+ -1 moreMark of Santee Roofing was referred to us by our Solar system Contractor, John Perkins of Perkins Electrical to replace our existing roof with more energy efficient material. John worked his shedule to integrate installation with the bracketing phase of the solar installation to make sure each bracket attachment was water/leakproof. The city inspector said that John did a great job on the roof and the completion permit was signed immediately. I highly recommend Mark with Santee Roofing. He is detail oriented and does a great job. Mark and John worked great together to provide us with a roof and solar system we will enjoy for years. Sue
Description of Work: Removal and disposal of shingle roofing material. Paper and two layers of full torch down rolled roofing material in Shasta White for the highest energy efficiency. The job included permit, labor, materials, great warranty, and removal of all trash.

Description of Work: I noticed that I had a leak in the roof where a 25-year-old addition joined the original house. In addition, the roof was ready for replacement. Santee Roofing was one of many companies I contacted about the problem. The owner returned my initial call promptly and came out to assess what needed to be done and to provide an estimate. His price was good and his solution to the problem of the leak sounded logical. His team began the project ahead of the estimated start time and finished within a week. All personnel involved in the reroof were very nice and responsive to any questions. It rained the night of the day the roof was completed. No more leak and the roof looks great.

+ -1 moreInitial installation of roof went just fine. Later on, when we wanted some more work done over our patio, they would not respond to our calls. With so many roofers being flaky, this just might be another one of those.

+ -1 moreWE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH OTHER ROOFING COMPANIES NOT RETURNING PHONE CALLS OR EVEN SHOWING UP FOR BIDS. A NEIGHBOR HAD USED MARK OF SANTEE ROOFING AND RECOMMENDED HIM. WHEN HE STARTED HIS JOB, HE FINISHED IT PROMPTLY AND DID AN AWESOME JOB. THE ORIGINAL CONTRACTOR DID SUCH A POOR JOB IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, PEOPLE HAVE BEEN INSTALLING NEW ROOFS FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS!
Description of Work: THEY REPAIRED A TILE ROOF ON 1/4 OF OUR 17 YR OLD HOME. THEY LAID NEW PAPER AND INSTALLED THE ROOF CORRECTLY.
