Description of Work: The hot/warm cycles were not working for my aging GE spacemaker combo washer/dryer. They investigated and found a defective hot water valve, and ordered the part for replacement on their next visit. On the next visit, after replacing the valve, they also found that the timer dial was defective. At this point, they would have had to order an additional part, with the estimate for all parts/labor adding to about 2/3 the cost of just buying a new unit. I opted at that point to just buy a new unit; A+ Appliances did not charge me for the valve they had already ordered, and only charged me their standard fee for an initial service call, and the hot/cold water lines they replaced.

Description of Work: We've used Aplus twice, once for refrigerator that wouldn't keep cool and once for oven that locked and would not re-open after we used self-clean program. (Word to the wise: Google search suggests the latter is a common problem, so clean your over the old-fashioned way by doing it yourself.) | |Love the service we got. Easy scheduling, prompt arrival and persistence in solving two problems that turned out to resist the obvious and easy solution. | |Two major appliance repairs in two months is enough for now. But if something else does break down, we will call Aplus right away.

Description of Work: Service call on dryer. Informed me we need to replace motor. I opted to buy a new one given price for that service and age of dryer.

Description of Work: Repairman was prompt and arrived ahead of schedule. He diagnosed our dryer problem quickly and determined that the thermostat needed to be replaced. Due to the age of the dryer it made more sense to replace it than repair it. I would use their service again and would recommend them.

Description of Work: They fixed the seal on the washer's door. It took about an hour.

Description of Work: Spent an hour evaluating and then cleaning the hard water build up in my dishwasher. Only charged me for the service call as nothing was wrong except calcium build up. Gave me all the product information I needed to continue the cleaning process. Dishwasher now works.

Description of Work: Repaired our Fisher & Paykel dishwashing drawers. Did a good enough job that they are coming (requested same technician) tomorrow to repair our Bosch full size dish washer.

Description of Work: They replaced some rollers for the drum of our LG dryer. My wife was there during the repairs and did not clean up the area very well after he finished. Also, when I came home it was hard to read the techs hand writing on the repair work order.

Description of Work: My tenant reported that water wasn't flowing into the washing machine. While on site I also had A+ give the clothes dryer a preventative once over. The tech called me explaining his findings and the charges. Everything was handled professionally.
