Description of Work: They replaced our heater. |Unfortunately, we had an over sized heater installed in our house several years ago by a local company that gave us a really good deal on what was probably a close out heater and not suitable for the size of our house (which we learned later). |Over the years, when we had service men out, they pointed out the heater was over sized but never explained why. The guys from Moore were the first ones who did that. The problem was that the heater would be blowing the air through the duct system that was too small, kind of like having asthma, which I do! (This is my analogy not theirs.) Our heater was always overworking trying to move the air so it was always noisy and wearing itself out. |Convincing my husband to replace our heater was the hardest part, but they answered all his questions until he finally consented. |Since we've had the heater replaced, it is quiet and our PG&E bill has dropped by $50 per month. |We had follow up inspections once the new heater was installed and they discovered a couple of their own mistakes and quickly corrected them. The following year (2014) when we had the next inspection, they found our Air Scrubber was not working so replaced it at no cost. |We were able to apply for interest free financing which made is much easier to agree to the expense of the new heater. |I am happy with the heater and the service provided by this company.

Description of Work: Nothing. My thermostat say heater and cooling. It was not cooling. I asked to come; they say I did not have air condition it was a wrong thermostat. $40 dolls.

Description of Work: They replaced a furnace fan motor. Complicated story, but I had the original on hand and they swapped it in for one that was inappropriate. David was cheerful, knowledgeable, and efficient. The price was reasonable and he remained on-site long enough to make sure all systems were functioning properly.

He asked me questions to determine if I had any concerns then went about his work. Upon finding some irregularities in my heating system he made sure that those were adjusted and that I would not have problems in the future. He went above and beyond, without an additional charge, to make sure that my entire system was safe and operating at its best. Moore will be my go-to company far into the future. Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's list offer for an AC/furnace safety check and tuneup. The technician was polite, respectful, and did a wonderful job. My HVAC system is old and I half-expected some sales pressure to buy a new one, but the technician didn't try any such thing. I would definitely use this company again.
