Northco Electric

Description of Work: Change out on existing home from overhead to underground service. Also power up mobile home pedestal service on same day. Northco Electric was one of three bids for the job. As a frugal rental company, I prefer to do some of the work myself, i.e. trenching, install meter box, run conduit and set mobile home pedestal and concrete work. I asked all three companies to bid on complete project, and asked each if I could save money by buying the materials and doing the work described above. One never submitted a bid, the other seemed offended that I would do some of the work in a paternal manner. But Northco was willing to advise me and allow me to do much of the work myself, or equally willing to do the entire work. The advise and materials list was solid and Jeromy came out to inspect my work prior to the orchestrated change over with the public utility company. The work had to be completed on the same day so my tenant was only without power (from overhead to underground service) for about 2 hours. His labor charge was fair for the time on the job, no charge for the phone calls and advise on grounding, EMT conduit questions etc.

Description of Work: I am a general contractor in northern AZ. NorthCo, at the homeowners request, came out to rewire an area in a house I am currently renovating. They were so responsive and professinal they now handle all of my electrical needs. They ended up replacing most of the fixtures in and on the entire house as well as upgrading a great deal of the circuitry to bring it up to code.
