Description of Work: We worked with sales rep Michael and installer Kenny. We got a solid hickory floor throughout the house at the price that was fair. Work was done as promised. We had a minor hiccup with a warranty question because our furnace was not yet installed, but it was resolved to our satisfaction in a timely manner. We had no complaints and we are very happy with our floor six months in. Hoping to say the same 20 years from now! (Please note that as an educator I may be tougher on grading than others.)

Description of Work: My entire experience with the Floor Store was a disaster. There was a lack of communication from the very beginning and I believe it was because the salesman talked so much that he couldn't hear a word I said. There was more than one occasion where we yelled at one another. |The first mistake was he ordered the wrong vinyl for my bathroom which I noticed as soon as I saw it installed and he tried to make it my fault as I had signed the invoice order. He wrote the wrong numbers down. He almost repeated the mistake on the reorder and was even going to charge me for the second vinyl but I think someone reconsidered. I had him order enough for both bathrooms but this was lost in the translation so I had to pay for vinyl again for my second bath. |After installing the carpet the crew did no cleanup. There was shredded carpet and rough edging everywhere. They did not even vacuum. |After laying the wood floors,towards the end, when my sliding closet doors were rehung I handed them the guides that are screwed into the floor and asked them to re install them. They flat out lied to me and said they had nothing to do with them. They removed the old carpet, flooring, whatever was in there, laid the new floor but they had nothing to do with those guides. |I know it wasn't the painter, I asked. It wasn't the general contractor, either. I had to hire someone else to install those guides. And that was the last straw for me, that is why they failed. |Not only will I not use this company in the future, I will advise my friends and family not to use them.

Description of Work: We had a very good experience with The Floor Store and in particular our sales person and Store Manager Henry Rodriguez. The prices and service were excellent. The price that we paid was very good compared with other stores. Henry was very helpful throughout the sale and installation. After the carpet was layed we discovered a defect which Henry checked on right away and without a hassle reordered and replaced it at no cost. We are completed satisfied and would recommend purchasing flooring from this store.
