+ -1 moreThere are no more details regarding the work. Adam was thoughtful in explaining what needed to be done and how long it would take. He spoke like a gentleman with a very subtle brogue. He didn't sell anything; he explained everything clearly and readily answered our questions.
Description of Work: Adam arrived on time and took over 4 hours to complete the repair. He had to cut a hole around the shower faucet. He then removed the old unit which was frozen in a position that was too hot to be comfortable. He knocked down a 2x4 that supported the old faucet and provided support with metal strips. This was done in very tight quarters. He then put a larger chrome plate to cover the hole he cut. And lastly, he caulked all around the new cover. We could have saved money by just replacing parts on the old unit, but without any sales pitch we could see that installing a new unit was the right way to go. The new unit works perfectly.

+ -1 moreNear the end of one day, the backhoe partially crushed a pipe in our front yard. We weren't sure it it was a working pipe or leftover from the demo of the previous house. Ken and Adam were able to determine that it was an old pipe but secured it anyway. What a relief! Adam also fixed a number of small plumbing problems in our house, such as a sink which had a leak (having been installed incorrectly)and a pinched pipe under our jacuzzi tub that resulted in no cold water through faucet.
Description of Work: Adam was great to deal with. He was neat in apperance and professional, yet friendly. He made the time to come over at the end of the day to check a possible gas leak (due to digging outside). He not only determined that the pipe was an old unused one, but he sealed the possible break and triple-wrapped specific tape so that a problem couldn't develop in the future. I would highly recommend Ken Sweet's Plumbing Service and plan on using them in the future if I need plumbing help.
