Amazing Glass

Amazing Glass did a wonderful job. Dave was a delight to work with, just love his work.

Broken window pane in rental property. Very punctual over the phone, very professional over the phone, came out the next day to provide a quote. However, sticking point came when I ask for Amazing Glass to provide a cause of glass breakage. Over the phone, they said they do this all the time and will provide a cause for breakage if they can determine the cause. Shown a photo, Amazing Glass said it was most likely impact. The email quote gave me a price (which was fair) and a cause, "impact". However, when I asked that "impact" be included on the quote so my tenant could send it to his insurance company for reimbursment, Amazing Glass said they would not put "impact" on the quote because they did not want to be dragged into court for disputes and di not want to be a part of tenant/landlord disputes. This is a sticking point as"someones" insurance is going to pay for this, and glass companies (in my humble opinion) should be the glass professionals who provide this diagnosis service to tenants/owners/insurance companies. If not, state this caveat up front. If you don't need an insurance claim, I wouldn't steer you away. Seem like nice guys.

All went well. We emailed in pix of windows where glass needed replacing. After we answered a couple of more questions, we got an estimate, with recommendations for type of glass clearly explained. Installation went flawlessly. My husband, especially, is thrilled by improvement in view of mountains from our living room,.

I called him he came out and measured the opening. He ordered the glass and came out 1 week later and installed it. He was very professional at a reasonable price. I would absolutely use him again.
