+ -1 moreJerry gave me instructions on quantities and prices for pipe and where to get this and the angle iron. He met me at the supply house, and since I bought the materials, I saved money on any mark up (there was none). He provided additional materials from his stock at no additional charge and pretty much refused to take more money from me. His initial bill was $300 dollars, but this seemed so unfair (6+ hours of work). I paid him more for the bill.
Description of Work: Jerry took a used truck rack that I had bought from Craig's List and completely refabricated it for me. He built a custom 3'' X 3'' angle iron frame for the base, cut out several sections of the pipe rack, and welded in new pieces to make it fit on my truck. He ground down all the welds that needed it and finished off with a paint ready product. His skill is unbelievable. He has an eye like a hawk and attention to detail fitting a Boatsmans Mate Chief (Hence the name BMC Welding). I was thoroughly impressed with all of the work performed. I hired him for two additional jobs since then and have not been disappointed!!! I would recommend Jerry to anyone looking for a real welder and not a hacker. I just wish that more people out selling stuff had the same integrity and skill that Jerry has.
