They did a good job. They brought the parts down that they replace placed and showed me what was wrong and that built a trust between me and the service provider. I would recommend them and use them again. Showed up on time and got the job done in the same day.

When I made the appointment I told them that my husband and I would not be home but that my mother would be there and she lives with us 2 days a week. I got a call from the home office saying that they were told by the tech that they went to the home but no one was there other than a tenant. I told the office that, that can't be the case since I specifically told my mom about the appointment and she was waiting for them. I of course immediately called my mother and asked what happened. She told me the guy came, looked around, gave a quote for $8K for a unit that is being fazed out because it is becoming obsolete and doesn't meet FDA standards....you want to charge me $8K for a unit that isn't even energy efficient? On top of that the tech clearly lied to his home office saying no one was there. We will not be using this vendor in the future and I would say, definitely not a diamond certified company if the techs are lying and lacking integrity.

The company contacted me within 48 hours and an appointment was made for 3 days later. The technician that arrived was neat, clean and professional. He removed his shoes upon entering and was quite a personable young man. He began his normal inspection and while he was working I told him of concerns that I had about my heating & air conditioning system. He then decided to do a full, complimentary inspection to put my mind at ease. He explained his findings to me and offered me alternatives and his opinion about my concerns. Overall I think he was at my home just under an hour. Cost was $19.00 for the Angie's List Special, and the amount I paid was $19.00. I will definitely use Moore's Heating & Air Conditioning again and would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

Service was great, but not so good for my furnace . Jeff the technician showed me what wasn't working on the furnace. I could see for myself what was not working correctly on it. The service call was about an hour late but there was a courtesy call letting me know that he was running late. He was very nice and easy going, did a thorough job and found the cause for my rumbling heater and fixed it (very grateful). It took a bit longer than I anticipated and had two antsy kids throughout the procedure, and felt like there was a lot of pressure to buy something else, which I did not really need. Will actually be hiring this company for another service, but not something they were pushing during service call though I typically steer clear of companies that try to hustle me in to buying merchandise and services during a service call.

They were marvelous, they were really great. I used it a week or two after I bought it. It went fixing the problem. They were polite, clean and they spoke well. They try and talk over on our heard and he was just very nice. The gentleman who came over was Jason and he stood out. I love his customer service and he definitely got it.

It was good. They did end up kind of upselling me a thing when they'll come out and check your stuff and all that stuff in which I probably didn't need. It gives me a peace of mind that if something happens, we have two furnaces. I think one of our furnaces may need to be replaced in the next couple of years but they were very nice. I have two furnaces and when I called them I told them that. They gave me a good deal and I think it's like another $59 or something like that. It was a really good deal that they had on Angie's List and then they gave me a deal for the other furnace. They ordered a filter for one of my heaters and I had never heard back from them. So I don't know whether that was ever installed or not. These thing that kind of slip through the cracks. They were very personable and I think they did a good job. They were very thorough. They were clean, they were efficient and all in all I thought it was a good deal.

If for any reason you do not experience the Benefit of being one of our Valued Gold Club Maintenance Members please call me directly at (707) 396-0960 and I will make sure that you receive a 100% Refund of your investment. We have found that our Customers find great value in being a Club Member and that it pays for itself in efficiency of your system and discount when repairs or diagnostic is needed. An added bonus is that if and when you do need to replace your one system that is older you will receive a 10% Club Discount off of our standard pricing. In any case my goal here is to make sure that you are 100% Satisfied and if you ever feel that you are not please just give me a call and I will make sure to do whatever it take to correct things, even if that means giving you all of your money back! (2) It seems as though there was a mis-communication about the Filter Replacement. We offered it to you but we do not have record of you approving that cost so the filter never got ordered. Angie's "Big Deal" Price is $29--Company offers same thing for $19 on their website. Also, this is a "foot-in-the-door" coupon. Company refused to provide pricing info for additional work they may tell me is needed. I have been through this before--it's just a way to overcharge the customer. Pricing for services should be provided on request, NOT after you have already been charged for the visit, and you are going to be out that money regardless. I consider this to be unethical. I will not do business with companies that will not tell me how they charge until AFTER they have already charged me to come to my home.

Our interaction started with the telephone call which was handled professionally. Dale, the technician, was exceptional. We would recommend them HIGHLY and will not hesitate to call them again if the need arises.

I purchased the Tune Up Special for $49 and called to arrange the appointment. The customer service rep told me at the time that they were scheduling those a few months out, since its the winter and they were trying to restore heat to customers without heat at all. Once I explained that I just purchased a new (for us, but a very old) home and based on the home inspection we were afraid to turn the furnace on, they immediately were able to reconfigure the way the money for the tune up was allotted, and came and did a diagnostic check. Once there, the tech, Ryan, looked over everything, crawled in our crawl space and noted the broken ducts (all of them) that were under the house and that it was sitting in asbestos. He said they needed a complete rebuilding of the structures. Now, normally they don't schedule many weekend times for the secondary inspection and job bidding, but they also accommodated my request and I was given a Saturday time just 2 days from my first inspection. The next tech, Corrina, came to the house, did the same looks and saw the same damage. She immediately went to work to figure out the best and fastest way to make the upgrades and repairs and looked for rebates that we qualified for. It was important to us to have the repairs done by the Christmas holiday, since that's when we had planned to move in, and we were scheduled at their earliest time, before the holiday! She left and we were completely satisfied. But, before she pulled out of the driveway, she got a called from the owner of the company telling her that he had already rearranged the calendar a little and he has found time for the next Tuesday and Wednesday for the entire process to be completed. So, from first visit to project completion, we only had to work with 7 days! Asbestos is nothing we wanted to mess around with, so this put us at great ease! I have no reference to know whether the price is low or high, but considering from beginning to end our project was only 7 days, they did a complete rebuilding of new heating ducts under the house, arranged from proper abatement of deadly asbestos, and we kind and courteous and professional the whole time, I would say it was worth every penny and then some!

I called for a furnace inspection for my stand-alone propane room heater. When I contacted them they said they do not do stand-alone heaters and I needed to get my refund from Angie's List. I tried and sent a REPLY but it went back to the HVAC company and they again told me to get the refund from Angie's List. They were helpful but could not do the service.

The idea sounds great but try and get an appointment! I bought it and entered 3 dates in November and was told to contact the company to make the appointment. When I did, I was told there was a wait list to middle of February. This service was, therefore, not able to meet my needs.

There was no charge because it was basically an inspection. Same service tech has been out here and his name is Josh. He's always very friendly. He keeps us well-informed. He is knowledgeable about his work. From my dealings with them, they're very honest. They're good to work with. They're very good. Their estimates and pricing seem to be in line with what the trade would charge. I would most certainly use them again.
Description of Work: He came out to check our system because we were not getting air into one section of the house and he found out why and it was fixed. He just basically did an inspection and gave us some information.

Description of Work: I initially purchased the Big Deal for $29 for a Furnace Tune- Up and Safety inspection. The tune up went well, but we discovered I needed a new furnace. They came back at a later date to install the new furnace.

I had expected problems with the furnace and air conditioning system as they were 24 years old. During the inspection they found that the compression chamber was rusted through and was a huge fire issue. They came me the option of just turning off the furnace or signing a release of liability acknowledging I knew there was a fire danger if I left it on. I know it sounds crazy but I really didn't want to burn down my home so I decided to fix the problem. They explained all the levels of systems available, and even explained how I could fix the furnace now and do the sir conditioning unit at a later date if money was an issue. I ended up going with one of the most environmentally economical systems, pricey but in the long run worth it all the way around. They were timely, there when they said they would be, and professional. Ninety days after installation of the new system they called me to come out and check the system and make sure everything was right.
Description of Work: They were called out to do a simple inspection and found that the compression chamber was rusted through in the furnace. They ended up replacing the entire furnace and air conditioning system.
