Completely unprofessional! I would give it no stars if it were an option. I called HQ before going to this local store. I was given attitude and was completely written after they saw my skin color. They told me they would not sell me. I called HQ to confirm WHILE in the store. The older lady who wrote us off was screaming in the background "WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO?" While waiting on hold for the person at HQ to get the manager, two other ladies walked in. Immediately I noticed 1# They did not get the attitude I got. 2# They weren't asked nearly as many questions regarding who their contractor or installer was 3# They were clearly not contractors but weren't turned away After waiting for a few minutes, the manager from HQ gets on the phone and explains that, yes they are wholesale to the trade. I was told all I needed to have was a contractor or installer and if I didn't have one they could help me find one. Well this was not the sentiment I got from the local store. After telling them the details of the conversation I had with HQ, I was asked a series of questions about my installer and even had to call him on the phone. (Mind you, the two women who walked in after me weren't asked these same questions or given the same level of scrutiny.) After still refusing to help me, I called HQ again. While in the store, I told them that the way I was being treated felt very much like racial discrimination because there was literally no other reason to turn me away at that point. As I am making the complaint to HQ I walked out the door. They asked the name of who I spoke to and when I walked back in and asked the gentlemen his name I was told to leave. WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH HQ. The manager from HQ apologized and said he would call the store to get to the bottom of it. A few minutes later an angry man jumps on the with a very confrontational tone asking "What I wanted" and "my call was transferred to him". At this point I was so disgusted and distraught from the experience I decided to just pursue a remedy for this situation through all other available channels as they definitely didn't want to resolve it themselves. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED

Horrible experience from top to bottom I have been there over 3x to pick carpet with the rep - story changed every time, couldn't get the color/styles right, so confused and a total mess. I told him my install date 2 weeks in advance in multiple emails, I have the thread even. Finally got pricing and availability, he told me to order by Friday morning no problem and I would have the carpet by the following Tuesday/Wednesday. So I set up my painters and the carpet installer for the following Thursday to give enough time, sent my payment info to get the carpet to RAYO Santee, then I get a call, carpet will not be here until Friday at some point. NOW WHAT DO I DO?? I have contracted with a painter and carpet installer and have the week scheduled to move furniture out and my wife and kids out of all our bedrooms to get this all done so we are not without bedrooms for weeks. Totally screwed me and when I called, he was ****** that I would even dare to lay any blame on him, would not take any responsibility or accountability and did not care one bit. WORST COMPANY, WORST SERVICE EVER.

They were very courteous and patient with me. It took several visits to the showroom to finally decide what to order. They have a large slection of flooring and competetive pricing on products. It is difficult to find carpet runners for stairs but they provided several choices from quality manufacturers. My salesperson provided me a list of flooring contractors to install the runner. I am very pleased with the outcome and highly reccommend them.

Rayo has a nice showroom with many samples. I wasn't sure what kind (or color) of kitchen floor I wanted. Kenny showed me around and was very patient and encouraging ever time I went in and every time I took samples home. It took me a few trips but once a selection was made (and ordered) the flooring came in, in less than a week. It has now been installed and I love it.

Because we were working with a contractor, we were able to purchase carpeting from Rayo (they are wholesale). We had our contractor pick it up and install it. Steve was knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful through the entire process. We got a great carpet at a great price. Well worth the trip.

I drove to Santee on strength of the Angie's List reports praising this company--what a waste of gas. After being ignored by sales staff for 20 minutes, I finally approached a salesman to ask for a price on several carpets. Instead of telling me, the salesman asked, Do you have a contractor? No, I replied; I am shopping to replace the carpet in my house. Well, he said, turning away, I can tell you a price but I won't sell it to you we only deal with contractors. Great! So I need to hire a contractor just to get my carpet replaced? I heard another salesman discussing recommended installers, but this was never mentioned to me. Based on what I can piece together, this place negotiates prices with installers ( contractors ) and writes a contract with them. The homeowner apparently must choose the carpet before knowing the price and then turn control over to a carpet installer. Don't waste your time here.

RAYO. WAS BOTH REASONABLE IN PRICE, BUT ALSO EASY TO WORK WITH ON THE INSTALLATION TIME FRAME. IT HAD TO BE DONE ON A WEEKEND, AND THEY WERE ABLE TO GET AN INSTALLER TO DO IT WHEN WE NEEDED.

QUICK, AND ON TIME.

CARPET, TILE, HARDWOOD AND ALL RELATED PRODUCTS WERE PURCHASED FROM THIS COMPANY. THE EMPLOYEE WE DEALT WITH WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE PROVIDING ANSWERS AND ASSISTANCE IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE REMODEL.

REASONABLE PRICES, COMPLETE ROOM WITH GOOD SERVICE.

SALES PEOPLE WERE VERY HELPFUL IN PICKING OUT CARPET. THEY HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE.

THE INSTALLER WAS VERY EXPERIENCED, TALKED VERY LITTLE, BUT WORKED STEADILY-HE DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB. THEY HAULED AWAY THE OLD CARPET.

STEVE THE SALESMAN WAS VERY PERSONAL AND TOOK GREAT CARE OF US IN THE SHOWROOM. THE INSTALLERS DID A GREAT JOB AND IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.

FRIENDLY SERVICE, CONVENIENT LOCATION, HELPFUL SALES AND SERVICE PEOPLE AND THEY HAD A GREAT SELECTION BEAUTIFULLY DISPLAYED IN A SHOWROOM. I USE THEM OFTEN FOR THE BEST DEALS AROUND.

THEIR PRICES ARE THE BEST AROUND AND THE QUALITY IS GREAT. THE INSTALLER DID A GREAT JOB AND WAS QUICK AND EFFICIENT. COMMUNICATION WAS GREAT. GREAT SELECTION AND PRICING.
