These guys did a great job. Showed up when they said they would. Did the work in a timely manner. Cleaned and repaired leach lines. Workers were courteous and kept me informed on the problems and what to expect. Fair pricing. I would definitely use these guys in the future and would recommend them to others for similar work.

They were right on time and not only did the work, but provided valuable suggestions to prolong the life of the septic system. I would definitely use them in the future for other septic system needs.

Description of Work: Quality Septic Svc arrived about 30 minutes before the promised time. It was a hot day but the service man was not bothered by the heat. With a probe he found exactly where he had to dig to reach the lid to the tank, then dug another hole to reach another lid which I didn't know was there. The previous company, about 10 years ago, didn't bother uncovering the other lid, so didn't do quite as thorough job as Quality Svc did. The price was competitive with other estimates I received. Good job on a very hot day for digging.

Description of Work: Cut roots in septic tank and pumped out tank. Two workers did a good job, however they were very late due to their previous job where they ran into unanticipated problems. They have (2) trucks, one for the high pressure root cutter, and one truck w/tank to pump out 800 gallon septic tank.

Prompt. Professional. Upfront with all cost ranges. Expected payment at time of service. Checks OK. Raul was direct in his recommendations for next steps. Luckily, the problem was at the first junction box, so big project not needed. sa I would use again. Minor irritations: contact is entirely by voice mail, no human contact. The second crew needed to borrow some equipment from me (rope, cut off valve) as it was not on their truck.
Description of Work: Second trip out. First was $425 to pump out tank, Second was "jetter" to check connection between tank and first junction box to leech field. $300

We had a clog in the drainage to the septic tank. We snaked it ourselves but it didn't solve the problem and the toilet stopped draining. We called several companies and Quality Septic was the only one that could come out the same day. They found a gunk stuck by the septic tank, coming out of the pipe from the house where the snake couldn't reach, so they sucked it out in addition to pumping our tank. It solved the problem. We were very happy with the work done.

We have an old house in Guerneville. We have had problems with the plumbing and been given estimates as high as $5000.00. Russian River Plumbing referred us to Quality Septic Service and we have used them two times, one for the bathroom and one for the kitchen. They are the nicest guys to deal with and their prices are very reasonable. 5 stars!

It's hard to put a price on work that requires a man dangling head first into a 5' deep hole at the entrance to an effluent line coming from the septic tank! Not to mention working upside down!! However, the price for what we got overall was rather steep. I understood going into the job that we would definitely know the location of the "distribution boxes" and be able to clean them out if needed as well. In actuality, the technology that would have allowed them to find the boxes was on the end of the "hydro jet" and couldn't be used unless the hose carrying the hydro jets through the effluent line reached its destination: the distribution boxes. (I may not fully understand the capability of this piece of technology, but I know in our case it wasn't useful...though I had been assured earlier on the phone that they could tell me the location of the boxes for sure.) Subsequent work by yet another company informed us that, in fact, Quality Septic had hit a 90 degree angle in the effluent line and that was why their jets hadn't passed the area. It turned out that the "boxes" were another 25 feet or so from where they stopped. Had they dug out the line there to see what the snag was, delivered on locating the boxes, OR dug out the rest of the septic tank I would have felt better about the almost $600 for the job. Most of the money goes to emptying the truck of the waste and we WERE given a small discount (about $40, I think) based on not really having that much waste to dump since only the liquid half of our tank was pumped. However, the $250 for the "hydro jet" seemed about $50 -$100 too steep based on their inability to complete the task.
Description of Work: We had already paid to have our septic problem "diagnosed" by another company that uncovered HALF the tank in order to peer inside and see if it was emptying properly. Since it wasn't, we hired a different company to pump the tank and use a "hydro jet" to clean out to the leach field. Unfortunatly, the tank had only been I/2 uncovered, so unless we wanted to pay for more digging and delay the process, we couldn't pump the "solid" side and had only the "liquid" side pumped, against the recommendation of Quality Septic. ( A mistake on our part when we hired them accidentally informing them that the tank was already uncovered.) Since our tank had been pumped less than a year ago, we assumed that wasn't the main problem and proceeded with the "hydro jet" designed to ream out the effluent line coming from the tank and leading to the leach field "boxes." However, Quality couldn't get into the opening for the pipe since it had collapsed. Ulitmately one man held the legs of another while the second lowered himself HEAD FIRST into the hole leading to the entrance of the effluent line in order to see what the problem was and chip away at the crumbled line. I couldn't believe it as I saw him dangling in that disgusting spot! When the blockage was removed, they again attempted to thread the jet stream into the pipe. With some start-and-stop snags, they were able to "hydro jet " about 25 feet down the line, but finally ran into a hard blockage at the end. Having seen the crumbled iron pipe at the entrance, knowing the age of the system, and figuring they hit the end of the line, they stopped. There was some discussion of digging up the pipe in that location, but they decided against it. This left us with a broken system needing, at the very least, a new effluent line.

I would give them an A overall.
Description of Work: They pumped the septic tank. They dug out and examined distribution boxes. They replaced the septic tank baffle.
