Pat's Affordable Fumigation & Inspections

The fumigation of the house and garage appears to have been successful. We paid an additional $300 to have a vapor barrier laid under the house. Our contractor, who was installing a perimeter foundation, asked that Pat's roll up the vapor barrier after the fumigation so that it would not be damaged when he completed his work. On August 7, I notified Lynn Saccamano in the office that we needed the vapor barrier rolled up and left under the house after the fumigation was complete. The job foreman visited the house on August 7 and I called him back and told him that the vapor barrier was to be rolled up and left under the house after the fumigation was complete. I looked under the house on the afternoon of August 12 and noted that the vapor barrier was not there (and there was no indication that it had been installed prior to fumigation). I emailed and called Lynn Saccamano in the office on the week of August 19 and asked to have the $300 refunded or the vapor barrier installed. She said she would ask Pat what he wanted to do. There was no response. One month later I called and spoke to Lynn Saccamano again and she said she would ask Pat what he wanted to do. We have received no response. I called the office today, 01/02/2014 at 3:30 and got their recorder. I left a message stating that we wanted a check for $300 by January 16, 2014 - or the vapor barrier delivered to the house by 01/16/2014. I stated that if neither was done, we would have to file for small claims court satisfaction. The morning of the August 8 the crew foreman called us 4 times with questions. He thought the gas might be on (gas cannot be on during a fumigation) but we told him it was disconnected (the house was vacant and under construction) and that we had informed the office of this. He then called and said he needed water and could not find a spigot. I told him the spigot was on the front wall of the house. My co-owner drove up to the house a few minutes later and the foreman was still looking for the water, so she showed him where it is located - Its a conventional spigot and its right on the front of the house. These calls and the foreman's confusion (for lack of a better term) about the gas and water were disconcerting. Professionalism was lacking. The vapor barrier membrane was delivered to the house 01/15/2014 as requested. Thank you!

From start to finish this company earned an A+ The owner, Pat, did the inspection and assessment, answered all my questions, and encouraged me to contact the office with any further questions that might come to mind. Some did, and Lynn at the office was courteous, responsive and very knowledgable in each call (2-3 calls as we went through the process). The crew phoned to keep me updated on timing throughout. On the day of the fumigation they were prompt, friendly, responsive to all my questions, and very efficient. I received a call when there might be a few hours delay on completion of the project due to rain/scheduling. I appreciated this alert, received well in advance, especially given that there was only a chance of it materializing, but the alert helped me with planning for that day. The delay was not necessary, but I very much appreciated their keeping me informed. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

They just did their job in a professional like manner. They were good.

The price was expensive for that kind of service but I checked him with a lot of people and he was so reasonable that I was almost afraid. But my faith was restored when I spoke with him and we kept tabs on the job and everything. I looked him up online, too to see if there were other reviews on him. I was happy with him. I was really happy with them for letting us know that we had the option to save money to clean under the house. It was our son who did that and we paid him for that.
