible with my indecision, and periodic changes. My wife went back and forth on what she wanted to do about a dozen times, and Eli had the patience of a saint, and made sure we got what we wanted. Overall, the various crews were neat, punctual, and friendly, and the management was available and attentive, ! I was able to speak to someone when I needed to, and they were understanding in how stressful this process can be for a homeowner. These guys were great! I highly recommend them!

This was our first time remodeling our kitchen and were hesitant on who could perform the work with our expectations. We spoke to many different providers until we found Baron Construction and Remodeling. After speaking with Eli we knew we were in the right hands. He understood exactly what we wanted and took notes of all the little details. This was our entire kitchen and they took of everything without us having to worry. The quote was slightly higher from other providers but worth every penny for their professionlasim and craftsmanship! We highly recommend Eli and his team for any remodeling job!

Baron Construction is a excellent company. We would definitely hire them again. We had learned that there was a serious problem under the house while having electrical work done. The concrete foundations at the bottom of the pier pilings were disintegrating. We left voice messages with several different contractors and foundation companies that we researched online, but many did not call back. Even more did not keep appointments. Eli Levy of Baron Construction was the exception. He made a timely appointment and arrived when scheduled. Although we had been doing research online regarding foundations, this was a fairly grey area to us. When Eli came and looked in detail under the house, he informed us the problem was bigger that we had at first thought. We only had piers on half on the house! While talking over the work that must be done, and the age and condition of the house, we brought up the condition of the roof. Eli looked at the roof and saw the sagging areas that we pointed out. We talked about El Nino and stared talking about roof repairs. It turned out that the roof was in worse shape that it looked on the surface; in fact there was no plywood base and only 2 layers of failing shingles (one wood, the original "roof deck"). We negotiated an excellent price by being flexible with start and finish dates. We even ended up having Eli use one of his (excellent) crews to do major internal painting in the house! All inspections were passed on the 1st visit with flying colors. If you need work on your house, big or small, new or old, we heartily recommend speaking to Eli Levy before signing contracts with anyone else.

Mike felt the door and small wall I wanted to have installed would require engineering and permits, so we agreed that he would contact his engineer partner and get back to me in a day or two with his update. On 10/23/15 I received a call from his office where they informed me that Baron Construction was so backed up with work that they would not be able to work on my project, and that I should contact Angieslist for further assistance regarding an alternate provider. I personally feel that Mike did not think this project would run over the 40 hours purchased, so he would not be in a position to sell extra hours at his regular rate. When I then contacted Tiffany at Angieslist on 10/23/15 she was unaware of the position Baron Construction was in or that they were refusing to work on offers that have been sold. Tiffany said she would contact Baron Construction and get back to me with a solution, but as of 10/28/15 I have not heard from Baron Construction or Tiffany at Angieslist. The price would have been good had they performed any work and they did show up on time to discuss the project, but overall I would say this has been a miserable experience with both Baron Construction and Angieslist.

It was amazing. I was a little worried at first because I had never had this kind of work done but Baron Construction exceeded my expectations. Everything went well and I love my bathroom and am so excited for my new roof, especially before the rainy season begins. I was apprehensive to do both jobs at the same time, but I am so happy I did!

The workers know their jobs, but they have all been careless on the messes they make and none of them have had a vacuum to pick up their mess. They just don't care about peoples homes.

This was our first time remodeling a kitchen and Baron Construction made the entire experience efficient and enjoyable. From the get go they were attentive and helpful in making our visions come to life. It was a full remodel of the kitchen and they made sure it was stress free. Although I initially thought their quote was a little high, the quality of work and overall experience was definitely worth it and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be working with them on our future projects.

The Baron Construction and Remodeling demoed the entire kitchen, and remodeled all the counters and installed new cabinets. They also installed all the appliances. Ensured that the new kitchen meets all the new building codes. Baron Construction and Remodeling did a very professional job and taking our requests and suggestions into consideration. All the workers are polite and professional. The project leader, Eli Levy is very attentive and visited the job site frequently. The owner, Mike Baron also paid several visits personally. They also built a custom bench for our kitchen nook which turned out very nice. For the downstairs bathroom, they also demoed the entire bathroom and built the shower from scratch. They did a great job on the tile for the shower. It is the most beautiful shower in the house now. I would recommend Baron Construction and Remodeling to my friends and other people.

Baron Construction I purchased an Angie?s list deal for a bathroom remodel project. The Deal was 40 hours of work for $1500. I figured the whole project was going to be 80 to 90 hours, so getting the first half done cheap was a bargin. What could go wrong? As it turns out, plenty. My project was to be done in three phases. After I had deconstructed the bathroom down to studs and base floor, phase one was to do some rough plumbing, and re-Frame where it was necessary to repair termite damage, which included replacing the outside bath window. The second phase, after I had put in the insulation, was to sheet rock (actually hardieboard) the floor walls and ceiling in preparation for tiling. The Third Phase was to texture the walls and ceilings not to be tiled, and tiling the floors and bathtub area. I was expecting this project to take three weeks. First, I set an appointment with Mike the Contractor to come out and review the project. We agreed that his guys would start work on a Monday and that the Thursday before he would come by with ?guy? and review the project and put together a list of the things I would need for the project. Mike missed the Thursday appointment and it wasn?t until Monday I got a hold of him to reschedule. We did the kickoff meeting but didn?t start until Wednesday, which with inspection cost me four days. The first phase, was done satisfactorily and was inspected and passed. On the next phase however, the wheels fell off the project. While putting up the last piece of wall, the guy drilled into the water line and it wasn?t until the end of the day that the plumber could get out to repair the damage. The next day, no one showed up, I called and was promised that someone would come out and finish. No one showed up and phone calls and messages were not returned until late on the Friday, promising a guy would show up on Saturday to finish. I canceled my Saturday plans. I needed the work done. Then waited until mid morning to call, only to be told, my guy was stuck on another job and that he would be there later in the afternoon. Then late in the Afternoon, another apology and was promised a guy would show up on Monday, the day before the scheduled inspection Monday morning, no guy, Two phone calls, two Texts, ?car trouble?. Now I am worried, the inspection is on Tuesday and the walls are not ready. At Noon, I blow up. I call Mike and he agrees to come to my house. We talk, he promises a guy will get there in the afternoon. At five o?clock I call, where is your guy? He shows up, finally at 7:00pm but he can only do some of the work. He promises to show up on Tuesday morning to finish. He does show up and finishes the work before 8 am. That is cutting it close. I have used three different contractors on my house remodel for various things. Baron?s was by far the worst in terms of meeting time commitments and doing what they promised. I cannot offer a favorable recommendation for this contractor, They missed too many commitments, cost me too much time managing their failures to perform. In the end I awarded the last part of the project to my best contractor and paid him more so I could get the work done right and on time.

It looks better than it did originally. They where extremely professional and we felt comfortable having them work on the project even if we were not home at the time. They assess the damage as they went and kept us informed of all work changes. We will definitely consider using them in the future.

The team who did the Pergola installation were fantastic. Although there were some last minute scheduling issues Baron took on the additional costs themselves of getting a team in at short notice and they worked a long day to get the installation done including cutting shims to level the pergola. Many people have remarked on the work and it has dramatically improved our backyard. For the remaining days on the coupon we had a team come in a do 3 days in total of tiling. Overall we got a fair job from the tiling team with a couple of miscommunications. However, once issues are raised they act quickly to resolve and are committed to ensuring that the job is acceptable to the customer. These are a good company and I will certainly use them again.

It went great. Mike was a great communicator and his team worked hard and went above and beyond expectations.

We found Baron Construction on Angie's List and couldn't be happier. We would highly recommend using them for your next home improvement project. Josue and the team impressed us from the first day. When Josue came by to scope out the work, he was able to provide us with an estimate on the spot and even an initial write up of the contract. He even provided us with a folder of documentation which included information on their license, bond, and insurance. The work on our project started a few days after we signed the contract and it was completed within the 2 week estimate of completion. The team's commitment to quality and our satisfaction were always a priority. Josue was in contact with us during every day of the project, and he was even onsite most days. The workers did a great job covering up all the surrounding areas so it wouldn't be impacted by the work on the room. They also made sure to leave the work area clean and tidy. We were also very impressed by the amount of items they were able to accomplish on Day 1 (teardown ceiling, check for leaks, install ceiling, install recessed lighting, and tear out of carpet). Overall, it was a great experience to work with Josue and the Baron Construction team and I wouldn't hesitate calling on them again for our next project.

He came out to discuss a job to make over my two-car garage into a woodshop. He gave me a ballpark price, and send he would send me a detailed estimate once I sent him the floor plan. I sent out the floor plan and a detailed spec, and he replied that he was too busy to do the estimate or the work.

Out of 3 different appraisals, Baron Construction & Remodeling Co. provided me the best offer within my budget that helped reassure my decision. In fact, I was very impressed with their Project Manager, Eli Levy; who took time to evaluate my kitchen, and provided excellent creative ideas that explained different beautiful designs, color suggestions, materials, and overall better accessibility that I would have never thought of. Eli hired on a great team of professional contractors; who worked very hard to make sure everything was to its perfection and to my satisfaction. Though there were a few bumps in the road of 're-do's' that caused some delay of project, we overcame those obstacles, and the overall outcome of the project was a success! Above all, I am extremely happy with my new kitchen as I've gotten a lot of compliments already!~ I would also like to point out that I had a plumbing issue, (That was NOT related to my kitchen project), Eli went the extra mile to help fix that problem at no additional cost because he cares for his customers. I would highly recommend Baron C&R to remodel / repair ANY part of your home. If I need any future renovations in my home, I know who to call. There were a couple of bumps in the progress but at the end of the day I am very satisfied with the results and that's what matters. Their work is very good.

He wasn’t really sure what the Deal would cover. He said the Deal would only cover up to half of any work that I need done, so I requested a refund. One of the jobs I need done would have been about 80 hours and was he going to charge $13,000 total to finish the bathroom.

I didn't have the deal done due to description confusion. After speaking with the owner, it appears his estimate did not clearly outline the financial aspects of his proposal. Although I did call him to try to figure things out; I apparently did not correctly understand this part of his proposal. Although I hired a different company to do the work; I would be interested in giving Mike another try and will contact him in the Spring when I am planning on having a fence installed on my property.

they made an appointment they couldn't keep, even though they were already in the same city, while i was two hours away and still managed to be on time for the appointment. they made a hideous first impression, so there's no way i'd ever trust them to keep a project on schedule or for their workers to show up on time. if you want somebody's business, manage your time properly.

First they came and give us an estimate that we really liked, we signed the contract to do the kitchen floors. Before they started the job I ask them to give me a price for the complete kitchen remodeling. again we liked the price and we signed the contract (BTW they helped us with financing the job). during the process we found out the electrical wiring needs to be replaced mike gave us very good price on that so we let them do it. they also gave us 3D design rendering that was great, we actually could see how the kitchen will look like.. Roy Mike and the team where very helpful they answered all of our concerns and even when we change things around they where very understanding and helped us to make our dream come true. we where very impressed when all city inspection pass at the first time. we love how our kitchen came out, it looks amazing like it came out of a catalog, its like living in a mention. we will use Baron construction again to do our roof in the in the near future. they did exactly what they promise and above. we are extremely happy that we choose Baron construction and remodeling to do our kitchen.

I did have them come back in July to redo my bathroon and they were so wonderful and easy to work with and they. Did it on time and at the cost they said. There team is so professional and they made me so happy. I would have them do anything for me .

It went so well and they made it so easy for me as a single woman. I was not sure of things but Mike and Roy made it so easy for me and walked me through everything so that I knew what to expect. Anything they did I loved... They just made the process so easy with all the stuff they did. I would not do anything else without Mike and Roy, they are my go to guys, and I am going to do more stuff with them.

We would like to testify to the wonderful work Baron Construction performed on our home. They removed the popcorn ceilings in three bebrooms and painted. They also painted the external. Both groups showed extra ordinary professional ship. They worked witth us in every way giving us the opportunity too choose our colors. They completely cleared up and carried off all trsh and debris. The quality of work was second to none. The crew was very polite and Very Professional. My wife and I wuld not hesitate to refer this business to friends and familles.
